What to wear for a child to school. How to dress for school as a teenager to look stylish and not violate the regulations of the educational institution

If your school does not have a uniform, and you have not yet had time to buy clothes for your children, look at our photo galleries! We have chosen very beautiful and fashionable outfits for every day for students from first grade to graduation.

Main rules school uniform

Even if the school has adopted a free uniform, teachers and psychologists (and for some time now also officials) insist on business style clothes. They say that a discreet and laconic outfit disciplines. A thirteen-year-old teenager I know explained this phenomenon this way: the suit constrains physically and evokes an insurmountable boredom, which adults mistake for good manners.

The most popular colors for school suits are blue, gray, black, brown, burgundy, and dark green. Prints include check, tartan, and pinstripe.

For reasons of comfort and hygiene, school uniform fabrics are usually blended, but it is desirable that the proportion of natural fibers such as cotton or wool be at least 50%.

Finally, experts have even developed special clothing lists that, for the year ahead, exhaust the daily needs of boys and girls in clothing for school. They look something like this.

Let's see how to dress a schoolboy and schoolgirl comfortably, beautifully and fashionably, without violating these rules.

Firstly, diversify the palette school uniform, adding the following to it fashionable shades autumn-winter 2013-14, like turquoise, lavender, sunny yellow, crimson, emerald, scarlet.

Secondly, enrich the classic set of prints from stripes, tartan and checks with lovely and trendy patterns of pied-de-poule (aka “chicken foot”), polka dots (“polka dots”) and printed floral prints.

Thirdly, complement formal suits with bright accessories and cute details - removable collars, bow collars, flounces, bright socks and tights for girls, and for boys it can be a silk muffler, colored and patterned knitwear under a jacket, layering, bright bags and shoes.

And now - the long-awaited examples!

Let's start with the collection Oscar de la Renta. Agree, his modest blue sundresses and dresses, set off by white collars and blouses, look impeccable - the strictest teacher will not find fault! And bright turquoise accents make the school uniform fashionable, elegant, and positive. In the photo you will see another option: laconic black and white sets for girls (the print sets the mood), as well as a traditional version of a jacket and trousers for a boy - what makes it interesting is the successful combination of shades.

Happy parents of first-graders will be interested to see how elegantly the brand dresses children Dolce&Gabbana. The combination of black and gray in clothes for girls does not look boring at all thanks to the correctly selected proportions and the effect of alternating shades.

The next couple of outfits are from Armani Junior. A dress and cardigan with polka dots looks modest, respectable and fashionable, and an elegant suit with sneakers will illustrate how the boy’s parents maintain a balance of interests (and understand fashion):

And here are a few more discreet images. How can anyone not like the thick and bright color of the jacket? Baby Dior, which goes well with both trousers and jeans; simple gray dress from Chloe; artistic image from John Galliano(take a closer look at this dress - you can’t imagine a simpler design and color, it’s all about the unexpected pattern):

Now get ready to cheer up because the following photo galleries will inspire you to a creative approach to choosing a school uniform for a child.

Here, for example, are the models again Oscar de la Renta: everything is within the framework of school traditions - and it is immediately clear that there is nothing provocative or irritating in bright colors and the combination of several rich shades at once:

Here are some very careful experiments with bright colors from Fendi- small but refreshing details:

Teenage girls in schools are usually asked only one thing: not to dress vulgarly or provocatively. What ease is combined with good taste shows Ralph Lauren. Your grown daughters would love these short skirts, denim jackets, knitted sweater dresses, bright jackets, high socks, ties and scarves:

You may wonder whether it makes sense to look at photos of clothes that few people can buy for their children. In fact, once you imagine your child dressed like in the photo above, you can easily find similar (and maybe even more interesting) clothes in the collections of popular brands.

For example, look at the gallery Monnalisa- all the same fashionable ideas.

Getting your child ready for school is not an easy task. You must not forget about textbooks, notebooks, pencils. But the student uniform comes first. How much does it cost to dress a child for school in 2016?

When it comes to student uniforms, schools are divided into two types: an educational institution where uniforms of a certain type are sewn, and a school where parents must prepare their child themselves and prepare not only textbooks, but also a uniform.

Let's look at the second option, since if the school sews its own uniform to order, the price can be completely different.

  • How to inexpensively dress a child for school?

