INTRODUCTION

Rationale:In my free time, I like to do handicrafts: draw, sculpt, glue appliqués. I like to do something with my own hands, to create something new and unusual. I really love giving gifts that I made myself to my family and friends for various holidays. And so I decided to try to make gifts from various materials with my own hands.

Purpose of the work:Make gifts from various types of handicrafts with your own hands.

Project objectives:Try new types of needlework when making gifts.

Significance:Firstly, with your own hands

the gift given will cost me much less. Secondly, creative work perfectly calms the nerves and relieves stress. Third, in the process I will receive

great pleasure from work.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Gift history -goes back to ancient times. It is quite obvious that in ancient times gifts had more practical meaning than emotional, but still it is a manifestation of care and love.

Gifts could be very diverse and unusual: herbs, flowers, fruits, vegetables, berries, animals and even people.

What is a gift?

A gift is a thing that the giver, of his own free will, presents for full possession for the purpose of bringing pleasure and benefit to the recipient of the gift.

PAPER FLOWERS

M OH, WARM AND SUMMER IS SOON

IN EVERYTHING IS GREEN AND EVERYONE IS DRESSED

WITH FIRE FOUNTAIN

R THE TULIP IS HIDDEN.

Paper is the most popular material for making flowers. Colored or corrugated paper is widely used in handicrafts. Almost all types of flowers can be made from it: roses, tulips, daisies and many others.

Paper flowers can be used to decorate a postcard, photo frame, gift box, or various compositions. Festive tables and banquet halls are decorated with paper flowers. A bouquet of flowers or a floral arrangement will be an excellent birthday gift for Teacher's Day or March 8th.

CROCHETED FLOWERS.

I ASK YOU:

P ENVY ME –

K AKTUS BLOOMED

ON MY WINDOW.

I AM A RED FLOWER

X RABRO IS BURNING

M EATING SHARP PINS.

Crocheted flowers will not leave anyone indifferent. There are never too many of them; knitted flowers can decorate clothes or shoes, a hat or scarf, and can also serve as decoration for the interior of a house. Using a hook and a small amount of bright yarn, you can knit a bouquet of roses or a cactus in a pot, which you can give to your beloved grandmother or mother. Unlike fresh flowers that need to be watered, knitted ones will delight you and your loved ones for a long time.

WAX FLOWERS

N AND IT GROWS IN THE BUSHES IN THE GARDEN,
Z APAH IS SWEET, LIKE HONEY.

N
OH TEARS ARE OFTEN FLOWS
THE ONE WHO RIPS THEM.

THESE ARE ROSES.

Wax flowers are an absolutely amazing way to make flowers. Wax is an amazing material, it is very easy to use, a natural and non-toxic beekeeping product. Working with him is very pleasant and easy. Candles in the shape of a rose will be a worthy decoration for a gift. Wax flowers will look original both in the bathroom and on the holiday table.

FLOWERS FROM PLASTIC

A bouquet of beautiful tender roses,

I brought you as a gift,

May you be beautiful

Like these cute flowers.

Plastic is a malleable and easy-to-handle material, and it’s almost free. Handmade flowers from plastic bottles are weightless beauty. Flowers can remain in an open area for a long time without losing their decorative appearance, because plastic is not afraid of rain, sun or wind. Using plastic flowers you can decorate your yard, playground, gazebo or garden. You can also give a bouquet of exquisite flowers for a birthday or on March 8th to close relatives.

COLD PORCELAIN FLOWERS

I saw a miracle in the pot

And I could only say:

Who guessed all the flowers

Turn it inside out here?!

Cold porcelain is a special mixture of corn starch, glue, oil and glycerin. This is perhaps the cheapest, very convenient and completely harmless material for modeling. It is incredibly flexible and easy to use; you can buy it or prepare it at home.

Unlike plasticine, “cold porcelain” becomes hard when it hardens, which is a definite plus.

Flowers made from cold porcelain cannot be distinguished from real flowers.

Flowers have always been considered a gift from the heart, which can be given not only for a holiday, but also just like that - out of great love.

FLOWERS USED WITH QUILING TECHNIQUE

Look, look,

What is this red light?

This is a wild carnation

Hot is celebrating the day.

And when evening comes,

The flower will fold its petals,

“Until the morning! Until we meet again!” -

And the light will go out.

Flower quilling is a very popular trend in the paper rolling technique, since with their help you can not just beautifully, but very effectively decorate gift wrapping, a box, a casket, a photo frame or a holiday card.

The technique itself is quite simple, but it requires patience, perseverance, and accuracy, but the result is worth it, and the bouquet will be a wonderful gift.

