Crocheted shark toy. Original crocheted children's blanket “Shark” from Bernat

Today we have a selection of creative sharks.

A shark is not only a toy, but also a cake. Evgeniya lives in Paris and has been creating cakes based on her customers’ fantasies for several years. I have never seen such a hardworking cook before :) She has a huge number of cakes.

Igor Andronov from Kyiv creates unique forged and jewelry according to the customer's sketch.
"You can order jewelry from different metals and in various techniques execution with any stones - here you can even set a simple lollipop in a gold frame)))
Regarding the form, don’t be shy - ask - nothing is impossible... all that can hinder the production of the plan is a lack of time and money)))
Products are made here from scratch - this is not a Chinese trinkets store - the work is made from sketch to finished product by one craftsman and this takes time."

Craftsmen from Skazkodrom (Moscow) sewed a shark from the cartoon "Sea Brigade". If you need a toy - a cartoon character, a fairy tale, a comic book, contact them. They will develop a pattern, sew it and give you a pet.

Two meter shark:

New sleeping bag from designer Kendra Phillips (Kendra Phillips). “It's a sleeping bag! It's a plush toy, IT'S A SHARK! In the process of making this shark, it became my favorite animal and I tried to make it more enjoyable. So I developed the ChumBuddy prototype. This seven-foot plush monster is made entirely by hand ( sewing machines hate me). It consists almost entirely of wool and weighs only 30 lbs. polyester

Cross-stitched is cute and good-natured :) Shark for use in scrap or as applique/finishing, can be decorated as an independent picture in a nursery.

Shark 6x12 cm, fabric size 15.5 x 11.5 cm.

Irina Er from Moscow creates bags and toys from fabric. " I create things for those who love the romance of the city: trams, wet architecture, pigeons, newspapers, cafes, jazz festivals, squares, etc...."

A couple of weeks ago, a stranger out of the blue... asked me to sew a netbook case for him...

I show you the result. The given style is childish and colorful. It was mandatory to include a kind shark in the design.

And the kindest shark is the one that sleeps, of course.

Well, while she’s sleeping, the fish don’t have to be afraid and quickly swim about their business. Do you see how they all swam at once?

"Algae" - cotton fabric on non-woven fabric.

I decided not to use felt because the surface had to remain perfectly smooth.

Perevozchikova Natalya from Podolsk also creates textile bags and toys.
"My creative path goes under the motto From Boredom to All Trades (I do various types handicrafts), that’s why my blog got its name. I have been doing handicrafts for a very long time, but I decided to open a store only recently, because... I think that professionalism has reached a level with which it is not a shame to go out in public)))."

Children are going to a friend's birthday party. The holiday will be celebrated in the style of "Underwater World". In this regard, I came up with this Shark costume. Since it’s hot outside and the celebration is planned outside, we had to deviate a little from the traditional carnival costumes, keeping the amount of clothing to a minimum. This minimum necessarily includes a cotton bucket hat with appliqués of four sharks, sewn according to the same pattern as previous, and a dorsal fin that fits like a backpack.

Veronica Repina from Gorny Altai works with wool. In addition to wool, silk, linen, cotton and much more are used to make things. She has a lot of felted hats, bags, and toys. Among them is the felt shark. her mouth closes with a zipper :)

The socks are knitted from two parts (white and blue) and sewn.

Let's start with the white belly of our fish. IN finished form it is like this:

Doesn't look like it, right?
I'm starting with four air loops, in each row adding one loop on each side. I knit the flares to the desired width of the insole.

And I begin to form the heel. I decrease on each side at the beginning and at the end of the row by knitting two loops together. Until there are only two loops left (or four, whichever is more convenient for you). Then I start adding two loops in a mirror image to the initial width. And I knit the height of the sock up. At the end I again make similar decreases and thus the mouth of the fish is formed.

This is the bottom folded so that it is clear where the heel is sewn.
These are not difficult actions.

Girls! You are so smart! Many people have already knitted halves of socks
Let's move on to blue. It's even easier

The beginning is like the white part. Also set, also added to the desired width. My halves are the same, that is, the width of the white one is the same as the width of the blue one.

So you knit to the desired length, at the end you form the head and sew the entire sock.
Take a closer look at the head to better understand the proportions of the white and blue parts:

To form the head, pick up air loops and connect them into a circle. I cast on 15 air loops

Then knit in the round. Three full circle rows. Divide the knitting into two parts and start knitting two together at the beginning and end of each part. Remember the mitten? This is the decrease. Until you close all the loops. The head is ready.

The fins are knitted in the same way as our sock pieces. We start with four loops and add two loops in each row. I have 14 rows on the top fin and 12 on the side fins. The piece is folded in half and stitched. The side fins are a seam on the inside, and the top one is on the outside and we pull it up a little, forming a bend.

The teeth are ordinary teeth: ch 3, double crochet 3 in one loop at the bottom.

Job Description

Socks are knitted in the following order:

— sole (2 pcs.)

