Wreath of pine cones and acorns. Decorating master class: Autumn wreath with acorns How to make a wreath from pine cones and acorns

Wreaths of pine cones decorate the house and fill it with an atmosphere of magic. They are associated with cheerful winter holidays and create a special mood. By the way, making such a wreath with your own hands is not at all difficult. We bring to your attention options for its production.

Hanger as a base

This option is the simplest. Take a clothes hanger made of bendable wire. The hook should be left unchanged, and the hangers themselves should be given the shape of a circle. One end of the hanger will have to be untwisted in order to string the pine cones onto it. By the way, they can be painted, for example, with gold paint. Glue small plastic rings to the pine cones. String cones with rings onto a circle. Twist the free edge of the wire. Attach a large satin ribbon bow on top to cover the hook and decorate your wreath.

Newspaper wreath base

Make a ring base from newspapers, rewind it so that it is held tightly with thin wire, thread or rolled paper. Cut a strip of organza (width 15 cm, length 1.5 m), wrap it around the frame, and secure with a glue gun. Wrap the frame with green rain imitating spruce branches. Glue pine cones, small fake vegetables, flowers and leaves.

We use ready-made materials for creativity

You can take a ready-made base for a wreath. They are sold in abundance in departments for handicrafts. Glue acorns, halves of walnut shells, small cones and beads to it, and make bows from brown linen rope (this is how bags used to be tied). Your wreath is ready!

Twigs as a base

Tie pliable thin branches so that you get a base that resembles a nest without a bottom. Attach pine cones, decorative twigs and beads to the base. Paint the pine cones with silver paint.

To make the wreath look impressive and elegant, you can paint it with spray paint, sprinkle it with sparkles, decorate it with satin ribbons, bows, small Christmas tree decorations, beads, etc. The more decorative elements, the better. Arts and crafts shops sell beautiful twigs, stars and flowers for decoration.

You can make a wreath that will be combined with the general design idea, for example, decorate it in the same color scheme as the Christmas tree or, on the contrary, make it as natural as possible. It is very convenient to fix decorative elements with transparent silicone glue, a glue gun, or using thin wire.

Most often, such wreaths decorate the front door, or quite possibly.

Here are some photo ideas:

I have a tree that stands at my home and at work. This is one of my first creations in the field of topiary, which I kept for myself. And I thought it would be nice to make something similar, but as a decoration for a wall or door Moreover, autumn is not over yet, you can gather materials, and with such decoration you can decorate your house for the New Year holiday. So I decided to make a wreath!

I bought the base for the wreath (a foam circle) a year and a half ago and I started making a coffee theme that I loved at that time, a coffee wreath. But I didn’t have enough patience and interest for it and this unfinished wreath was lying everywhere!
And now it’s useful to me!
I tore off all the grain, repainted it and got to work!

But we collected this round piece over an acorn in Turkey. When the bus stopped for a rest and everyone went to meet their needs, some to a perkur, I personally went to PARADISE. To a paradise of these little bumps.
From the beginning, I started collecting in my palm, but all the pine cones in this forest did not fit into my small palm, so we went to get the bag. This saved the situation a little.
Having collected a little, I happily went on vacation at the seaside.
But how lucky I was when on the way back to our vacation the bus stopped there :):):):)

And so, let's get started with MK. Making a wreath is very simple!
For this we need:

  • foam circle (can be replaced with crumpled paper wrapped in thread)
  • dye
  • bumps
  • acorns
  • nut shell
  • beads
  • leg-split.

1. We paint the base in a color close to the materials that we will use in our work.

2. Glue on cones, acorns, nuts.

3. We fill the voids with coffee beans, small acorns, and beads.
They are on the right side of the wreath, but not on the left.

4. We wrap the wreath with twine and make bows from the same material.

Before I started making the wreath, I thought that it would go for sale. But when some pine cones and acorns were glued onto the base, I realized that I would keep the wreath for myself.
I plan to make the same tree for the New Year!

And a few more photos for the autumn mood!

With the arrival of autumn, city parks and forests become unusually attractive, thanks to bright leaves red and yellow. They are excellent material for decorative crafts, including an autumn wreath.

Original autumn wreaths, in addition to leaves, can include hop cones, autumn herbs, fruits, tree branches, for example, oak with acorns. Such wreaths give the interior a special atmosphere conducive to relaxation and creativity. Such a wreath is usually placed as a decoration on one of the walls of the room or on the door.

The basis on which the parts will be fixed;
- special wire;
- glue;
- autumn leaves, cones, acorns, beautiful branches, etc.;
- multi-colored ribbons.

A flexible wire is suitable as a base, the thicker the better or vine. They are sold in handicraft stores. As an option, a metal clothes hanger is used; its advantage is that it already has a hook on which the wreath will be attached to the wall. A circle is formed from it, to which the wreath parts are attached. It is important that the circle has the correct geometric shape, otherwise it will affect the quality of the work. It’s easy to make a circle with your own hands from branches or vines, fastening them with wire. The basis can also be branches with cones, acorns, berries, herbs, and flowers.
The wreath can be one-sided or two-sided. Double-sided, when decorative parts are fixed on both sides, is recommended for decorating a door.

The elements of the wreath are selected depending on the time of its use. Naturally, natural parts deteriorate quickly, so for long-term use you should give preference to artificial parts.

Natural elements for a wreath should be dried, but not overdried, so that the parts do not lose their shape or crumble. As for apples, cones, and acorns, they will stick well if you first attach them to a stick. Leaves, grass, flowers can be woven singly or in bunches. Glue, wire, and grass stems are suitable as fasteners. Natural fasteners look much more aesthetically pleasing.

A bow will perfectly complement an autumn wreath. The place for it must be determined in advance. A bow made of wide suede, velvet, plush ribbons in warm colors looks great. The bow can also be made from stems of flowers or herbs. The wreath is fixed on the wall with a hook or a beautiful ribbon in the form of a loop.