FLOWERS FROM SALT DOUGH

The bucket has a long spout,

Water flows like rain.

All the flowers want to get drunk

Everyone asks her pitifully:

The field will hurry us up,

Dear watering can.

Flowers are beautiful creations of nature, and how beautiful are flowers made from salt dough.

Salt dough is becoming increasingly popular for modeling because it is a natural, environmentally friendly material; you can make various beautiful products from it using dough instead of polymer clay or plasticine.

Crafts made from salt dough are a very useful and exciting form of creativity, as well as an unusual gift.

Crafts made from salt dough are impossible without flowers.

TOPIARY

Topiary - what word?

Topiary - what a motif!

Under a colorful lampshade

Man-made happiness costs...

T opiary is a small composition in the form of a small tree with a geometric crown, it is also called the “tree of happiness.”

For making, you can use absolutely anything: paper (paper napkins, cut out flowers, corrugated paper), cold porcelain flowers, ribbons, beads and many other natural materials.

Topiary will perfectly decorate the interior and give a good mood, which will also be an appropriate gift for almost every holiday.

Flowers have always attracted human attention. Since ancient times, people have sought to extend their life by creating durable decorative compositions.

Sequins are an amazing material; on the one hand, the threading technique is somewhat similar to beading, and on the other hand, it has its own nuances.

Mastering the technique of weaving with sequins is not difficult - it is accessible to people of almost all ages.

You can make a charming bouquet with your own hands in a few hours, which can be presented on March 8th to your mother, grandmother or sister.

CONCLUSION

I believe that the goal of my project has been achieved, I have tried some types of needlework in my works.

I received great satisfaction and energy from the work completed, although it was not easy, but very interesting and educational.

I think that my friends and family will like my gifts.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and

Relevance of the selected topic

Each of us loves to receive gifts, but giving gifts is even nicer. When thinking about what to give to our loved ones, we try to guess their wishes and put our soul into the gift. Such gifts last a lifetime! There is a holiday coming up in our family - Grandma's birthday. I want to give her something unusual that you can’t buy in a store. Our teacher always says that the best gift is a gift made with your own hands! In class we always try to make crafts for various holidays and give them to our loved ones. And I would like to come up with my own original, beautiful, unforgettable gift for my grandmother. I know that she loves flowers very much, but unfortunately, fresh flowers do not please the eye for very long. From early childhood I observed my mother’s hobby; she creates very beautiful flower arrangements. I have always been happy to help her, and now I decided to start making an original and beautiful flower arrangement myself, using arts and crafts techniques.

Object of study - a handmade gift.

Subject of research– technology for making flower arrangements.

Hypothesis: I assumed that I could make an original gift with my own hands, which would bring joy and pleasure to my grandmother no less than a gift bought with money.

Project goal: make an original gift for your grandmother with your own hands.

Tasks:

  1. Study various sources of information in order to choose a gift;
  2. Learn the technique of making roses from satin ribbon;
  3. Make an original gift with your own hands.

Research methods:

  • analytical survey of classmates;
  • studying various sources of information;
  • analysis and synthesis of information;
  • modeling crafts and practical work.

Project stages:

  1. Informational (survey, search for information on the project topic).
  2. Technological (modeling, practical work on making crafts, creating technological maps).
  3. Generalization of activities, conclusions.
  4. Presentation of performance results.

Practical valueThe work lies in the fact that the developed technological maps for the manufacture of products and visual material on the topic can be used by students for independent creativity, as well as in technology lessons, classes in an arts and crafts group.This product can be used as a gift to loved ones; it goes well with any interior design.

Type of work - a creative project.

Main part

Theoretical information

Art is a sphere of spiritual and practical activity of people, which is aimed at artistic comprehension and mastery of the world. It is designed to satisfy the universal human need, to recreate the surrounding reality in developed forms of human sensuality.
In the process of further division and improvement of labor, art began to be understood as creative activity aimed at transforming the surrounding world and man “according to the laws of beauty.” Here, too, skill is of decisive importance, but aimed at realizing the internal laws of the structure of the created works. Art is a social phenomenon. It participates in the social transformation of society, having an aesthetic impact on the individual. The very process of creativity in art accumulates impressions, events and facts taken from reality.

When creating beautiful objects, the aesthetic qualities of materials are taken into account based on existing ideas and practical experience acquired in the classroom. In the process of work, visual memory, imaginative thinking, and aesthetic taste develop.

