We make a Christmas tree with our own hands for the New Year. How to make a Christmas tree with your own hands? How to make a Christmas tree out of paper at home with your own hands for kindergarten - step-by-step master class with photos

Creative Christmas trees are good because they are unusual; they can be created from the most different materials, and edible trees will become a decoration and the main highlight of the New Year's table.

How to make a Christmas tree from plastic bottles?

To make such a fluffy beauty, take:
  • green plastic bottles;
  • scissors;
  • scotch;
  • a wooden stick, the diameter of which is slightly smaller than the hole in the neck of the bottle.
Prepare containers by removing labels and washing them. For each bottle you need to cut off the neck and bottom, cut the rest into several rectangles, chop them into strips, but not completely.

Trim the shoulders of the bottle, leaving only the neck. You will put a wooden stick into it. Starting from the bottom, attach the blanks from the bottle here so that the fringe points up.

We decorate the entire trunk, and attach a small part on top, which will become the top.

The blanks must be fastened in such a way that the largest ones are at the bottom and the smallest at the top.

Here's what else a Christmas tree made from plastic bottles can be like. Making one with your own hands is also quite simple.

To reproduce this masterpiece, take:
  • green plastic bottles;
  • scissors;
  • a wooden stick of a suitable size.
Remove the labels from the bottles and proceed with the blanks as follows: cut off the bottom, cut the remaining part into 10 identical strips, almost reaching the shoulders of the bottle.

Now you need to make diagonal cuts on sides 1 and 2 of each tape. Fold the resulting fragments over one another.

Take the bottom of a large bottle, make a hole in it, insert the neck of the bottle into it, into which a wooden stick is inserted. Secure this part of the structure with a cork by screwing it onto the neck.

Place pre-made parts on the stick, starting with the largest bottle and ending with the smallest one.

If you strung all the parts onto the barrel with the neck down, then place the last one with the neck up. Secure the tree by placing a lid on the top of the tree.

The result was a wonderful tall tree made from plastic bottles. From this container you can make an even larger tree by placing the bottles, for example, on a mop.

If you want to make a cone-shaped tree, then roll a piece of paper or cardboard in this way. Cut off the neck of the bottle and insert a paper blank here. Cut trapezoidal fragments from other parts of the container. Chop the longest edges of each piece into equal strips, not reaching the top 2 cm.

Secure these elements with tape, arranging them in ascending order, starting with large and ending with small.

This is what should happen in the end.

If, for example, you work in a grocery store, then you can put up a large Christmas tree made from plastic bottles, which will certainly attract customers. To do this, you need to arrange the bottles in a circle in rows, and place plywood circles on them. Each subsequent tier is smaller than the diameter of the previous one. There should be 3 bottles left closer to the top; place a star on top.

Even empty plastic bottles will become an excellent decorative element. You can backlight it so that the trees sparkle attractively at dusk.

Other waste materials will also become a picturesque Christmas tree.

Making a Christmas tree out of paper with your own hands - master class

Once magazines are read, they are usually thrown away. But you can do it differently, make a paper tree. To create it, you can use newspapers and old books.

Here is a list of what is needed:
  • a sheet of cardboard or whatman paper;
  • colorful magazine;
  • shaped hole punch;
  • glue gun or PVA;
  • pencil.
First you need to roll the cardboard into a cone and glue it to fix it in this position. Prepare decorative elements. To do this, cut them out from a magazine or book using zigzag scissors or a hole punch.

These parts need to be given a rounded shape. To do this, screw each one onto a pencil. Now you can glue them to the base, starting from the bottom.

Place the pieces as close to each other as possible so that the cardboard is not visible between them. Glue in rows, placing the elements on top of each other. Wrap one of them around the top of your head. The paper Christmas tree is ready.

If you like clean lines, then check out the next option.

This tree would be appropriate in an office. On the one hand, it has a strict shape, and on the other, it looks festive. Here's what you need for this craft:
  • whatman;
  • double tape;
  • wrapping paper;
  • regular tape;
  • decorations;
  • scissors.
Instead of whatman paper, you can use thin cardboard. If you don't have a large enough piece, then you can create one from small ones using tape.

