Easter egg made of beads step by step instructions. Easter eggs made of beads: weaving patterns, photos and videos

Our website already has information on beading Easter eggs using various types beading techniques. Today we will braid another egg using the technique we recently learned.

We will need:
- beads size No. 8 in several colors; I took orange, green, yellow and blue for the middle part of the egg with a pattern and, in addition, light green and light lilac for braiding the tops;
- wooden or plastic egg; I took an egg with a height of 55 mm and a diameter of 40 mm;
- nylon thread and two needles for beading.

First we need to weave a beaded fabric, from which we will then make a belt covering the middle part of the egg. Please note: the width of the canvas should be such as to cover the widest part of the egg, before it begins to narrow towards the tops. I wove a fabric with a width of 9 horizontally spaced beads. The length of the canvas should exactly match the length of the circle in the middle of the egg. My canvas is 42 beads long.
I wove the belt with a pattern consisting of two crosses and capital letters"HV".

The beaded fabric can be woven using brick stitch or mosaic. Each of these methods has its own advantages and disadvantages. If you weave with a mosaic, then it is very easy to adjust the length of the fabric: you need to start weaving from the part of the fabric where the pattern begins, and then after finishing weaving the pattern, all the remaining rows will consist of beads of the same color. Therefore, in order to get a fabric of the length you need, you just need to weave the required number of remaining single-color rows, trying on the length of the resulting fabric directly on the existing egg.
If you use mosaic weaving, then do not forget that since in our case an odd number of beads are placed in the mosaic fabric in width, such a fabric must be woven using the mosaic technique on two needles. The technique of such weaving can be studied. In addition, in order for the resulting mosaic fabric to be sewn into a belt, the number of rows in the fabric woven with a mosaic must be even (for my example, this is 84 rows).

I wove the fabric using the brick stitch technique. Despite the fact that for this it is necessary to first accurately calculate the number of beads in the rows, the fabric itself, woven using a brick stitch, usually turns out to be smoother than one woven with a mosaic. If the calculated width of your fabric differs from mine, you will need to change the number of orange beads in my pattern at the end of each odd row and at the beginning of each even row.

In addition to the two indicated methods for weaving beaded fabric, you can also use a third - intermediate - method: weave the main part of the fabric with the pattern using a brick stitch, and then mosaic weave to the fabric so many additional vertical rows so that the fabric completely encircles the egg.

As I already noted, I wove the beaded fabric with a brick stitch. Detailed Description The basics of this technique are given.

We weave the fabric according to the following pattern:

1st row - a single chain consisting of 42 beads: 4 orange, 1 yellow, 5 orange, 3 green, 2 orange, 3 green, 1 orange, 5 green, 7 orange, 1 yellow, 10 orange.
The length of this chain should be equal to the circumference of the middle part of the egg. If you have a different number of beads placed in a chain of the required length, you need to change the number of orange beads at the end of the chain (that is, dial not 10 orange beads, like mine, but for example, 8 or 12 beads). In the same way, you will need to change the number of orange beads in all subsequent rows - at the beginning of each even row and at the end of each odd row.

We weave the remaining rows with a brick stitch:
2nd row: orange + orange, 8 orange, 2 yellow, 6 orange, 6 green, 1 orange, 3 green, 1 orange, 3 green, 5 orange, 2 yellow, 3 orange;
3rd row: orange + orange, 2 orange, 1 yellow, 7 orange, 4 green, 4 orange, 2 green, 1 orange, 2 green, 6 orange, 1 yellow, 10 orange;
4th row: orange+orange, 6 orange, 1 yellow, 1 orange, 2 blue, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 4 orange, 2 green, 1 orange, 2 green, 4 orange, 3 green, 5 orange, 1 yellow, 1 orange, 2 blue, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 1 orange;
5th row: orange+yellow, 1 yellow, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 blue, 2 yellow, 5 orange, 2 green, 5 orange, 4 green, 4 orange, 2 yellow, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 blue, 2 yellow, 7 orange;
6th row: orange+orange, 6 orange, 1 yellow, 1 orange, 2 blue, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 4 orange, 2 green, 1 orange, 2 green, 4 orange, 3 green, 5 orange, 1 yellow, 1 orange, 2 blue, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 1 orange;
7th row: orange + orange, 2 orange, 1 yellow, 7 orange, 4 green, 4 orange, 2 green, 1 orange, 2 green, 6 orange, 1 yellow, 10 orange;
8 row: orange + orange, 8 orange, 2 yellow, 6 orange, 6 green, 1 orange, 3 green, 1 orange, 3 green, 5 orange, 2 yellow, 3 orange;
9 row: orange + orange, 2 orange, 1 yellow, 5 orange, 3 green, 2 orange, 3 green, 1 orange, 5 green, 7 orange, 1 yellow, 10 orange.