Decorative and applied art is the field of decorative art: the creation of artistic products that have a practical purpose in everyday life and are distinguished by decorative imagery (dishes, furniture, fabrics, clothing, jewelry, toys, etc.). All objects surrounding a person should not only be comfortable and practical, but also beautiful. The object must be expressive as a whole - in its design, proportions, details, as well as in decoration.Man strives to decorate his surrounding world. He decorates household items, housing, and habitats with patterns. The design of objects belongs to a separate type of art, which is called decorative. So, decorative and applied art is a type of fine art, the works of which combine artistic and practical properties. The word applied means that things have practical uses. The word decorative comes from the Latin decorare - to decorate.

Economic and environmental justification.

  1. Similar products made using similar technology can be purchased for an amount from 1000 to 1800 rubles. I spent 315-345 rubles on the production of my products. I think this is a good price for this type of work.
  2. My work is original, you won’t find another flower arrangement like this anywhere!
  3. Environmental assessment: My product is made of environmentally friendly materials and does not pose any danger to the environment.

Self-assessment of work performed:

I think the project was a success because:

  1. Made a great holiday gift for grandma;

Justification for the problem I have very much like making gifts with my own hands, and if it works out well, I can give them to my family. When I come to the store, I see a lot of things on the shelves, but I can’t buy them. The thing I liked is either expensive, or something about it doesn’t suit me. This is where I start thinking about how to make something original and beautiful using arts and crafts techniques.

Historical information about the material for a leather handbag Leather is an environmentally friendly product. Leather processing is one of the oldest crafts on earth. Almost everything was made from it: clothes, shoes, wallets, handbags, hats, belts, and even horse harnesses were made.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR THE WORK TOOLS AND MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR THE WORK Ruler, square and pencil Well-sharpened scissors PVA glue or “Moment” Leather Sewing machine for making the lining Fabric for the lining Cardboard for the base Fastener Cord (which holds the handbag on the shoulder)

SAFETY RULES You can only work with a knife in the direction away from you. It is more convenient to cut leather with a knife using a metal ruler, but it is better to take measurements using a wooden one. The rings need to be wrapped in cloth or a strip of leather. All cutting tools must be well sharpened. Tuck your hair under a scarf.

Economic assessment of the project Economic assessment of the project The approximate price of handbags made of genuine leather in a store is 3000 rubles. When making a handbag, I will spend: “Moment” glue - 37 rubles. threads - 12 rub. fabric “Twill” 50 cm - 40 rub. braid 1.2 meters - 30 rubles Total: 119 rubles. By making this project, I saved about 2,750 rubles.

What new things did I learn while making the project? When making the handbag, I learned that after gluing the leather, you tap it with a hammer, then it fits tightly. And on a sewing machine, it is better to sew leather through paper, then the machine foot will easily advance the material, or coat the leather with machine oil.

Ways to sell crafts from old leather Nowadays, products made from genuine leather are in great demand, despite the high price; and old boots, jackets, bags are thrown into the trash. You could open a collection point for things made from genuine leather, dye them and make fashionable things and various stylish things, and thereby organize your own business.

Introduction

Every time the holidays approach, the question arises: “What to give?” After all, surprising people with gifts is very difficult. Giving sweets is no longer so interesting, and flowers quickly wither. And we decided to make gifts from sweets. Gifts made from candy are very original and look impressive on the table. It will be unusual and interesting, the gift will create a joyful holiday atmosphere.

And if you don’t want to eat candy, then such a gift can be left for a long time, and it will delight the eye for a long time. We became very interested in finding out what and how such candy gifts can be made from.

The theme of our creative project: DIY gifts: bouquet of sweets.

The purpose of the creative project: make gifts from sweets with your own hands.

Objectives of the creative project:

get to know different types of candy gifts,

draw up technological maps for making gifts from sweets;

Follow safety rules when working;

    create a collection “How to make a gift from sweets.”

Object of study: present

Subject of research: making a gift bouquet of sweets.

Hypothesis: We assumed that we could make an original gift from sweets with our own hands, which would bring joy and pleasure to relatives and friends than a gift bought with money.

Present - , whichdonorat one's own request, free of charge, in full possession with the aim of bringing pleasure and benefit to the recipient of the gift.

Gift has a similar meaning to and. But, as a rule, giving a gift is associated with some occasion: a certain event, or. There are many different reasons for giving a gift. The most common of them:

    customs and holidays (,);

    expression of gratitude, gratitude;

    expression of love or friendship;

    expression of sympathy;

    expression of sympathy.

Often a gift has an additional hidden meaning that is understandable to both the giver and the recipient. This meaning is determined by the personal relationships of people, as well as the way the gift was presented or the occasion on which the gift was presented. Sometimes a gift imposes certain obligations on the recipient and requires a return gift after some time.

