You will need several rolls of silver foil. A black or gray turtleneck and leggings are perfect for the base of a suit. We wrap all the necessary parts of the vestment with foil: collar, sleeves, back, front, belt and shoes.
You can use a large one cardboard box- make holes for the arms and head and cover with foil. The final stage in the costume will be the headdress:

Little astronaut
The basis of the clothing can be a red jumpsuit or a suit made of silver brocade - these are the two main colors for such a suit. Once you have decided on your astronaut’s outfit, you can begin creating specific costume accessories: a helmet and cylinders. And also decorate children's boots so that they look like astronaut shoes.
Let's start creating a helmet. We will make it using the papier-mâché technique. We will need:
- large round balloon;
- a lot of old newspapers, sheets of thin paper;
- 1 tbsp. flour;
- water and white latex paint.
A future astronaut will help you tear the paper into small strips and pieces. Mix flour and water thoroughly in a cup until a creamy mass is obtained.
We inflate a balloon larger than the child’s head and place strips of paper soaked in dough on it in even layers. The bottom of the ball remains unsealed. This remains a hole for the head and neck; it should be larger in diameter than the baby astronaut’s head.
Carefully burst the ball after the structure has completely dried and remove any rubber residue from the inside. We cover the top of the helmet with white paint. Mark with a pencil and carefully cut out a window for the face. The resulting uneven edges should be sealed with white adhesive tape.
You can make fuel cylinders from two 1.5-liter bottles, wrapped in silver foil and secured with tape. We attach “tongues of fire” made of red fabric, napkins or corrugated paper to the nozzles of the cylinders.
Costumes made from waste material
Eco-design is very popular now. The most natural and environmentally friendly available materials are cellulose, paper and any of its derivatives. Rummage through the bins and look for:
