Fold the bottom corner of the bandana toward the top to create a large triangle. Then take the double top corner and fold it down towards the base of the triangle and you will have a trapezoid.

• Fold the trapezoid in half lengthwise. Now the bandana will look more like a long strip.
• Repeat the process of folding the bandana lengthwise until the width of the folded strip is approximately 4 cm.
• Lift the bandana carefully so it doesn't unravel. Place the center of the bandage on top of your head, and tie the ends in a knot at the back at the base of your neck.
• If you wear your hair down, make sure the knot of the headband is underneath it.

Make a bandana with a knot in the front. Follow the same directions for folding the bandana as you did for the wide bandana, but this time instead of placing the center of the bandana in the front and the knot at the back of the neck, do the opposite and place the center of the bandana at the base of the neck and tie the knot at the top in the front.

Make a hippie headband out of a bandana. A hippie-style headband wraps around your head like a crown, adding a relaxed and unconventional touch to your look. To use this style, follow the directions to roll the bandana into a wide headband, then place the center of the bandana against your forehead. Tie the two loose ends of the bandana at the back of your head. The hair should be under the bandana.

• The bandana can be rolled into either wide or narrow stripes, it all depends on your personal preferences.

Decorate with a bandana ponytail in the style of the 50s. Start by gathering the material of the bandana in the center and then twisting it into a long rope. Tie a loose knot on the resulting rope so that there is an open loop on it.

• Once the knot is complete, gather your hair at the back into a ponytail and secure it with a hair tie.
• Place a loop of the knot over the ponytail and then pull the knot tightly over the elastic. Wrap the loose ends of the bandana around the base of the ponytail and slip it under the elastic band.
• This hairstyle looks good when using a rectangular bandana rather than the traditional square one.

Hide your hair under a bandana. Cover your head with a bandana in a vintage style by first making yourself voluminous hairstyle with a backcomb or just an updo and leave bangs on your forehead (if you have them). Fold the bandana diagonally to form a large triangle. Drape a triangle-folded bandana over your shoulders as a cape. Raise the side ends of the bandana up to your bangs so that it sticks out from under them. Also lift the back corner of the bandana up and slide it under the two side ends, then tie them with a knot directly above the forehead.

• The bandana should completely cover your head so that the bangs or part of the backcomb sticks out from under it in front, which will give your style a special twist.