After we have woven the beaded fabric, it must be sewn into a belt. To do this, fold the canvas so that both of its short sides are in contact with each other.

And we sew the fabric, sewing the first bead of each row to the last bead of the same row.

Having thus attached the first and last beads in all rows to each other, we get a beaded belt,

which should cover the middle part of the egg.

Next we need to braid the tops of the egg. Since when weaving the tops the number of beads in each row decreases, weaving must be done directly on the egg, since otherwise it is impossible to determine in which exact place it is necessary to reduce the number of beads.

First we braid one of the tops. We braid the first few beads with a brick stitch in the usual way.

In the place where it is necessary to reduce the number of beads in a row, we do this: first, we put one bead on the thread and, in the usual way, pass the needle under the piece of thread connecting the beads of the bottom row, above which the bead being woven in is usually located.

We pull out the thread, but do not pass the needle through the bead being woven in yet!

Then we pass the needle under the piece of thread connecting the next beads in the bottom row (that is, under the next piece of thread),

and only after that we pass the needle in the opposite direction through the bead being woven.

We tighten the thread - the new bead lies not between the two beads of the bottom row, but directly above the first “free” bead in the bottom row.

We braid another new bead in the usual way; At the same time, we pass the needle under the next piece of thread between the beads in the bottom row. We definitely skip the segment that we used in the previous step, although it may look suitable.

The next photo clearly shows where, instead of the two beads usually added, we wove in only one. If small gaps are visible between the beads, this is not a problem, because when we add the next row on top, the beads of the current row will be slightly attracted to each other and the gaps between them will decrease.

We carry out further weaving in a similar way, gradually reducing the number of beads in the row. In this case, the number of beads to be reduced must be determined solely by location, so that, on the one hand, new row tightly fit the egg, and on the other hand, so that there were as few empty spaces as possible between the beads in the row.
Usually, if the initial belt fits tightly around the middle part of the egg, in subsequent rows the places where beads should be reduced are quite clearly visible.

When we have completed a row, we need to connect its first and last beads together so that the row begins to fit tightly around the egg.

To do this, first pass the needle through the first bead in the row in the direction from the top of the egg to its center,

and then we pass the needle into reverse side, but through the last bead of the current row.

When going through the next row, try to ensure that the decrease in beads is not located directly above the previous decrease, that is, so that the beads are woven over the gaps in the previous row - this way they will attract the beads in the bottom row to each other and the gaps between them will be less noticeable.

Thus, adding row after row and gradually reducing the number of beads in each row, we must completely weave first one top of the egg, and then the other top.

When braiding the tops, I made each new row monochromatic, changing the color of the beads every two rows. My first two new rows are orange, the next two rows are yellow, the next two are light green, etc.

There is no big difference in which top you braid first, but for beginners, I recommend braiding the top of the egg first, and then the bottom. In this case, the upper part of the egg must be completely covered with beads,

and in the lower part, the weaving can be completed when the egg can stand on its own, resting on the beads, that is, one or two rows before the top is completely covered with beads.

Just remember to check that the egg placed vertically does not have the workpiece visible from below.

And finally, a couple useful tips and tricks:
- for the very first experience of braiding an egg using this technique, I recommend weaving a fabric for the belt that is narrower and without a pattern;
- when weaving a beaded fabric, try to choose smaller beads for the edges (that is, for the 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th rows), and slightly larger beads for the middle part of the fabric. Even in the Czech beads I used, in the same package there are beads of slightly different sizes. This is a property of beads, usually negative, in in this case allows you to weave a belt that will initially fit slightly around the egg.

Master class on making your own Easter souvenir

Vyaltseva Yulia Konstantinovna, teacher of the Children's Children's Institution Bureysky kindergarten No. 50 "Teremok", Bureysky district, Amur region.
The master class is intended for children of high school age, teachers and parents who are passionate about creativity.