Roll this base into a ball and secure with tape.

The excess needs to be cut off.

Wrap the cone with wrapping paper. To do this, place it on a work surface, place a cardboard blank on top, and secure it with tape at the top of the head.

Wrap the cone completely, then secure the edges of the paper with double tape and trim off the excess.

The lower part of the tree must also be made flat by removing the paper here with scissors. Decorate the Christmas tree with a star, ribbons, you can decorate it with candies or beads.

Here's what else a paper Christmas tree can be like.

Take:
  • skewer;
  • designer paper or colored cardboard;
  • thick cardboard;
  • glue or glue gun.
Draw a square on thick cardboard, cut it out and glue it to a skewer. Cut out circles of the same size first. Make holes in them and place them on a skewer pre-lubricated with glue. Then make several slightly smaller circles. The tree trunk itself is also decorated. Gradually cut out smaller and smaller circles and put them on the trunk.

Here's what kind of paper Christmas tree you can make using polystyrene foam.

For creativity you will need:
  • foam or cardboard;
  • green corrugated paper;
  • scissors;
  • adhesive tape;
  • masking tape;
  • marker;
  • PVA glue;
  • hook;
  • stationery knife.
Draw an acute angle on the foam or cardboard. If this is difficult to do, then follow the photo tips. First draw a vertical line, then two horizontal ones, after which you will have an even angle. If you want to make a large Christmas tree, then simply glue several fragments together using tape.

Cut the strip corrugated paper, chop it with scissors in the form of a fringe, slightly short of reaching the opposite edge. Start gluing these decorated ribbons from the bottom.

When the entire creative tree is decorated in this way, decorate it as you wish. Glue a rectangle of cardboard from the bottom, having previously painted it in brown. But you can do without this part of the trunk. To attach the tree to the wall, use a hook or double tape.

This is what a wonderful Christmas tree came out of paper. Textile models are very interesting; for them you can use leftover material.

Christmas tree made of fabric and threads

To make such a stylish beauty, take:
  • felt;
  • cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • double tape or glue.

It is better to take material in two shades, then the creative Christmas tree will look more contrasting.

Roll the cardboard into a cone. You can wrap the bottom part with a small amount of tinsel. Cut felt circles and use scissors to make intersecting sections in the middle. They are needed in order to put the felt blanks on the base, which is what you will do. These X-shaped cuts will also help the circles become wavy.

First put on the larger blanks, then the medium ones, the smallest ones will be on top. When you fill the entire cone, all you have to do is decorate your creation and admire what a beautiful fabric Christmas tree you have made.

You can also make a very cute tree from threads.

To make this, take:
  • a cone made of foam plastic or cardboard;
  • fleecy yarn;
  • pins;
  • decorations;
  • thick yarn.
If you don't have a foam cone, then roll one out of cardboard. To make the work progress faster, make turns with two threads at once. Attach them to the base with pins.

When you have formed the entire cone, do not cut these two threads, but now wrap them around the base, moving down.

Cut the thread and secure the remaining end with a pin. Decorate the Christmas tree with beads or buttons, and also attach them with a pin or sewing.

The next creative DIY Christmas tree is made from wire and thread. Help yourself with pliers or round nose pliers, bend a piece of wire so that it looks like a star. Attach a thinner wire to it, which must first be rolled into a cone. Wrap it with threads. You can simply make such a star out of wire and attach it to the top of the blue Christmas tree you just created.

Edible Christmas tree: step-by-step preparation

To make one, take:
  • wooden skewer;
  • apple;
  • cucumbers;
  • red and yellow sweet peppers;
  • plate.
You can use wooden skewers or one half of a chopstick.

Place the apple half cut side down on a platter or plate. Stick a skewer into it. Chop the cucumber into not too thin slices.

Place these slices on a skewer, starting with the largest one. Place them in checkerboard pattern or approximately so that they look like Christmas tree branches.

Cut small pieces from red and yellow peppers. Place them on some cucumbers or secure them with toothpicks. Thread an elongated piece of pepper onto the top of the head, closing the skewer on top.