On They always loved gifts, they knew how to find secret meaning and happy news in them. In numerous fabulous it speaks of a knife given as a gift, on which blood appears if its owner got into trouble overseas. Or how the groom recognizes his bride by the given ring. It is also no coincidence that The hero does not find most wonderful objects, but receives them as a gift: be it a ball that shows the way or a ring that makes wishes come true.

In Rus', the word “gift” had a twin brother - “gift”, which came from the word “guest”. Previously, according to custom, a person always had to enter a house with a gift, and in this house they were ready to “give” him in return. On gave away patterned gingerbread cookies with the inscriptions “Whom I love, I give », « A gift from a loved one is more valuable than gold "Also, gifts carry the properties of their givers (containing a light or dark aura). Also, the custom of exchanging for colored eggs.

Chapter 1. History of gifts

    1. Types of gifts

There are many different gifts that you can make with your own hands. A good gift can be homemade cards, topiaries, dolls and toys, sewn yourself (tildes), and various things connected with the soul.

You don’t have to buy ready-made cards in the store; you can make them yourself from beautiful paper. In the store you can buy a lot of things for designing cards. A very popular technique is scrapbooking. Thus, you can create not only postcards, but also entire albums for photographs with a specific theme.

Topiary(other names - European treeAnd Tree of Happiness) – already a very common interior decoration in European floristry. Topiarchs have only recently gained popularity and are beginning to win everyone’s love. This fact is explained by the fact that trees of happiness are a very good solution for those who do not want to burden themselves with caring for indoor plants or who are tired of “standard” compositions in vases. Therefore, you can create a beautiful topiary yourself. For example, from coffee beans, cones or dried flowers, as well as from satin roses or artificial flowers, such a tree will be a wonderful gift.

Our project considers a gift made from sweets. One example of a gift made from sweets is a bouquet. Bouquets of sweets look very impressive on the table and are wonderful as original gifts. It will be unusual and interesting, the bouquet will create a joyful holiday atmosphere.

And if you don’t want to eat candy, then you can leave this bouquet for a long time. After all, the bouquet will not wither, and will delight the eye for a long time. In Appendix 1 you can get acquainted with the possible configurations of bouquets.

    1. Candy gifts

The tradition of making bouquets appeared a long time ago. People began using a bouquet of flowers to decorate rooms approximately 6,000 years ago. In ancient times, bouquets were replaced by wreaths and garlands; they were used to decorate sacrificial altars and animals intended for sacrifice, or the thrones of rulers. Many religions had patron gods of flowers, such as in Ancient Rome, in which Flora patronized flowers. It hosted lush floral celebrations, when numerous armfuls of flowers, wreaths, and garlands were brought to the altar dedicated to the goddess.

Then people began to decorate themselves with flowers. Guests in Ancient Rome wore wreaths of violets, roses, and ivy around their necks, and decorated their hands with bracelets of intertwined flowers. By the way, this tradition has been preserved among some peoples to this day. Garlands of flowers, which acquired symbolic meaning, were awarded to those who won sports competitions; warriors who returned home with victory were placed around the necks of the chosen ones. The most ancient flower arrangements appeared officially in Japan.

The art of creating bouquets of candy has not yet become commonplace in Russia, such as floristry or wedding cakes. But this beautiful and tasty business combines completely different things: commerce and design. It is sometimes called “sweet floristry,” emphasizing its odiousness and unequal significance.

The sweets themselves not so long ago took on the form that is so common to us now. The history of candy covers the geography of the entire world. The first confectioners appeared in Ancient Egypt: they made sweets from honey and dates, as well as almonds. In Ancient Rome, the recipe for sweets made from nuts, poppy seeds, honey and sesame was kept in the strictest confidence, and in Ancient Rus', sweets were made from maple syrup, molasses and honey.

The chronicles of France tell how candy played a role of national importance at court. In 1715, the chancellor won the favor of the French king Louis XV by presenting him with gratitude for his speech from the throne... a huge dish of sweets! However, what else could you do to win the heart of a monarch who was only five years old?!

The word “candy” itself was invented by Italian pharmacists in the 16th century: this is what they called fruits that were candied or processed into jam. But the “sweets” of that time were used for medicinal purposes. And in Rus', from time immemorial, they boiled fruits in honey, and also added various spices. But large-scale production of sweets in their current understanding appeared in Russia only in the 19th century.

1.3How to store candy gifts

Gifts made from candy are quite unpretentious, but still require certain safety measures.