Purpose: interior decoration, gift option for Easter.
Target. Making an Easter souvenir with your own hands.
Tasks.
1. Learn how to make an egg using the papier-mâché technique and decorate it with a mosaic of beads and seed beads.
2. Develop imagination, individual creativity, independence, hard work.
3. Develop fine motor skills hand, eye.
4. Cultivate aesthetic taste, the desire to bring joy from creation to yourself and your loved ones.
5. Cultivate caution when working with glue, needle and beads, accuracy, patience, perseverance.

Among the significant Christian holidays, Easter can be called, without exaggeration, a triumph of celebrations.
On Easter it is customary to congratulate all friends and relatives. And although you can give your neighbors anything you want, preference is still given to Easter eggs. But what they will look like is up to you to decide. The choice is so great that your eyes run wild and your hands reach out to work. I propose to make an Easter souvenir, decorating it with a mosaic of beads and seed beads. This memorable gift will serve as a talisman, a talisman for those you love and for whom you wish well.

First we need to make an egg shape using the papier-mâché technique, which we will decorate.

The birthplace of papier-mâché is China, where paper was invented. The Chinese used papier-mâché for helmets and other items, which were stiffened with many layers of varnish. The products were made by layer-by-layer gluing small pieces of wet paper onto a pre-prepared model. IN classical technique from several to 100 layers of paper are applied.

For work we will need the following materials:
- PVA glue, paste (but you can do without it);
- newspaper, toilet paper;
- a brush, water and a foam blank for decorating in the shape of an egg measuring 8-10 cm (if there is no shape, you can make an egg the right size from plasticine).

So let's begin.
1. Tear newspaper and toilet paper into small pieces.

2. Glue the first layer of toilet paper onto the mold, moistening it only with water. Glue the next layer of newsprint using paste and PVA glue. We alternate layers several times.

3. Leave the egg until completely dry. After drying, carefully cut the resulting shape along the drawn line.

4. Take it out foam blank.

5. We connect the egg halves, cover them again with newsprint, dry them, sand them with fine sandpaper, and paint them with white acrylic paint or gouache.

Next, let's start decorating the Easter egg.
For this we need:
pink and dark pink beads of different sizes, white, pink and dark pink beads;
scissors, white and red threads, bead needle;
a piece of dark velor fabric;
universal glue “Moment”.

So, let's get creative.
1. Glue a strip of velor fabric 2-3 centimeters wide along the ovoid curve.

2. We string white beads onto a double white thread so that the thread covers the large pink bead around the circumference.

3. Glue a bead ring and a bead to the center of the egg.

4. We will collect medium-sized pink beads on a red thread, having first secured the first bead with a knot.

5. Glue a ring of beads to the workpiece around it.

6. We symmetrically decorate the other part of the Easter egg.

7. Next, we will use dark pink beads to depict a cross - a symbol of Christianity.

8. Thread a sufficient amount of white beads onto a thread and glue it around the perimeter of the resulting cross.

9. We will repeat this stage of work twice more. First using pink beads.

10. Then use dark pink beads to emphasize the outline of the cross.

11. Don’t forget to decorate the back side of the egg symmetrically.

12. Now we need short threads with dark pink beads strung on them. We will use them to cover the fabric along the contour.

13. Now we prepare a lot of threads using pink and dark pink beads with a length equal to the unformed spaces.

14. Carefully glue them, carefully masking the thread knots.

15. This is what the symmetrical sides of an Easter egg look like.

16. Let’s shape the craft according to an ovoid curve. To do this, we will make a pink bead ring equal to the circumference of the large pink bead.

17. Glue a bead and a ring to the top of the egg. Let's add another ring of dark pink beads.

18. Let's make similar jewelry with smaller dark pink beads.

19. Glue them on the sides.

20. Using chalk or soap, draw swirls on the fabric.

21. Carefully glue bead threads of the required length onto the drawn curls.

22. Easter egg is ready.

Now let's start decorating the stand for this Easter egg. We will use the following materials:
cardboard, compass, scissors;
white and red threads, pink and dark pink beads, medium-sized beads;
universal glue.

Let's get to work.
1. Using a compass, draw two circles on cardboard with a radius of 2 and 4 cm.

