Hello, my dears, my name is Larisa and, as many write, this is my first online. I'm very afraid, but I'll try.
We will knit this beauty, the author of which is Elena Zhiganova, for which many thanks to her. (And I made a mirror picture of bullfinches)

I tried to open this post for two days and during this time I knitted the back to the armhole. My threads are Alize Real 40 angora in 100 g 480 m..., I still took knitting needles No. 2, I don’t like No. 1.5, but I will knit tighter than usual. My knitting gauge is 2.3 stitches and 3.3 rows per 1 cm. I will knit for a 2 year old and the girl, they say, is big, so I won’t count anything, it suits me. But I changed the beginning a little. There they cast on 60 sts, and after the elastic they add up to 70, I tried that, but probably because the yarn is thin, it turned out very narrow.
Since I will only make two bullfinches, I knitted 24 cm for the back and closed 4 loops on both sides, first along the face, then on the wrong side.
Now I knit the front and there will be a jacquard there up to the armhole. This time I want to make the branches with jaccade and the bullfinches with intarsia.
I don’t know if I should post my work photos, I think everything is clear for now. Join us, but you don’t have to rush, it looks like I’ll be knitting 2 sweaters at once and the next one for 5 years, I’ll still have to count the raglan.

● When using several colors of yarn to knit a product, you need to make sure that the threads do not fade. It is also very important that the composition and thickness of the multi-colored yarn are the same.
● It is advisable to join the knitted parts of the product using a knitted seam.
● Knitted items should be washed in moderately warm water using special detergents. Soak for 3 minutes, squeeze several times (but do not rub), then rinse thoroughly in cool water and squeeze lightly. Do not twist while spinning! Wrap in terry towel and squeeze again. Then straighten it and lay it out on a flat surface, preferably on a thick fabric that allows air to pass through well.
● Do not iron or steam knitted product so as not to disrupt the elasticity of the elastic! Just moisten it and let it dry flat.
