❧ On Easter, old people combed their hair with wishes that they would have as many grandchildren as there were hairs on their heads, washed themselves with silver in the hope of getting rich, and young people climbed onto the roofs of houses to meet the sun.
❧ Easter is a great holiday, and higher powers are ready to fulfill any desire of an Orthodox person (the desire is pronounced at matins).
❧ With easter egg you can get relief from all diseases and misfortunes. If the egg received from the priest at the time of christening is kept in the shrine for three or even 12 years, then as soon as such an egg is eaten by a seriously ill person, all the illness will disappear as if by hand.

Christ drank to the dregs the cup of suffering for the sins of the world. He rises above Jerusalem, he rises above the world, he rises above Death... This fills our hearts with incomparable joy, for Christ has risen and from now on we are saved. Here's to the bright holiday of Easter!
The Easter holiday is wonderful, its customs and traditions are wonderful - the procession of the cross, the celebration of Christ, Easter cakes and colored eggs, but most of all the beautiful covenant of this day is “Love your neighbor as yourself.” So let us love each other, and for the Bright Resurrection of Christ!
