33r. I tie a green thread and knit the required length of the stem without decreases or increases; after 6-7 rows of knitting with green thread, you can decrease 2 loops, i.e. knit 2 loops together 2 times

I made 9 leaves for each flower, but in principle it’s possible to have fewer, since half the stem of the flower is in the vase

The long loops themselves, if anyone doesn’t know, I’ll try to explain, I combined two patterns, i.e. I didn’t use a stick, but simply pulled the thread.

I also forgot about the leaves under the flower; I knit them according to this pattern, but first I cast on a chain of 12 loops, and then 2 stitches in each loop. b\n and I tie the last 4th row with half-columns.

A beautiful crocheted chrysanthemum can serve as a brooch or simply decorate the interior.

You will need:

YarnArt Tulip and hook 1.3.

The flower consists of 4 tiers. Each one starts with a circle, worked into a sc; petals are knitted along the edge using the Tunisian technique (one petal - one row). The finished part with petals is tied around the perimeter of the stbn with wire. First tier 6-12; 6 petals 10 vp high. Second tier 6-12-18; 9 petals 11 vp high. Third row 6-12-18-24; 12 petals 12 vp high. Fourth tier 6-12-18-24-30; 15 petals 13 vp high. The diameter of the flower is approximately 8 cm.

Answers to questions:
What is "First tier 6-12"?
Number of columns in circular rows. The initial row is made of six single crochet stitches (the initial row stitches are usually knitted in a sliding loop, the so-called “amigurumi loop”). In the next row, knit two stitches in each loop. It turns out to be a small circle, along the edge of which the petals are evenly knitted. As a rule, I knit a stitch using both half-loops. There are simply four separate tiers.
After knitting the last (in this case, the only) Tunisian row, go down to the base of the petal with connecting posts. We insert the hook into the nearest Tunisian post from right to left, grab the thread, pull it through the post and through the loop on the hook. One connecting post is ready. In short, proceed in the same way as when casting off the final row when knitting.

Join our groups - there is even more interesting stuff:

I apply the wire to the edge of the part and knit the next row with regular single crochets. The wire turns out to be “hidden” inside the loops. Here is a large image (though this is not a petal, but a leaf):

A voluminous and very delicate flower with a smooth transition of shades, from the light center to the dark petals of the outer circle. The pale yellow center is embroidered with beads, which adds sparkle to the decoration. Flower diameter is approximately 7 cm.

The source of inspiration is late autumn flowers.

For knitting, 2 balls of “Iris” (Gamma) were needed. Light gray and melange gray-lilac. This is a very thin yarn, so it was used in 2 plies. Cotton "Daffodil" in three colors (violet-lilac, pale yellow and green) in one fold, silver elastic band and 1.3 mm hook. Well, some more beads of a delicate lilac shade for decoration.

Operating procedure:

1. Knit the bottom of the center in pale yellow, then the top (4 rows). All this is in a spiral. Moreover, we knit the top columns to the bottom wall of the bottom row columns, because we will later tie the petals to the top one. We put both parts together and connect them to each other in the 5th row (also behind the bottom wall!). Without finishing this fifth row, fill the middle with filler (sentipon or cotton wool), and it will gain volume. After this we will complete the fifth row. The center is ready.

2. Using light gray yarn in 2 folds, we knit 2 circles of petals according to the pattern. One will smoothly “flow” into the other, since the center is connected in a spiral. First, the upper circle (behind the outer wall of the columns of the third row of the center), then the lower circle of gray petals behind the outer wall of the columns of the fourth row of the center). The upper petals are shorter than the lower ones! Now is the time to thoroughly smooth and steam the petals, because this will be more difficult to do later.

3. Continue tying the yellow center with melange yarn in two folds according to the pattern. The petals of both circles are knitted according to the same pattern. But the top row is behind the outer wall of the columns of the fifth row of the yellow center, and the bottom row is behind the inner wall. Smooth out and steam the petals on both sides.

4. We move on to knitting dark petals. To do this, according to the pattern, we knit a circle in a spiral, from 3 rows, capturing the lower wall of the columns as before. Then we knit the petals. The upper circle of petals is behind the outer wall of the columns of the 2nd row, the bottom circle is behind the columns of the 3rd row (already behind both walls). Smooth out and steam what happens on both sides.

5. We will knit the leaves and the backing according to the diagrams below. Steam on both sides.

The long loops themselves, if anyone doesn’t know, I’ll try to explain, I combined two drawings, i.e. I didn’t use a stick, but simply pulled the thread as in the drawing with knitting needles

In general, don’t judge strictly, this is the first time I’m describing the process of what I did, if anything is not clear, write, and if something is wrong, correct it
I also forgot about the leaves under the flower; I knit them according to this pattern, but first I cast on a chain of 12 loops, and then 2 stitches in each loop. b\n and I tie the last 4th row with half-columns. I hope you understand me

Maybe someone will like it and want to knit these for themselves
I knitted these flowers for my beloved sister
The flower itself is made in a circle with elongated long loops. The flower column is made in a circle with single crochets, and the leaf is in the style of Irish lace.
