Knitted little fox hat with description. Knitted helmet little fox Vuk on knitting needles

Methods and notes:
The beanie is knitted in two, color one part using intarsia in the beanie and turn method. Then the body of the beanie is divided into two parts, the contrasting color part is placed on a spare needle, and the main color part is knitted in back and forth using short rows to form the ears and join as you go method for a seamless result.

The pattern provides instructions for toddler, child and adult sizes, including written instructions and a photo tutorial.

Skills used
Knitting and purling, knitting in round, intarsia, short rows, with three needles, close row, following two sets of instructions at the same time

We knit the nose.

1 row purl (before the very first loop an ugly inclined loop has formed, pick it up with the right knitting needle and put it on the left one, knit two together purl and knit the row to the end).

Sew on the nose. Eyes, nose - buttons.

The hat is ready.

Most likely, due to different knitting densities, the pattern of the nose will be different, we can think through it together.

I reached the nose, but I ended up with 31 loops, how can I calculate it, just leave more on the sides?

And if I knit for volume 48, do I also need to knit 15 cm? and is this counted from the beginning of the elastic band?

Judging by the table, the height (depth) of the cap should be 17 cm. Measure how many cm your elastic band is. Subtract from 17.

And yes, knit these cm, counting from the very beginning of knitting.

So, we knitted 15 cm. Now we leave the front (white) part of the cap on a pin, so to speak, in anticipation. We knit the back (red) part of the cap in straight and reverse rows - 3 cm. (Here it is better to count the rows - 10 rows.) We finished with a purl row.

Now let's start knitting the ears. (I calculated the number of loops for them like this: I divided 55 loops into 4 parts - roughly like this: 14 loops for the ears and the rest for the middle.. The ears seemed insufficient to me, so I took 16 loops for the ears)

We knit the right ear:

1st row of the front: knit 16 loops, unfold the knitting.

2nd row purl: we knit these 16 loops (the first edge stitch - we remove it like an edge stitch).

3rd row of the front: knit 12 loops, unfold the knitting.

Purl row 4: knit these 12 loops (the first edge stitch - remove it like an edge stitch).

5th row of the front: knit 9 loops, unfold the knitting.

Purl row 6: knit these 9 loops (the first edge stitch - remove it like an edge stitch).

Knit row 7: knit 6 stitches, unfold the knitting.

Row 8 is purl: we knit these 6 loops (the first edge stitch - we remove it like an edge stitch).

9 row front: knit 3 loops, unfold the knitting.

Row 10 purl: we knit these 3 loops (the first edge loop - we remove it like an edge stitch).

11th row of the front: we knit 6 loops (make sure that the loops are knitted not crossed - those that were edge). Unfold the knitting.

Purl row 12: knit 6 stitches.

13th row of the front: we knit 9 loops (make sure that the loops are knitted not crossed - those that were edge). Unfold the knitting.

Purl row 14: knit 9 loops.

15th row of the front: we knit 12 loops (make sure that the loops are knitted not crossed - those that were edge). Unfold the knitting.

Purl row 16: knit 12 stitches.

17th row of the front: we knit 16 loops (make sure that the loops are knitted not crossed - those that were edge). Unfold the knitting.

Purl row 18: knit 16 stitches.

Now we move to the left ear - we knit the front row.

(When I knitted this row (with 16 stitches), I ended up with a small hole, which didn’t suit me very much; I closed my eyes to the rest)))

In general, I lifted the loop from the penultimate row onto the left needle with my right knitting needle and knitted the resulting two loops together.

Finished with a purl row.

oh-oh-oh, I confused you. 66/4. 17 eyelet, 32 middle part and 17 eyelet. and divide 17 like this 6+6+5. (You knit seventeen (including the edge) loops with knit stitches, turn around and knit these 17 loops with a purl row, then knit 11 with knit stitches, turn around and knit these 11 with a purl row, then knit 6, turn around and knit these 6 with a purl row, and five with knit stitches , turn around and knit these 5 loops purl side by side) .. if anything is not clear, ask, I will try to explain.

