How to cross-stitch a tree of happiness. Embroidering a picture on the wall

Good day!

I saw this embroidery from a friend and wanted to do it too. The price in city stores turned out to be more expensive than on the Internet, so I ordered it on the website.

The set has everything you need, even in excess. I still have threads and beads left after embroidery.

The cross is of medium size, so everything can be embroidered easily and simply. Everything on the diagram is painted in corresponding colors, which helps you navigate.

The threads included are good and do not break.

The instructions are more than clear, so thanks to it I also learned how to knit fluffy bows. This is what happened in the end. After the work was ready, I washed and ironed it. And then framed it.

The embroidery fit on a standard A4 frame. I had to remove the glass because the bows were voluminous and I didn’t want to press them.

Embroidery is not difficult - even I, a beginner, managed to do it. I got confused a couple of times, but unraveled it and remade it. I really liked what happened. Riolis has several more trees in this series: a money tree, a love tree (apparently), and a happiness tree, you can collect them all and decorate them beautifully.

Embroidery - a talisman - has always been considered by our ancestors as something sacred, possessing magical powers. It was applied not only to their clothes, but also to all home textiles, even bedding. One of the main amulets among the Slavs was the tree of happiness, which they embroidered with a cross. Such a tree is considered a family talisman, protecting against evil eyes and various extraneous influences.

Moreover, Tanita recommended showing off more (or was that not my concern?) :) So, the pillow is just for days like these: climb into a chair, pull out a magazine from behind your back, place a cup with something fragrant next to it and build and build handicrafts plans. :) This checkered fabric is linen + cotton from Trekhgorka, but it is woven quite evenly, so it turns out to be three threads for three...

I have been embroidering for 3 years now, and I don’t have many finished works, but they are all my favorites. All of them were carefully selected by me. In general, I want to say that embroidery by any method - whether cross stitch or satin stitch - is a rather complex, but very creative process. There are a lot of secrets and nuances here, and it’s better not to ask how much patience it requires! But when you get the hang of it... Embroidery is an incomparable pleasure! I...