You can decorate a New Year's dish with this tree, for example, a salad. Place a little parsley along the edge of the plate, which will symbolize green grass.

  • large carrots;
  • apple;
  • kiwi;
  • strawberries;
  • toothpicks;
  • grape;

Place the carrot in the hole. Stick toothpicks into it. Thread kiwi halves, strawberries and grapes onto them. The star can be cut from a suitable fruit or vegetable, or from a thick piece of cheese. Decorate a plate with greenery to make the tree look even more picturesque.

The next tree is made from apples. To prevent them from darkening, the cut slices should be dipped in a solution of lemon juice for 15 minutes.

First you need to cut out the middle of the apples, then chop these fruits into circles. Using a knife or a special notch, give these blanks a star shape. Place it on a plate and place a slightly smaller piece on top. Adhering to this tactic, lay the Christmas tree to the end. Decorate it with cranberries and physalis.

If you are making a New Year's salad, lay it out in a cone-shaped mound and compact it. Slice the leek leaves to resemble sharp angles. Stick the resulting decorations into the salad so that the leaves turn into twigs. Decorate the Christmas tree with finely chopped carrots.

If you don't have leeks, then you can garnish the salad with dill. Look at the photos to see how to arrange the branches, starting from the bottom.

If you use kiwi for this, use unripe ones so that the circles stick tightly to the base.

Meat lovers will also not be left at a loss. After all, an edible Christmas tree can be created from salami slices.

DIY shabby chic style Christmas tree

Let's make this amazingly beautiful and original craft in a trendy shabby chic style.

Required materials.

For the base, take a large paper glass or any plastic container. Separately, dilute alabaster or gypsum with water to the thickness of liquid sour cream and pour it into the future pot. We secure the trunk of our tree, plant the branch in the center and fix it in this position until it hardens.

We make a cone out of cardboard using a stapler.

We make the top of the spruce from wire and foam rubber.

We connect the top to the trunk and attach the cone.

We wrap the base of the tree with white fur.

We cut off the excess from below.

Then we bend the ends of the burlap inward and attach it with hot glue.

Let's get to the fun part - decorating our Christmas tree in shabby chic style.

To create the finished composition we will need a stand.

We make a bench from a bamboo napkin.

From white fur - a snowman.

We attach a bell to the top of the spruce.

We decorate the New Year tree with beads, pearls, flowers, lace, etc.

Apply transparent glue to the very top of the tree.

And sprinkle with artificial snow.

We do the same with the bench.

Decorative Christmas tree made from napkins

We will make it from cardboard and single-layer napkins. You will also need beads for decoration.

First of all, we will build a frame for our Christmas tree. We roll a cone out of cardboard, fasten it (I stitched it with thread) and cut off the bottom of the cone exactly so that it can stand.

The base is ready, put it aside for now. Now let's move on to napkins. We will make roses from them. Single-layer plain paper napkins are suitable for us.

Take a napkin and cut it along the folds. Then we fold it in three and cut along the folds again.

We fold the resulting strips in three and cut them again. We got a square equal to 1/9 of a napkin.

We fasten this square in the center with a stapler.

Then cut a circle out of it. Mega-precision and accuracy are not required here at all; the finished rose can be slightly adjusted with scissors.

This way a rose is formed. If the finished rose seems uneven to you, you can trim it with scissors.

The number of such flowers depends on the size of your cardboard cone. My Christmas tree was 21cm high and I needed 59 roses for it.

When all the flowers are ready, we return to the cone. Starting from the top of the head, glue the flowers onto the cone so that the base is not visible. I glued it with hot glue (it’s more convenient for me), but ordinary PVA will do.

I made a Christmas tree out of napkins of two colors. If you also decide to create your own craft from multi-colored roses, then you can safely experiment with alternating them on a cone. If the result does not suit you, you can always tear off the flower and re-glue it to another place. In this case, only the lower layer of the flower will be damaged. We simply tear it off (the bottom layer). The rosette will not lose its appearance.