By the way, girls, knit on straight needles from the very beginning.

no, I didn’t bandage it, I’m still bothering myself. Yes, there will be one seam on the right, and there will also be a seam on the left above the intarsia. Trust! Knit))

Tell me, how will the seam be at the top or not??

No, there will be no seam at the top. knit the ears, knit three centimeters after them and close the loops on the sides, leaving for the nose..

I’ll also say that here (in the original photo) the yarn is in the range of 100g/300m -100g/400m. And it is knitted with intarsia to the end of the white muzzle. then the back is knitted with orange yarn in straight reverse rows, followed by knitting the ears and a little more of the muzzle. Then 1/4 is closed, 2/4 of the nose and 1/4 is closed. the ears are sewn together.

I’ll write briefly how I’m going to knit this beauty.

Knitting starts from the bottom. I'm not looking for easy ways)) I decided to knit it without seams with intarsia. I will knit the ears in short and long rows. So far so.

So, I started knitting today. I knitted a sample: 22 loops of elastic 2*2 are equal to 9 cm, 22 loops of satin stitch are equal to 10 cm. (Lux yarn in two strands on knitting needle No. 3)

I knit a hat for a head circumference of 50cm.

My calculation (by proportion): (50*22)/9=122 is the number of loops for the elastic band.

I’ll say right away that I dialed 120 to match the elastic pattern. I knit in the round with stocking needles.

(50*22)/10=110 number of stitches for satin stitch. That. You will need to cut 10 loops after finishing knitting the elastic.

Especially for this hat I bought red Yarn from Troitsk Lux (100% merino), I will knit it in two threads with knitting needles No. 3, white Merino de Lux YarnArt, but not for my son, maybe I’ll give it to someone.

Which one is better, I think depends on when you will wear it, for now and early spring you can use wool blend, for late spring, I think it can be made of cotton.

Cast on the loops, knit the elastic, then the white part, then the red one. at the point of transition from white to red, cast on red loops on the knitting needles, knit a triangle, there are slightly fewer rows than white rows. A hat with a square cloth is already ears, and the nose is additionally drawn out - and that’s why the ears are like that)

Author's words:
My calculations are for 1.5 – 2 years.
Yarn Children's whim in two threads, knitting needles No. 3.
It took me a little more than 1 skein of orange yarn, but if the lace and
tie the inside of the strip with white, then one would be enough.

Everything is knitted in garter stitch except for the lace placket. The handkerchief is convenient
because it is very flexible and easy to calculate - 1 scarf row = 1 loop.
It is better to make a set of loops with a simple yarn over on one knitting needle, again for
good ductility.

For example - a square with a side of 29 loops, set for 59 loops
(29+1+29), 29 shawl rows, in each shawl row decrease by 2
loops. We knit until one loop remains on the knitting needle. At Nadezhda Tetkina's
this element is called a closed square.

1. Occipital part.
Cast on with orange thread for 59 stitches (29+1+29). Knit as closed
square, in the middle of each front row, three loops together behind the back
wall, in the wrong side we remove the middle loop, thread before work. Those. V
Each shawl row decrease by 2 loops. Knit approximately to the middle
sides of the square. I have 17 rows, because... I wanted the ears to be closer to
top of the head.
We get an unfinished square, where we can clearly see the future ears. I
I usually don’t close the loops, but if it’s more convenient to knit, then you can close them.

2. Ears on top of head.
Here you can change the thread to white. Then we get small white ones
triangles.
Along the edge of one of the resulting triangles we collect the missing loops. U
I got 29 loops (14+1+14). We knit a triangle (direction
down), the same closed square, but in each row we do not knit one
loop. We move to the second eye and knit the same triangle. If not
It turns out to make a beautiful transition without a break, then we cut without regret
thread. The ends are easily retracted under the broaches in the tracks obtained by
shortening loops. As I already wrote, I don’t close the loops (for plasticity
knitting), but you can also close it.