2. Cut out the ring along the contour and glue it into a cone.

3. Gather dark pink beads and seed beads onto a thread, alternating them. Glue the first bottom row to the stand.

4. We will continue to decorate the stand with beaded threads, varying the color at our discretion.

We have prepared two for you step-by-step master class with photos and diagrams. They describe in detail how you can braid Easter eggs from beads quickly and without making mistakes. One, is the ideal option for a beautiful and original gift. The second one provides the opportunity to make an egg without special skills and takes little time to produce. Such elegant products will be a worthy gift or decoration for the interior of your home for Easter.

Easter eggs made of beads with spring lilies of the valley.

Step-by-step master - class No. 1

There are a great many options for weaving Easter eggs from beads. For example, our version looks a little unusual, but undoubtedly beautiful. It turns out that an Easter egg made of beads with lilies of the valley is in a beautiful stand and framed with spring flowers.

Where to start

Weaving an Easter egg with beads begins with preparing lily of the valley flowers and collecting them into a single inflorescence. The next step is to weave the leaves and assemble the elements of the four flowers together.
Then we move on to making the base - the stand. After this, we braid the Easter eggs themselves from beads. Photos of all stages of production will certainly make your work easier. Follow them and you will succeed.

Step 1: weaving lily of the valley flowers

First we will make our lilies of the valley. To do this, take beads and a vice. We cover the edges of the instrument with adhesive tape in two layers so as not to damage the beads.

Now we cut off the top of the beads. At the exit we get a smooth flat surface on one side of the inlet. This action will allow us in the future to place the top of the flower on this plane and glue it to the bead without any difficulty

Then we take our gold metallized thread, fold it in two layers and string 6 pearl-colored beads.

Pass the thread through the holes in the beads. We perform this action several times to secure the beads more firmly and reliably. Then we send both ends of the thread into another bead towards each other. We also send thin wire there.

Next, we insert our stamens into the sawn bead, and drip a little glue onto the sawn top. Any remaining adhesive must be wiped off immediately with a soft cloth. Any napkin you have will do. If this is not done right away, the glue will remain on the surface of our stamen and will stick out unattractively from the beautiful flower. This is simply not acceptable)

We decorate the flower stem by wrapping the wire with dense turns of thread.

We will need a lot of such flower preparations. Remember that the inflorescence must consist of flowers of three sizes. The first ones are the smallest, made of small diameter beads. The second ones are medium-sized beads, and the third ones are the largest. The number of flowers depends on the inflorescence, i.e. how many elements will be on one lily of the valley stem.

Step 2: form branches with flowers

After this we form lily of the valley branches. The smallest bead will be the top flower, and the largest will be the bottom flower. So, our beaded Easter egg will look like a real plant.

Step 3: weaving leaves

We recall the techniques of hand weaving and in this way we form several bright green leaves for the lily of the valley. We make them in two sizes. The leaf that will be in the middle should be longer than the leaves on the sides. They should not differ in width.

Step 4: collect a flower sprig

Then we form a ready-made branch of lily of the valley flowers. We connect three flower branches and three leaves. So our beaded Easter egg decoration is ready. The master class moves on to the main step of making the product.

Step 5: weave an Easter egg from beads with laces

We braid the Easter egg with beads in a way convenient for you, and then make 4 embroidered stripes. They will help us divide the product into 4 parts in this way.

For a beautiful top we make a “crown”. When weaving, we place a bead of the largest diameter in the middle of the crown.
Then we sew the crown and stripes to the egg shirt. It is better to perform this action with monofilament or gold thread. The stitches should be small and placed exactly in the middle, where the sides of two adjacent beads touch.

Since preparing the egg itself is very heavy, we strengthen the woven stand. In our case, the ring left over from the tape helped us.

Step 5: weave the stand

The final stage in our making of the most magnificent egg is the formation and weaving of the stand. It should only be performed after the previous stages have been completely completed. After all, only in this case can you not make a mistake with the dimensions of our stand.
We weave the stand “Ndebele”, but its appearance is left to your imagination. You can give it the shape of a tube or vase. But under no circumstances should you do it completely straight down, because in this case, your beaded Easter egg will constantly fall and there’s nothing you can do to fix it later.

Another trick that is constantly used when weaving eggs from beads is additional strengthening of the stand. This could be a ring from adhesive tape, a plastic cutout from a bottle, or a ring glued together from thick cardboard. Any strong material that every needlewoman has at home will do.
After completing the work with the stand, we move on to sewing our bouquets into place. We form a beautiful frame and straighten all the flowers. And at the very end, we sew the egg to the stand so that it can be picked up and put on display for “brag-offs” without fear.
That's it, our magnificent creation is ready! All that remains is to straighten the beads with tweezers and enjoy the result of the work. These Easter eggs will be a wonderful gift for your loved ones.