Let us immediately note that in our article we are considering the prices of a children’s clothing store in the capital. If the uniform is bought on the market or in the regions, then the final price of a set of clothes will be 2-3 thousand rubles lower.

Another way to economically dress your child for school is to make purchases in online stores, monitoring promotions and discounts. Promotional codes from Gdekod.ru and other similar services that provide substantial discounts in children's clothing stores can be useful.

You can save money - you probably have friends and acquaintances who treat you well sewing machine. All you have to do is buy the right fabric - and voila! A few thousand rubles will never leave your pocket. When buying a uniform, you should not rush; you need to go around several stores and choose the one where price and quality are in a good ratio.

    Dressing a girl for school

    Option #1

A school uniform for a girl usually includes:

    • Sundress
    • Blouse for celebration
    • Long sleeve blouse
    • Tights

A sundress costs about 1800-2000 rubles. Blouses with long sleeves (and you need to buy a pair of them) will cost 1300-1400 rubles apiece. A blouse with short sleeves will cost 1100-1200 rubles, and blouses for a celebration (it is also preferable to buy two of them) will cost 1400-1600 rubles per one. Tights (and you need at least five pairs of them for the school year) will cost 250-270 rubles per pair.

If you add everything up, you get an amount approximately equal to 8150-10550 rubles. But clothes are needed not only for classes. For physical education, you also need to buy a sports suit. It will cost:

    • Suit – 1700-1900 rubles
    • A pair of T-shirts – 700-800 rubles
    • Sneakers – 600-800 rubles.

As a result, the amount for purchasing a sports suit is 3000-3500 rubles.

    Option No. 2

    • Sundress 1300-1500 rubles
    • Blouse with long sleeves 1500 rubles
    • Blouse with short sleeves (2 pieces) 1000-1200
    • Turtleneck 1700-1900 rubles

The total cost is 6500-7300. If you add tights to the set, you can add about another thousand rubles.

    Boy's uniform

    Option #1

The simplest type of training suit consists of:

    • Pants (it is advisable to purchase a pair)
    • Vest
    • Jumper
    • Shirt (you need to purchase at least three of them for the academic year)
    • Boots

Now let's calculate the cost. Two pairs of trousers will cost 1900-2000 rubles, a vest can be found for 500-700 rubles, a jumper will cost about 600-800 rubles, three shirts will cost 1500-1800 rubles, and for boots you will have to pay 2700-3000 rubles.

The total cost is 7200-8300 rubles.

The amount that you will have to pay for a set of clothes for physical education will be approximately the same as for girls: about 3000-3500 rubles.

    Option No. 2

A three-piece suit is the standard of style even for children. It looks very rich, but also costs more than the previous version.

A suit will cost 3300-4000 rubles, shirts (of which you need at least five pieces) for 500-700 rubles, a tie 300-600 rubles. The boots will cost about 2700-3000 rubles. The total is 8800-11100 rubles. Yes, it’s an expensive option, but the child will look his best.

For high school students, you can add a couple of thousand rubles to the final cost - this is exactly the price of clothes for the school year.

Now you know approximately how much it costs to dress a child for school in a store in the capital, and you can plan your family budget taking these expenses into account.

On the eve of the new school year, Rospotrebnadzor published recommendations for parents on choosing a school uniform for their children. According to department experts, it is better to avoid clothes designed for growth, as well as bright colors. Special attention It is worth paying attention to the composition of the fiber, its smell and compliance with the necessary requirements. How to properly dress a child for school and how much it will cost - in the material “360”.

    What to buy?

On the eve of the new school year, it is worth stocking up on several sets of school uniforms. Boys should have them in their wardrobe classic trousers and a few spare shirts. Outerwear Not only jackets, but also sleeveless vests can serve. In the autumn-winter period, you should give preference to warm clothes, such as turtlenecks and sweaters.

A schoolgirl's wardrobe can consist not only of skirts and blouses, but also classic dresses or sundresses. For the cold season, parents of girls should buy jackets and trouser suits.

    We approach with full responsibility

It is recommended to avoid purchasing items labeled “dry cleaning” and pay attention to their smell. In the warm season, you should give preference to linen and cotton, in winter - cashmere. The maximum percentage of synthetic fibers should not exceed 35% for blouses and shirts and 55% for suits.