3. Parietal part. Orange thread.
We knit a closed square. I have a set of 35 loops (17+1+17).

4. Cheeks. White yarn.
Along the edge of one of the sides of our large unknitted square we type
29 loops. We knit, adding 1 loop in each shawl row,
pulling them out from under the edge loops of the last closed square. Row
knit the last increase to the end and shorten the undercut
in rows on the last 10-14 loops, 5-7 times 2 loops. We repeat everything for
second cheek. Next we knit straight along the entire length, combining all the loops. U
For me, this is 4 rows of scarves, look at the number according to the depth of the cap.

5. Lace strap
stockinette stitch, the inside can be tied with an elastic band.

6. We tie the back of the head with orange thread.
We knit the corner, in the direction from top to bottom. We start from three loops,
adding one loop to each scarf row, simultaneously combining
with white cheeks. We knit about half of the cheeks with increases,
we reach the remaining loops to the end of the edge loops.

7. Clasp (made for free dressing)
We make an additional set for the fastener. I have 7 and 17 loops with
different sides (look - a clasp for a boy or a girl). Knit 6
rows of scarves. For a better fit to the neck, you can tie it with an elastic band.

Material: Yarn of 2 colors - orange and white, a little more - a little black, hook. I used NAKO yarn - bambino, 130m per 100g (orange and black) and Svetlana yarn - 250m per 100g.

Work progress:

First, we calculate what diameter the circle will be - the top of the cap, so as not to “miss” with the size. To do this, divide the OG (head surround) by 3.14 (PI number) and subtract 1.5 - 2 cm for the tightness. If the yarn or pattern used does not stretch well, then you need to take less and vice versa. I have a hat on the OG = 50cm, so 50:3.14 = 15.9 - 2cm (the fabric stretches well) = 13.9cm.

1. Start knitting with orange thread. We make a sliding loop and knit 12 dc into it, tighten the loop by the free tip. This is the 1st row of our hat.

2 Next we knit DC in the round, adding 12 DC in each row. For that. In order not to get confused in the increases, we conditionally divide all our loops into 12 sectors. We initially have 12 stitches in the first row, therefore we get 12 sectors with one loop in each sector.

2nd r - 24 dc (each loop is doubled), 3rd r - 36 dc (every second loop is doubled), r 4 - 48 dc (every 3rd loop is doubled), etc., 5th r - 60 dc, 6th r - 72 dc, 7th r - 84p. Now my circle - the crown has reached the desired size, so we need to continue knitting without increases: we continue knitting with orange thread. - 8,9,10,11,12 rows - 84 SSN

3. Switch to a white thread and knit 4 more rows - 13,14,15,16 rows - 84 DC.

The base of the hat - the cap - is ready.

So, 84p (this is the number of loops that we knitted): 2 = 42p - 4p (4 is a constant number for any hat size) = 38 loops (this is for the forehead)

84:2 = 42 +4 = 46p (this is for the back of the head and ears); 46: 3 (3 parts - nape and 2 ears) = 15 sts and 1 loop left. 15 p - 2 p (we subtract 2 loops so that we can then add 1 to each ear) = 13 +1 (which was left over) = 14 p (this is for the back of the head); All that remains is to calculate the ears - 15p +1 = 16p (for each ear)

Check: 38 (forehead)+16 (ear)+14 (back of the head)+ 16 (second ear) = 84p. The formula is not complicated, the main thing is to understand the principle of calculation.

5. We knit the eyelet like this: 1st row - 16 Dcs, in the 2nd, 3, 4 and 5 rows at the end and at the beginning of the row we knit 2 Dcs together (with one vertex) As a result, we get 8 Dcs. We knit the second ear in the same way.

6. We tie the entire hat together with the ears with RLS.

7. We knit fox ears: Using orange thread we knit a chain of 15 ch. 1st row - 14 hdc (half double crochet), 2nd row - 14 hdc, in rows 3, 4 and 5 - make decreases at the end and beginning of the row, knitting 2 hdc together. As a result, 8 PSSN remain. Then we switch to the black thread and continue knitting, making decreases, in the 6th and 7th rows we decrease 2 loops, and in the 8th row - 1 loop. 3 loops remain.

We knit the inner eyelet with white thread. We start with 9 ch. 1st row - 8 hdc and then similarly to the orange ear, in the 2nd and 3rd rows we subtract 2 hdc, and in the 4th and 5th rows we subtract 1 hdc. 2 loops remain.