Step-by-step master - class No. 2

Easter eggs beading for beginners is a very complex and sometimes simply insurmountable product, due to the seemingly difficult execution pattern at first glance. But we, in our master class, want to dispel this myth and show our readers that you can create unique gifts without difficulty. readable diagrams and unnecessary actions.

What you need to get started

We will need a wooden egg blank. But blanks made of plastic or foam will do just fine. You can also use oval eggs from Kinder Surprise, or simply make the blanks yourself from clay, plasticine, or plasterboard. An ordinary egg is usually not used, because it is very fragile and it is problematic to braid it. And then you don’t really want to spoil such beauty.

Step 1: paint the workpiece

We begin work by painting the workpiece. We use durable paints, preferably acrylic based. Choose a bright, eye-catching color. If necessary, repeat the coloring for a more saturated shade.

Step 2: string beads

To correctly braid Easter eggs with beads, patterns for beginners need to choose the most basic ones. They should not be incomprehensible to craftswomen at any stage of weaving. It is best to choose patterns that you have already used before when making baubles or canvases.
In the manufacture of our product, we used a pattern that is widely used in weaving ordinary bracelets. It is simple and does not require special knowledge.
After the workpiece has completely dried, we begin stringing beads and braiding the egg.
We cut 60 cm of fishing line from the reel and string 8 yellow beads onto it. We close them in a circle, crossing the ends of the fishing line in the last 2 beads collected. This results in a ring and two separately located ends of the fishing line.

Now we string 2 beads on both ends, then two more, in which we cross our tails. We have formed a new ring. Make sure that the ends of the fishing line always come out with a difference of two beads; the equal links of our chain depend on this.

Step 3: weave a chain

We continue weaving according to this pattern. When the chain reaches the required length, we insert the last link into the first, thereby closing the circle. And in order not to make a mistake with the dimensions, we apply the canvas to our egg at the widest point. We weave the second chain in a similar way.

Step 4: weaving beads

We form the central part of our egg. We take two woven chains and previously prepared large beads. We weave all the elements together, placing the bead in the middle, between the two chains.

We continue weaving until the first bead. Then we insert the fishing line to its middle and into the bead next to it. We secure the fishing line on the wrong side with several knots. We fasten the ends, cut them off and lightly singe them while pressing them to the bead. Turn the product right side out.

Step 5: braid the workpiece

Now we attach a 20-centimeter piece of fishing line through the link and string beads on it in the following sequence - 8 yellow beads, a small bead white, and 8 more yellow beads. So, in a circle, not forgetting that you need to skip one link.

We connect all the strings with beads together. We tie a strong knot. We cut the fishing line and burn the excess ends.
To make the tops of our product more neat, we can complement the last step by weaving in medium-sized beads. And only then make the final knot. This way, all the ugly tying of the ends of the fishing line will be hidden in the gap of the new bead, which will certainly improve appearance products.
To prevent our Easter eggs from dangling in a beautiful beaded frame, adjust the weaving patterns to the size of your workpiece. It is no secret that different manufacturers produce products of different sizes and thus the proposed braiding pattern may not be suitable for you. Therefore, if necessary, shift the chain links by one, adjust the size of the “belt”. Or add an additional bead to the side elements of the frame. Then all the elements will merge together and you will get true beauty.

We decorate the second side of the egg in the same way. Only we got it a little larger, so instead of 8 beads, we’ll take 11.

That's it, the master class is over. A simple but attractive souvenir in the form of an Easter egg decorated with beads, made by yourself, is ready.

We hope you enjoyed the beaded Easter eggs! Based on our master classes, you can easily weave other types. You can see weaving patterns in our articles in this category or select the category about making bracelets.
Try new things, combine the unexpected and then everything will work out! Good luck with your work and happy holiday!

On the eve of the bright holiday of Easter, I want to create an atmosphere and beauty in the house. Following tradition, we paint eggs and buy or make souvenirs for our loved ones. Just a beautiful decorative Easter egg made of beads, made by yourself, can become such a souvenir and decoration for the holiday. In this article we will look in detail at how to make Easter eggs from beads, weaving patterns for beginners and tips on choosing material and execution techniques.