To ensure that the child’s movements are not constrained and his body temperature does not exceed the norm, you should carefully select the size of clothing. It is better to avoid too bright colors of school uniforms, giving preference to a restrained color scheme. When buying things, you should not rely only on information from labels - it is better to ask the store for documents from the manufacturer.

Rospotrebnadzor draws special attention to the fact that an incorrectly selected school uniform can lead not only to colds, but also to skin diseases, such as atopic dermatitis.

We take into account the child’s opinion

The child's parents should ensure that the school uniform fits the child. For plump and short boys, Rospotrebnadzor experts recommend choosing jackets with two buttons. For slender and tall people, on the contrary, there should be as many buttons as possible.

It’s not worth buying a uniform for growth, but to diversify appearance For schoolchildren, it is better to buy several sets of clothes at once.

The child’s taste requirements should also be taken into account - when choosing things, you should not focus only on their quality and color scheme.

It all depends on taste and the thickness of the wallet

Despite the wide variety, choosing a school uniform for a child is quite problematic, Irina Volynets, chairman of the central council of the National Parents Committee, told “360”. On the eve of the new school year, parents may face absence required sizes, poor quality things or inappropriate styles.

Often, school management insists that uniforms must be sewn according to a certain style and they are sewn individually by organizations friendly to the school management. Parents are required to order this uniform from private studios. But in this case, the question arises to what extent this form of non-factory production meets all the necessary requirements.

    Irina Volynets.

Parents should pay attention not only to the appearance of the uniform, but also to the naturalness of its fiber and the quality of tailoring. “If the material is natural, then the clothes wear out quickly. Ideally, the ratio of artificial material to natural is 30:60,” Volynets explained. The cost of a school uniform can be either one thousand or ten thousand rubles - depending on the capabilities of the parents.

A school uniform can be bought from one and a half to five to six thousand rubles. But you can spend two or three thousand [rubles - approx.] to buy a school dress... If it’s an ordinary cotton shirt, then you can spend a thousand rubles, and if it’s a designer shirt, then ten thousand. It depends on the taste and thickness of the parents' wallet

    Irina Volynets.

The choice of school uniform should be taken as responsibly as possible. Do not forget that it is at school that the child spends most of his time, so it is better to think through every detail. “Tights, for example, are not among the official requirements, but there are synthetically unsuitable products in which a girl may feel uncomfortable,” Volynets said.

When asked where is the best place to pack a child’s wardrobe for school, I would answer: “Everywhere.” That's the truth. Shopping centers, any hypermarkets, state department stores, branded stores of light industry enterprises - “school” hangs everywhere. It’s easier for me to name places where it is not: vegetable rows on Komarovka, the Uruchye construction market and the car market in Malinovka.

Besides that school clothes there is a lot, which is why there is no point in going somewhere special for it, since it is also repeated from store to store. By prices, range, styles and even manufacturers. For example, a school blouse for a girl of primary school age will cost approximately 40 rubles everywhere, closed formal leather shoes - 40-50 rubles, a skirt - 25-40 rubles, white tights - 3-4 rubles.

The upper number is the price under the discount program, and the lower number is when purchasing under normal conditions:

Loved this plaid suit for high school girls. Outside of school, it can also be used stylishly - with sweatshirts, bomber jackets, coats, sneakers or loafers, a backpack:

And this is MINIMAX, a low-price store. I wouldn’t say that the prices here are significantly lower than in other stores:

SO WHERE IS IT MORE PROFITABLE?

And although I said that everything is approximately the same everywhere, I will tell you where it is still a little cheaper. And how and for how long I collected my child. I have a girl, 7 years old, second grade.

    BLOUSES

This is surprising to me, but I bought school shirts from. Surprising because I don't like KARI. But accidentally taking a shortcut through their store, which had two through exits, my gaze fell on a stand with school uniforms. By that time, I was already fed up with ruffles, bows, wedding guipure and the fashion of Victorian England on school uniforms in other stores. But I needed an ordinary one white shirt under the mandatory vest in our school. I didn't expect to buy it here. One simple shirt with short sleeves, and one of the same, but with long sleeves.

The collection was last year, so there was a discount on it and the final price was 15 rubles. It's the same for boys.

Composition: cotton/PE in a 50/50 ratio. It feels like 90% cotton, doesn't slip or squeak. By the way, this is the second year I’ve noticed that fabric blouses are often good composition on the tag they turn out to be very unpleasant to the touch, like the fabric of an umbrella. And with a large composition of artificial fibers, the opposite is true.