So, we glued the flowers to the cone. The Christmas tree itself is ready and you can stop at this stage.

I also decorated it with beads - I glued it with the same hot glue, PVA won’t help here.

Christmas tree made of plasticine with candies

What do we all associate with wonderful holiday New Year? With the smell of pine needles, bright lights, garlands, sweets. And children still create unusual crafts with your own hands, thereby bringing closer the pleasant moment of the onset of a fabulous night. They love creativity lessons on this topic most of all. It is in crafts that you can realize any fantasies.

We suggest making an elegant Christmas tree that can be easily decorated with candies. Make a craft from plasticine - the cheapest and most popular material. You will definitely make a beautiful souvenir if you follow our tips - they are not complicated.

To sculpt a Christmas tree with your own hands, prepare:

  • green plasticine for the crown;
  • stump in the form of a cap or an empty spool of thread;
  • toothpick, red and white plasticine for candy.

Select a green block of plasticine from the set. The body of the Christmas tree itself will be made from it, and in the future we will make small candies as toys. Of course, a small souvenir does not have to be green; another color that you choose will do. If you manage to find a set on sale that contains a gold bar, then this option will look rich.

Knead the entire prepared block thoroughly in your hands and prepare it for further work. It is necessary to form a cone-shaped crown, and not quite the usual flat one, but a curved one, similar to the cap of a fairy-tale gnome. Since we are talking about a magical holiday, it is not forbidden to fantasize and create something incredible.

Pull all the soft plasticine into a long cone. Make the upper part as sharp as possible, press the lower part around the circumference with your fingers, showing the skirt. Then take and bend the entire structure to the side. Sometimes the Christmas trees do not stretch up perfectly straight, but lean to the side like this.

For modeling Christmas tree decorations– small candies – use white and red plasticine. Form red round tablets ( inner part sweets), as well as white triangles (the twisted part of the candy wrappers).

Glue delicious candies together. Stick on each red round white dot and press in the center with a toothpick. Glue the triangular pieces on the sides.

Make enough decorative details to fill the entire surface of the Christmas tree, evenly distributing the candies around the circumference at some distance.

Glue all the resulting blanks to the crown. Beautiful New Year's craft it's almost ready. Press down a small lid - a stump - from below (or mold it from plasticine).

And the top is still missing. She just begs to be added to the resulting fairytale Christmas tree. Come up with some option, for example the same spruce branches in combination with red berries. All this looks festive and bright.

This is such a fantastic Christmas tree. This is an elegant version of crafts for the New Year, which will become a great gift for your favorite holiday.

The New Year is just around the corner - you need to hurry up to get everything done.

DIY felt Christmas tree

Let's do it Christmas trees made of felt - this is excellent christmas decoration and perfect for school or kindergarten.

Prepare for them:

  • Set of colored felt;
  • cotton wool;
  • glue "Moment" transparent;
  • any beads;
  • threads for knitting and sewing;
  • a needle;
  • scissors;
  • felt-tip pen.

Select matching colors felt. These can be different shades of green. Or you can show your imagination and make an unusual red or blue spruce. Fold a couple of sheets of felt together and draw the shape of a fir tree on the top one.

Cut a piece of felt with a pattern along its entire length and fold it in half as shown in the photo. We do this only if the felt is not very thick, otherwise it will be difficult to cut 4 layers at once.

Cut 4 blanks into shape.

To give them a bulge, put a little cotton wool, as shown in the photo.

Lubricate the edges of the workpiece with glue.

Cut a piece of knitting thread and attach it to the top of the workpiece, directly on the glue. It can be hung from it. Attach the second piece and press along the edge so that both parts stick together.

On a light Christmas tree, make stitches with threads of a darker green color. This will add originality to the craft.

Decorate the second with a border of pearl beads. To do this, make a layer of glue along the edge and place beads on it.

Now let your little one decorate them however he or she wishes. After drying, the craft is ready for use.

Such simple craft will be a great decoration for your Christmas tree. It can be given to grandparents. Older children will be able to do it completely on their own. Using this principle, you can make any felt decorations. Whatever your imagination suggests.
