Christmas tree made of corrugated paper
This card will be voluminous, so if you want to write a message inside to a loved one, we advise you to do this in advance.
To make this card you will need:
- Thick A4 paper or colored cardboard, preferably red or orange;
- A few centimeters of corrugated green paper;
- Scissors;
- Glue or double-sided tape;
- Decorations (sequins, rhinestones, beads);
- Pencil.
Step 1. First of all, you need to make a rough sketch of our Christmas tree. To start, take some cardboard and fold it in half. This is the standard size of postcards, which allows them to be made almost the same as in the store. On one of the halves you should draw the silhouette of a Christmas tree with thin, barely noticeable lines.
Step 2. Take corrugated paper and cut it into strips one and a half centimeters high. The length of the stripes depends on how much volume you want to give to the New Year's tree. Don't forget that they should all be of different lengths to follow the outline of the tree, so try to do them near the stripes different lengths: from longest to shortest.
Step 3. After that, start gluing the strips into place. It is best to start from the bottom, gradually securing each layer. You should be guided by the markings made in pencil and glue the strips, gathering them a little, as shown in the photo. If you do everything correctly, the Christmas tree will look very realistic in appearance.
Step 4. Having finished the main work, decorate your beauty. Any decorations you find can be used. It’s great if you have a small star in stock - you can attach it to the top. Small beads can be used to make a garland, and rhinestones can be used to make sparkling lights. Come up with kind words of wishes addressed to the recipient in advance, and then the craft will bring even more joy.
Christmas tree in scrapbooking style
This option also involves writing or printing your wishes in advance. Think about the words that you would like to say to a loved one, design them in an original way and paste them into the middle of the card.
To make a postcard in scrapbooking style you will need:
- Thick colored cardboard (you can take it with an ornament);
- Stationery scissors;
- Double-sided tape or PVA glue;
- Various items for decoration;
- Scrap paper;
- Objects that would look like a pencil or a small diameter tube.
Step 1. The scrapbooking technique is actually quite easy and even a child can do it. First, you must decide on the size of the future tree. Most a good option there will be a tree located across the entire size of our postcard. Once you decide on the size, take your scrapbooking paper and cut it into small rectangles of varying widths.
Step 2. Now you should roll the paper into a cylinder. To make it without dents, use a straw or a pencil. Roll the paper in the direction of its width, periodically brushing inner side glue so that the cylinders do not turn around. Having screwed up a sufficient amount paper straws, glue them to each other, assembling the structure of a Christmas tree or triangle.
Step 3. While our craft is drying, we should work on the base. Fold the cardboard in half, glue the wishes inside, and sign below. After the tube tree has dried, it needs to be glued to the outside of the cardboard. Carefully coat the surface with glue and attach the craft. Let dry.
Step 4. The next step is decoration. Any interesting thing can turn out to be: bright buttons, ribbons, rivets, rhinestones, beads, etc. It is advisable to glue each decorative element with a glue gun - this will allow them to last longer.
Postcards with Santa Claus
The theme of Christmas cards doesn't stop at Christmas trees. You can create anything, the main thing is that your crafts have something to do with the New Year. A great addition to a gift would be a postcard with a picture of Father Frost or Santa Claus.
Postcard “Santa Claus”
To make a postcard “Santa Claus” You will need:
- Scissors;
- Glue;
- Colored pencils;
- Colored cardboard and paper;
- Elements for decor.
Step 1. For this craft, you need to find the good-natured face of Santa Claus, print and cut it out. People who know how to draw beautifully will create the face of Santa Claus themselves. Paint some parts of the face (cheeks, eyes, hat).

To make an unusual postcardYou will need:
- Cardboard;
- Colored paper;
- Thin felt (blue and white);
- Beads for decoration;
- Bright ribbon;
- Scissors;
- PVA glue and glue gun.
Step 1. Fold a piece of cardboard in half however you like. Glue blue felt to the front side, then make a circle of small diameter in the right corner. You can glue multi-colored paper inside to make the card look more festive.
Step 2.“Plant” beads along the edges of the round hole using a glue gun (seen in the photo), and then cut out a small Christmas tree from white felt, which will also need to be glued to the card with beads.
Step 3. Now make a strip of fabric from the remaining white felt - write or embroider the inscription “Happy New Year” on it. And glue it to the front side. Decorate with beads.
Step 4. The final touch is a ribbon with a small bow. Attach it from the “ball” up so that it looks like a New Year’s toy. The postcard is ready!

Do-it-yourself voluminous New Year's card. To make such a voluminous card with a Christmas tree for the New Year, you will need three square sheets of green paper: large, medium and small. Also, in order to make a Christmas tree trunk, you will need a rectangular sheet of brown paper.
Fold each square piece of paper in half first (horizontally and vertically) to mark the center lines. Then fold them two more times diagonally. After this, fold each sheet into a pyramid (see photos 3 and 4). Glue a Christmas tree from the resulting pyramids by inserting them into each other. Option 4.
Do-it-yourself voluminous postcard for the New Year. Making this voluminous paper card is much easier than it might seem at first glance. First you will need to cut out 5 halves of circles of different sizes from green paper: large, smaller, even smaller, etc. Fold each half of the circle in half, then in half again, and in half again. Unfold each piece and form accordion folds (see photo).
Now insert one piece into another and glue them together along the three central folds.
For the trunk, cut out a rectangle from brown paper and also fold it like an accordion.
Glue your paper Christmas tree onto the card base. The easiest way to make snowflakes is from white paper using a hole punch or by drawing cotton swab.

Very beautiful New Year's craft with your own hands, accessible in complexity to a preschooler - a voluminous New Year's card "Christmas tree". Print a stencil on a piece of green origami paper. Make cuts along the lines on it. Where the trunk of the Christmas tree is located, cut out a piece of paper completely. If you fold a sheet of paper in half before making cuts, you can cut it with scissors. In this case, even a preschooler will be able to make a postcard. If you want to avoid a fold in the center of the card, then it is better to make cuts with a special knife for cutting paper. Now all you have to do is fold the corners back and stick your workpiece onto the cardboard.

This card requires 4 or 3 layers of cardboard (you can do without the red one). You can use paper rather than cardboard as a color layer. In the top, white one, cut out a Christmas tree (a stationery knife will do this well) and glue it with double-sided tape for volume.

Wonderful watercolor so in the spirit of New Year and Christmas! A simple watercolor sketch can be done by anyone, even those who last painted in school years. First, you need to outline the patterns with a pencil, color them, and when dry, carefully erase the pencil sketches and complete the patterns with a felt-tip pen.
Winter landscape

Balls are one of the main symbols of the New Year and Christmas. These are made from velvety colored paper and ribbon. But the balls are so win-win, what can you allow yourself to fantasize about: make balls from paper with a pattern, wrapping paper, fabric, lace, cut from a newspaper or a glossy magazine. And you can simply draw the strings.
Another option is to stick patterned paper onto inner part cards, and cut circles on the outside with a sharp stationery knife.
Volumetric balls
For each of these balls you will need 3-4 identical circles of different colors. Fold each one in half and glue the halves to each other, and the two outer halves to the paper. Another option is colored stars or Christmas trees.
Multi-colored balls