So, two fabric blouses cost me 30 rubles. This is what they look like on my child:

    There were also these:

    JUMPERS

I took blouses for important occasions - standing on the line, sitting in the classroom during open lessons, jumping around the Christmas tree on New Year and in at its best receive flowers from boys on March 8th. I don’t put fabric blouses on my children anymore. Instead, there are white and black-and-white knitted jumpers, which are convenient for hanging from a tree during recess and which can be easily taken off and put on in after-school hours without the help of an adult. They are produced in huge quantities for the school season. And all of a very strange design and not at all business style.

I bought it last year and liked it. Although I chose not by manufacturer, but by design. This year I liked the designs of other companies. Although, it would be more correct to say that he was least irritating. These are jumpers from Belarusian enterprises: “Golden Fashion”, Brest, “Cotton Company”, Brest, “Yunona”, Molodechno.

All have a composition of 92-96% cotton, the rest is elastane. Prices: 15-18 rubles each minus 20% TSUM discount. The same prices (without discount) for them in other stores. I usually take 5 jumpers so I can throw them all in the wash at the end of the week. This amount is enough for the entire school year, taking into account that my child does not change clothes during afterschool. Total: 5 jumpers at a department store discount cost me 70 rubles.

    CUSTOMIZATION

On the day when I bought jumpers, I could not find the models I liked for a height of 120 cm. Therefore, I took one for 128, knowing that at TsUM until September 5 you can have your school uniform purchased from them adjusted for free: shorten and taper trousers, jacket, blouses , skirts. The only problem turned out to be that this does not apply knitwear: They don't have the equipment for this. I don’t know what to do with long sleeves now. I'll think about it sometime later. In any case, for me, a person who knows how to sew even a jacket, adding sleeves to a jumper is not a problem. Just lazy.

    SKIRT

I planned to take it, just like last year. I like their school uniforms, but they are plain, dark blue and black, with or without ruffles. For what exactly – read below, section “KALINKA” SCHOOL UNIFORM IN OPERATION. I didn’t like that this season they made a lot of skirts with elastic instead of a belt. I understand that sewing on an elastic band is faster and cheaper than sewing a belt and inserting an elastic band inside, but it looks ugly. Knitted inserts on fabric skirts, which differ in texture and shade from the fabric parts, also look ugly. Therefore, there was a feeling that the child’s skirt had slipped down and his black knitted panties were sticking out. I was able to find only one model in which they successfully combined knitwear and fabric in tone and texture. I bought it. This is a model made of viscose and PA, with lining. Price – 26 rubles minus 20% if purchased on Discount Day. I am very pleased that there is no zipper or buttons, only elastic sewn on the inside.

    SCHOOL UNIFORM "KALINKA" IN USE

When I reviewed the school uniform a year ago and wrote that I had chosen Kalinka, someone commented under the review that the uniform fades, stains blouses, something sticks to it, and is generally dismal in use. All year my daughter wore a dark blue sundress and a black skirt from Kalinka. There were no problems at all. Only the button on the back of the skirt was frayed from shuffling against the back of the chair and the fabric on the sundress became a little shiny in the same place, an area of centimeter by centimeter, where there was a tighter seam.

I really liked that I didn’t have to iron either one. I washed it in the washing machine, hung it up, and put it on in the morning. The corrugation does not flatten when sitting on it. It was also important for me to have a stretchy belt on the skirt so that it wouldn’t put pressure on the child’s stomach when sitting, especially after lunch. That’s why I liked that an elastic band was inserted into the waistband of our last year’s skirt, allowing it to stretch by 2 cm. And of course, I didn’t have anything stained anywhere. Neither white blouses nor white jumpers. Therefore, this year I purposefully watched Kalinka.

    SHOES

The best deals were school shoes at Megatop, where I bought Obba sandals to wear in class and closed Shuzzi shoes to wear on the line. Because they had a promotion - the second product -70% (now -30%). In total, two pairs cost me 49 rubles.

The composition of Obba sandals is leatherette on top, lining is made of genuine leather. Shuzzi shoes – Genuine Leather inside, outside faux suede. I needed the latter only for special occasions when a strict dress code is required. On other days, my child wears closed Marko shoes, with a wide toe and made entirely of genuine leather.