8. Eyes - we knit a chain of black double thread - 10 ch.

9. Spout: We wrap the pencil with black thread. The more turns you wind, the larger the spout will be. Carefully remove the turns from the pencil and tie them with sc in a circle. We do the tying for at least 2 circles, more is possible. Then use your fingers to shape the nose, tucking the braid of the last row of the binding to the bottom.

10. Sew all the details to the hat using monofilament.

The "Fox" hat is ready.

If you knit another cap and insert it inside, and then connect both parts during the tying process (this is step 6), you will get a double cap, which will not be cold even in winter. Only in this case you need to take into account that the size of the cap will decrease slightly.

Knitting for children is a pleasure. The items are small and knitted quickly. And the children will be comfortable in them, because the mother’s soul is invested there! Let's knit a warm helmet, which has a funny name: Little Fox Vuk.

Children's hat and helmet with Fox ears

Calculation of knitting a Little Fox helmet for dimensions:
- from 3 to 6 months (first digit);
- from 12 to 18 months (second digit).

You will need:
— yarn “Arina Novaya” (50% wool 50% acrylic 100g/123 meters) — 100 grams,
— yarn “Svetlana” (50% wool 50% acrylic 100g/250 meters) — 50 grams
- stocking needles No. 4.5; No. 2. Hook No. 2.5. Also stock up on two clamps.

Types of bindings for the Fox Vuk helmet:
— elastic band 1 x 1 (alternately knit 1, purl 1)
- knits.stitch (on the face - knit, on the wrong side - purl)
When knitting in the round, knit stitches are all knit stitches.

Detailed diagram and description of work:

We take Arina Novaya yarn, knitting needles No. 4.5, cast on 51/59 sts in an open set.
Open set of loops - watch the video:

Next, knit according to the description:
1st row (wrong side of the helmet): hem, * elastic band 1 x 1 *, hem;
2p. (front side): chrome, * elastic 1 x 1 *, chrome;
3p.: hem, 1 knit, * yarn over, 2 knits together, repeat from *, hem;
4p.: knit with an elastic band 1 x 1 according to the pattern;
5p.: chrome, 15/17 knits.. 19/23 rib, 15/17 knits, chrome;
6p.: 6 pets. close, the rest according to the drawing, edging;
7p.: close 6 loops, the rest according to the drawing, edging;
8p.: 2 together. (close 3 p.), then as a drawing, edging;
9r.: like the eighth r.
10 rub. and knit all the subsequent ones as the pattern fits until the total length from the lace is 16/19cm, evenly reducing the width of the helmet elastic to 9p.

When the height reaches 16/19 cm at the beginning of the row, we cast on another 12/13 stitches and proceed to knitting with five knitting needles in the round.
In total it turned out 48/54p. We will knit 7/9 rows.

Let's move on to Ushki

We mark with four markers on both sides 7/9p in the center of the front part (markers 1 and 2) and 7/9p in the rear part (markers 3 and 4). On the sides, 34/38 stitches are the ears (17/19 stitches each when folded).
In the 4th round, knit 2 stitches together after the first marker and before the second. And repeat the same with the second ear of the cap.

When knitting sizes 3-6 months. in the 6th round, we knit 2 times together between the first and second markers (4 stitches left inside the markers), and 2 times 2 stitches together between the third and fourth markers (3 stitches left).

When knitting sizes 12-18 months, repeat 4 rows (5 stitches inside the mark).

Then we form the ears of the Little Fox helmet: in the 7/9th row of the central loops between markers (1 and 2), and (3 and 4) we remove them without knitting.

We knit the loops of the side parts between the marker two and three in 4 rows, then divide them into 2 parts 8 and 9 stitches (9 and 10 stitches), move the loops onto 2 knitting needles, turn them inside out, using a crochet hook, and connect them with half-columns. We turn the ear out.
Tie the second ear of the helmet in the same way.

We turn the open central loops on the back and front inside out and connect them with a hook.