The shelf life of a gift in its original form is limited by the shelf life of sweets, so the average shelf life of a gift is six months.

Typically, a sufficient storage condition is room temperature in the premises.

Handmade gifts are best placed in vases.

Floral paper quickly fades when exposed to direct sunlight, so bouquets should be kept in the shade and not placed on window sills.

Gifts should not be stored near open sources of fire, heating, etc.

Chapter 2. Practical part “Making gifts from sweets”

2.1 Making a candy bouquet. Technological map

Required materials:

    a box of trapezoid-shaped chocolates (Raffaello or something similar);

    a piece of foam;

    toothpicks or small wooden skewers;

    tape 1 to 2 cm wide (can be transparent or masking);

    organza for decorating flowers (you can use a mesh for flowers) 1 m;

    hot glue gun and rod;

    silk ribbon for decoration 1 m.

Work plan:

1. Cut a piece of polystyrene foam to the size of the box.

2. Apply glue to the foam and glue it to the bottom of the box.

3. Attach the toothpick to the candy wrapper using tape. (So attach toothpicks to all the candies).

4. Cut organza into squares measuring 7x7 cm.

5. Roll the squares, glue a toothpick and attach, just like candy, using tape.

6. Insert the candies and organza decoration into the foam.

7. Make a bow and decorate the box.

2.2 Making a bouquet of sweets: poppies. Technological map

Required materials:

    Candies

    Long skewers;

    Colored corrugated paper;

    Foil;

    Styrofoam that will fit inside the wrapping paper;

    Scissors;

    Additional decorations for the bouquet;

    Regular tape.

Work plan:

    Wrap the candies in foil and attach a skewer to them. Cut a rectangle out of green paper and make stamen cuts on one side.

    Wrap cut green paper around the base of the bud to create the inner part of the flower.

    Cut out the petals. For each flower you will need 4 pieces. Then each petal needs to be crushed in your hands and straightened to create the effect of delicate poppy petals.

    Wrap the petals around the bud.

    Make a green leg. To do this, cut a thin strip of paper and stick it to the edge, then wrap the strip around the base of the flower and down to the end of the skewer. In this case, the paper can be replaced with green tape.

    Cut out petals from green paper and glue to the stem.

    Cut a ball out of foam plastic, insert flowers and wrap with wrapping paper.

2.3 Making a candy tree. Technological map

Required materials

A3 cardboard;

Tinsel 1-2m (color optional);

Any candy in small candy wrappers (for example, caramel) 300 g;

Double-sided tape;

Stapler;

Scissors;

Compass.

Work plan:

1. Using a compass, draw a semicircle on the cardboard. The height of the tree depends on the radius of the semicircle.

2. Cover the cone with double-sided tape, removing the protective layer.

3. Stick candies in rows.

4. Glue tinsel in a circle between the rows of candies, covering all the voids.

Sweets play a major role in the gift.

Use in your composition candies that you have tried and liked, or those that the person for whom your sweet gift is intended loves. And, of course, the candies must not have expired.

We held a master class on making gifts from sweets for students in grades 5 and 7. At the school fair, a “Tasty Workshop” master class was held on making a flower with candy. At a school concert dedicated to March 8, all women were given a crocus flower with candy inside. Everyone liked it.

2.4 Safety precautions and labor protection

1. Do not keep sharp or breakable objects in your pockets.

2. Tidy up the workplace, do not clutter the aisles.

3. Place the scissors with the blades closed away from the person working.

4. Upon completion of work, clean your workplace.

By analyzing the costs, we can draw a conclusion about the feasibility and economic benefits of making gifts yourself. Self-made gifts from sweets turn out to be several times cheaper than the same ones purchased in a store (350-2500 rubles), and at the same time, they often surpass the purchased one in quality and originality of execution.

Conclusion

Not long ago there was a fashion to dogifts in the form of bouquets of sweets. They can be given to loved ones, friends, parents, teachers, or generally anyone who wants to give a person pleasant emotions. The cost of such a gift does not exceed the price of a standard box of chocolates. However, the effect of a candy bouquet is many times greater than that of an ordinary set of sweets.

Not everyone has managed to learn the art of composing. Therefore, you have to purchase ready-made bouquets from those craftsmen who have perfectly mastered the skill of composing them. But at the same time, a ready-made bouquet of sweets costs more than the one we make ourselves. Meanwhile, learning how to make such sweet bouquets yourself is not at all difficult. To do this, you just need to familiarize yourself with the points of the relevant technology. In just one evening you can create a truly exclusive and delicious gift. You will only have to spend money on the candies themselves and the materials accompanying the creation of the bouquet.