These are shoes at Shagovita, the prices for these shoes are about 50 rubles:

Just below are similar models in KARRI:

    WHITE UNDER T-SHIRT

It would seem like a small thing, but you can’t wear anything else under blouses. One way or another, colored cars or flowers will show through. I once bought excellent quality and price from TVOE. Now I would probably take a closer look at ESLI in MINIMAX. In addition, every fifth T-shirt will be free.

    SPORTS UNIT

I also recommend watching ESLI, and for older children - “March 8”, “TVOE” and Oodji. If you need cotton and low price. And so it hangs everywhere, in any hypermarket and shopping center all year round. If you want “March 8”, you want NIKE.

    SPORTS SHOES

I have bought and will continue to buy fabric ones from the Lida Shoe Factory or NEMAN factories. They cost 22 rubles. They do not have a non-breathable lining under the fabric, have a wide toe box and a Velcro closure. The design can be found decent and even quite fashionable. But whiners and bores never find it. Because not only people, but also sneakers don’t like whiners, hiding from them wherever possible.

And this is in MINIMAX. The design is OK, but inside there is the same “non-breathable” padding that all shoemakers make so that it keeps the shape of the shoe.

    BOWS

Our school requires them, it’s part of the dress code for special occasions. I bought mine as a ribbon in the sewing department. But today I would buy a ready-made bow. I get nervous while I’m tying it: it’s slippery, and while you’re tying one knot, another one is coming undone. And when you do tie it, it’s still ugly. It's better to buy ready-made and pin it.

    TIGHTS

Nowadays there are a lot of nylon tights in black, nude and white for children. Price – 2-5 rubles. On discount days you can buy cheaper in state department stores. They are also available in EUROSHOP - stores with one price. There these cost two forty:

But plain cotton tights are not so easy to find. But in MINIMAX - take it out in buckets. White, flesh-colored, blue, blue, pink, black. There, every fifth item in the receipt is free. I took white ones last year. I can’t say how they feel to wear, as they’ve only been worn a couple of times on the line. But I like their cotton socks; they haven’t had a single fray all summer. Also, by the way, monochromatic.

    TOTAL

A blouse with short sleeves – 15 rubles, a blouse with long sleeves – 15 rubles, five black and white knitted jumpers – 70 rubles, a skirt – 20 rubles, two pairs of shoes – 49 rubles, sneakers – 20 rubles, five pairs of tights – 12 rubles. My prices were as follows taking into account the discounts and promotions that I talked about above. The backpack was left over from last year's Galanteya.

Choosing clothes for school brings a lot of worries to parents. How to dress a child for school? When making a choice, you need to answer 3 questions: is the clothes comfortable for him, is it appropriate for his age and school, and how does it affect his studies.

What to wear to school: fashionable and practical

    What to wear to school?

Pay attention to the quality of the fabrics: they should be natural, have no more than 50% synthetics, so that the skin can breathe and regulate heat transfer.

You can understand what to wear to school based on three principles:

    • neatness;
    • convenience;
    • social environment.

Clothes must be clean and tidy. Think about what things your child will be comfortable in: they should not hinder movement, press or retain moisture on the body.

For girls, the best solution would be dresses, a combination of a skirt and a blouse. It is better to avoid trousers, and especially jeans, so that young schoolgirls feel like little ladies. The optimal length of the skirt is knee-length or slightly higher. For an everyday set, it is better to choose tight tights that match the suit or are a little lighter.

For boys, a casual set can be made up of trousers, a shirt, a jacket or a cardigan; such things are more practical, convenient and easier to care for than a classic suit.

It is best to take clothes in calm, dark tones so that they do not get boring during the day

Shoes should have a slight heel, but not flat soles: this can lead to flat feet. Do not give your child a pair to grow into and make sure that he does not wear shoes that are too tight; this harms the development of the foot and can cause deformation.

Instill in your children a sense of style and self-confidence. Let them know that clothes are not a criterion for judging people, this will help them learn humanity.

Do you need to dress your child fashionably for school?

When deciding on clothing, focus on the contingent educational institution. You shouldn’t dress your child too expensively if your peers don’t match your financial status. Avoid expensive accessories and jewelry.

You can prefer high-quality expensive fabrics, but look on par with the rest. Otherwise, superiority will affect self-esteem; the child may begin to disdain those who do not have the opportunity to dress like him.