Let's tie shirtfront for a hat, make a cap on the eyelets of the neck.
1p. (wrong side): 7/9 p. (this is half the front), 2 faces. (joint strip), purl 7/8 (sleeve), knit 2
(connection), 15/17 purl. (back), 2 knit. (joint), 7/8 purl. (sleeve), 2 knit. (joint), 7/9 purl. (half front)

2p. (right side): we knit with front loops, before and after the connection loops, we make yarn overs.
We join the knitting in a circle and knit the loops of the front, sleeves and back in a circle. The joint loops must be knitted alternatingly: knit in one row, purl in the second, so that the pattern looks like a garter stitch.

So we knit 12/14 rows. Then we close it with a hook along the front side of the helmet.

Tie the bottom of the shirtfront openwork pattern:
1st row: arch of 4 chain stitches, half-column in every third stitch of the bottom row.
2nd row: a shell made of 4 double crochets in an arch, a half-column in the center of the arch of the bottom row.
3 rows: arch of 4 air stitches, half-column in half-column of the bottom row, arch of 4 air stitches, half-column in the center of the shell of the bottom row.
4 rows: arch made of 4 air stitches, half-column in the arch of the bottom row.
5 rubles: like the fourth
6r.: like the second one.

Assembling a children's helmet cap:

We make a seam with a needle in the center of the chest of the helmet.
In the part of the helmet that will be around the baby’s face, we tie it with Svetlana yarn. We dial 80/88p. using knitting needles No. 2 and knitting in the round with an elastic band of 1 x 1 approximately 7 cm. We close the loops, wrap the harness and sew it inside the helmet.

How to tie strings to the Little Fox helmet? We crochet a lace from air loops approximately 50/55cm and thread it through the holes. We attach clamps to the ends of the cord.

We finish decorating the helmet ears: tie the edges of the ears with Svetlana yarn in single crochets, pull the ends inside out and secure.

The cap and helmet Little Fox Vuk is ready. Now your baby won't freeze!

Dimensions

For head circumference 42–46 cm.

You will need

Yarn (100% merino wool; 50 m/50 g) – 50 g each of white, orange and black; knitting needles No. 8; hook number 8.

Patterns and schemes

Rubber

Alternately 1 knit and 1 purl.

Facial surface

Front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.

Knitting using intarsia technique

Knit according to patterns A and B in stockinette stitch in rows in forward and reverse directions. Read front rows from right to left, purl rows from left to right.

1 cell of the pattern = 1 p. x 1 p. The colored areas in the diagram are limited by contours; the numbers inside the contours indicate the colors of the threads.

When changing colors, cross the threads on the wrong side of the work so that holes do not form in the knitted fabric. When knitting large colored sections, cross the threads from time to time on the wrong side of the work so that sagging broaches do not form.

Knitting density

12 p. x 18 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with face rook.

Getting the job done

For the hat, cast on 50 stitches with white thread and knit with an elastic band in rows in forward and reverse directions.

After 2.5 cm = 4 r. from the initial row, continue working with stockinette stitch according to pattern A using the intarsia technique, while in the 1st row. add 1 p. = 51 p.

Tip: the black areas (= pupils of the eyes) can be knitted first with white thread, and then embroidered along the loops with black thread.

Make decreases on both sides according to the diagram, starting from the 31st row. In 41st r. knit 2 stitches in pairs sequentially, finish knit 1. = on knitting needles 11 sts.

Cut the thread and pull off the remaining 11 stitches with the end. Fasten the end of the thread.

Ears

For each ear, cast on 14 stitches with orange thread and knit according to pattern B using stockinette stitch using the intarsia technique.

At 6 p.m. Divide the loops in the middle and finish both sides separately.

After the 13th p.m. bind off the remaining 2 loops.

Assembly

Pin the details onto the pattern, moisten and leave until dry.

Sew the back seam of the cap.

Sew the ears. Sew the ears to the hat.

Crochet the nose with black thread; to do this, make a “bump”: 3 ch, in the 1st ch. complete 4 unfinished sts. s/n, tied together, finish 1 ch, cut the thread, pass the end through the last ch. Sew the nose to the hat.