The most important thing in beading is the beads themselves. Sometimes they give advice to beginners to choose simpler and cheaper beads. But it’s better not to do this. Buy several shades of good quality beads and weave with pleasure. You will understand in your work that no other material can compare with high-quality Japanese or Czech beads. It is smooth, with smooth edges, and the same size.

The finished product, even if made by the hands of a novice craftswoman, will look decent and will add neatness and dignity to your product. So, the best beads are Japanese. We will include Toho beads among them. But Czech also looks good, only if it is not a fake. You should think about the pattern and color scheme for your product in advance and buy the colors that will be useful to you. It is important to know that the beads differ in numbers. The higher the number, the smaller the bead size. No. 10 is suitable for braiding eggs.

In addition, you will also need fishing line. This can be a special thin monofilament for weaving or regular sewing thread to match the main color of the beads. You will also need a needle. There are special needles for beading. They are flexible and thin.

Now we come to the next one, very important point- basis for Easter eggs. You can take any artificial egg made of plastic, foam, or wood. It is better to pre-glue a foam egg with a simple one. toilet paper and paint it so that it is smooth and does not crumble. But if the foam is well compressed, then this need not be done.

Some craftswomen braid natural eggs. To do this, you need to pierce the shell at the top and bottom and pump out the contents. Dry the shell, cover it with toilet paper and PVA glue, dry it and start weaving. Each craftswoman chooses an acceptable and more convenient base for weaving.

Simple weaving patterns

Beaded holiday eggs always look festive, bright and interesting. They certainly attract attention. The pattern on them can be completely different. This is a geometric pattern, which is obtained by combining beads different colors and even sizes in a certain sequence, and floral motifs. In addition, it is quite possible to weave letters, traditional “ХВ” for Great Easter. Even a beginner can master such interesting and at the same time simple Easter eggs made of beads, and weaving patterns for beginners are presented step by step in the article below.

Let's try to make an egg with letters and a geometric pattern. Detailed master class with descriptions and diagrams for braiding Easter eggs from beads, created especially for beginners.

For work we will prepare:

  1. Czech beads No. 10 several shades. Choose no more than 3-4 shades that combine well with each other and match your idea.
  2. Monofilament or sewing thread with a beading needle.
  3. The base is in the form of a wooden egg blank. You can choose plastic or plastic.
  4. Glue "Moment Crystal" or any other suitable for polymer surfaces.

When everything is ready, let's start the process:

  1. First we string several beads for the base, the lower part of the egg. We do this according to the diagram in the photo.
  2. First, we collect 7 beads in a circle.
  3. Then we expand the diameter, attach beads in a circle, alternate colors according to the diagram and our idea.
  4. The important point is the closure of the series. It is important to return the needle and thread to the bead with which the row began, so that it is completed and secured.
  5. When we have a small heel for the bottom of the testicle, we need to carefully glue it to the base.
  6. Let's wait a little for the glue to dry and the surfaces to set.
  7. Now we continue weaving along the egg. We expand the surface.
  8. We weave in rows, alternating the color of the beads.
  9. From the 17th row you can already see the formed flower.
  10. We continue weaving the pattern, carefully alternating the color of the beads.
  11. Now you need to mark on the workpiece the place where the letters will be located for convenience.
  12. When we have reached the intended letters, we begin to weave beads according to a pattern of a different color to represent these letters.
  13. The letter diagram is given below for convenience.
  14. Forming letters.
  15. Now the final stage, we braid the crown.
  16. Here comes the tapering cloth.
  17. We weave beads of different shades according to the pattern.
  18. We complete our weaving with one bead, as at the beginning of the process, placing it in the center.
  19. Pass the finishing circle of 6 beads several times to secure and secure the thread, hide the tip.

This is not the easiest weaving option, but it is very interesting and quite accessible for beginners.

The easiest way to braid eggs with beads

And now another option on how you can braid an egg with small beads simply and quickly. The result is no less beautiful and amazing than in the previous description.

The video that follows shows in detail the pattern of weaving an Easter egg from beads for beginners. This is a simple geometric weaving option that is accessible to everyone. Its principle is to string a certain number of beads on a thread in a certain order of colors and paste tightly in a spiral along the entire surface of the workpiece.

You will also need a blank, a thread with a needle and beads of the selected colors for this work. It is important to choose a good glue. It’s better to take Moment Crystal. It dries quite quickly and no traces are visible.

A stick will also come in handy to adjust the spirals of beads so that they lie flat.

During the weaving process, we string beads onto a thread, alternating shades of beads in a certain sequence. We fix the thread with beads with glue, coating small area workpiece surface.

Easter egg made of beads and beads

Here is another amazing option for creating an Easter egg from beads and beads. It is suitable for beginners, the work here is quite simple. Be sure to make yourself such a souvenir for the Easter holiday. He will decorate yours festive table or room, will definitely attract the attention and admiration of guests.

  1. To work you need to prepare:
  2. Egg preparation.
  3. Beads in white and blue shades.
  4. Monofilament and needle.
  5. Beads are blue or dark blue.

Follow the diagram shown in the video. After the base is ready, start weaving the belt for the middle. The diagram and sequence of actions is presented in the video below.

After the top, bottom and middle parts are ready, connect them together on the surface of the workpiece with a seam using monofilament and a needle.

How to bead an Easter egg, a lesson for beginners

Beading can seem like a daunting process for beginners. Well, it wasn’t the gods who burned the pots, was it? So it is here. You just need to carefully understand the diagrams, and everything will go like clockwork. But you will have something to be proud of when you see a real work of art created by your skillful hands.

You should start with the simplest technique, which is called hand weaving. The essence of the technique is this: the egg is completely covered with beads, which are woven one after another and laid out in neat lines.
You shouldn’t resort to complex patterns right away either. Rows of multi-colored beads are just right for the first lessons.

Preparing materials and supplies

  • Beads (No. 1) in five different but matching colors.
  • Wooden egg
  • Nylon thread
  • Scissors.

Briefly, the process of braiding an egg looks like this:

  • First, a belt is created for the widest part of the egg. It consists of two rows.
  • Then the belt continues in rows with the same number of beads. The number of rows depends on the size of the workpiece. At this stage, the widest part is decorated.
  • Next, weaving occurs to the top of the egg with a gradual reduction of the beads.
  • Then the rows are woven on the other side of the belt.

Step-by-step weaving instructions for beginners

  1. String two beads of different colors onto a thread. Number them for yourself. 1 and 2 – one shade, 3 and 4 – another.

  2. Move them 10 centimeters from the tip of the thread with a knot.
  3. Enter the needle from the side of the thread knot, thread 1 and 2 beads.

  4. Tighten the thread. What will we see? The beads are arranged in two rows, with one color above the other. This is the beginning of the belt.

  5. String a bead of the first color (like numbers 1 and 2), then another one of a different color, like 3 and 4.

  6. Pull the thread. As a result, the last beads will continue the belt, and will fall according to the color.

  7. In this way, the entire belt is adjusted to the required length. It should match the circumference of the middle of the egg.
  8. Now the belt needs to be connected. To do this, you need to thread the needle into bead number 1, which is at the very beginning.

  9. Then thread a bead of a different color (number 4), which is located above the first one.

  10. Next, thread the needle through the bead at the end of the belt, corresponding to the color of the 4th bead.

  11. Then into the bead of the first color located at the end of the belt.
  12. Then into the bead of the first color, located at the very beginning, the same one with which we started.

  13. Pull the weave together and the belt is ready.
  14. Bring the needle to the top row, start weaving the third row with a new color. Please note that the number of beads here will remain the same. We need to make the belt wide enough so that it holds well on the workpiece. Work can be continued both on the workpiece and in weight. It's just as convenient for you.

  15. Thread a bead of the third color onto the thread.

  16. Point the needle in the opposite direction and thread the bead of the bottom row. Just be sure to have the one above which the new one is located.

  17. Next, thread the needle into the collected bead. What have we done? The new piece was firmly tied to the main weave.

  18. Cast on the third row in the same way.

  19. At the end of the new row, sew the stitching by pulling the thread through all the beads. This is done in order to create a tight weave.

  20. Cast on the required number of rows with the same number of beads. It is determined by the size of the egg.
  21. Hide the tail of the thread left at the very beginning. Start braiding the second half of the egg according to the same pattern.

This is how we braided the Easter egg from row to row. Ours is simply magnificent! You can decorate the holiday table and give it as a gift.

Having filled your hand, you can move on to more complex patterns. Whatever you waste time looking for diagrams, I suggest you very interesting options. Study, craft, surprise, delight!

I can only wish you creative success, and hope for new meetings in the Altynai blog workshop. See you soon!