- upper part of the sock (2 pcs.)

- teeth

- eyes

— side fins (4 parts)

— upper fins (4 parts)

Sole.

Using black yarn, cast on 4 VPs and knit RLS, adding 1 stitch on each side in each row to a total of 18 stitches. Then knit in a straight line to the “beginning of the heel”, the total number of rows from the beginning of knitting is 18. Start in the next row decreases, similar to increases: i.e. knit 2 stitches each. at the beginning at the end of the row to the remaining 4 sts. Then, without breaking the thread, repeat the decreases as at the beginning of knitting until the total number of 16 sts and knit another 8 rows in a straight line, in the next row repeat the decreases in the same way until the remaining 4 sts. Thread cut off.

Knit the second sole in the same way.

Upper part.

Yarn white dial on 4 VP and knit RLS in the same way as the sole, adding 18 sts to the total number. Next, knit in a straight line until the total number of rows from the beginning of knitting is 21. In the next row at the end of the row, cast on 15 VP, connect the knitting in a circle and knit 3 rows in a circle without decreases. Next, decrease along the edges on both sides, knitting 2 sts. to the remaining 3-4 sts. A “muzzle” is formed, fasten the thread from the wrong side.

Assembly. Stage 1.

Sew heel seams. Sew side seams, connecting the sole and the top of the socks.

Teeth.

Yarn gray tie along the edge of the “shark’s mouth” *3 VP, 3 DC in one center*.

Eyes.

Using black yarn with a thin hook No. 2.5, cast on 4 VPs, close in a circle, break the thread. Using gray yarn, tie the formed RLS chain behind the back half-loop, knitting 2-3 times 2 RLS in one center.

Complete 4 parts.

Lateral fins.

Using white yarn, cast on 3 VPs and knit with additions in the same way as the sole to a total of 14 sts, knit with a relief pattern in the back half loop.

Complete 4 parts.

Upper fins.

Knit in the same way as the side fins, but use “vest” stitches without a crochet.

Knit 4 parts.

Assembly. Stage 2.

Sew on the eyes.

Sew 2 side fins per seam at the level of the connection between the vertical and horizontal parts of the sock.

Sew together 2 parts of the upper fins. Sew the double top fin in the middle of the top of the “head”.

The socks are ready.

If you have children and you know how to crochet, then knit the original “Shark” blanket from Bernat. We have attached a video to this manual.

This polyester cocoon blanket, designed the way children like it, is a very useful thing. The kids will be happy to climb inside the picturesque “Shark”, hiding their legs inside, they will be warm and happy. You can carry a blanket anywhere, because it is easy to wash right in the machine, dries quickly and is generally extremely durable.

Blanket dimensions:
- the depth of the cocoon is 114? cm, we knit the tail additionally;
- the circle at the top has a length of 117 cm.
The authors from Bernat suggest knitting a blanket from their own Bernat Blanket yarn (300g/201m), which is pure polyester.
You will need skeins different colors, in the following quantity:
- 5 gray (No. 10046, Pale Grey) – thread A;
- 1 red (No. 13001, Race Car Red) – thread B;
- 1 white (No. 00006, Vintage White) – thread C;
- 1 black (No. 10040, Coal) – thread D.
That is, only 8 skeins. Colored skeins, all except gray, will only be partially used.

The thread of yarn is thick, we will crochet it with an 8 mm hook. We will knit the sample with half double crochets (dc/dc):
- knit 6 rows of 7 dc/dc = 10 cm.
This density must be maintained while working on the blanket.

In order for the canvas to lie flat and not pull together, we will follow the following rules:
- we will close each circular row (krgr) by knitting 1 connect/pt (connecting st) in the 1st st (loop) of the next krgr;
- 2 ch at the beginning of krgr do not count as pst/dc - this is a rise.

Knitting a blanket “Shark”
Take thread A (gray), knit a chain of 80 chain stitches. Let's close them in a circle.

Shark body
1st krgr: 2 ch; knit 1 dc/dc in each ch = 80 pt.
2nd crgr: ch 2; knit 1 dc/dc in each stitch.
We repeat this 2nd step all the time, up to a canvas height of 61 cm.

Let's start making a narrowing of the circular canvas, forming a “shark body”.
1st group:
- 2 ch; * We knit 1 pst/dc in each of the 8th st/dc; knit 2 dc/dc together *; repeat *-* on crgr = 72 pt.
2-6 crgr: 2 ch; knit 1 dc/dc in each stitch.
7th group:
- 2 ch; * We knit 1 pst/dc in each of the next 7 pst/dc; knit 2 dc/dc together *; repeat *-* on crgr = 64 pt.
8-12 crgr: 2 ch; knit 1 dc/dc in each stitch.
13th krgr:
- 2 ch; * We knit 1 pst/dc in each of the next 6 pst/dc; knit 2 dc/dc together *; repeat *-* on crgr = 56 pt.
14-18 crgr: ch 2; knit 1 dc/dc in each stitch.
19th krgr:
- 2 ch; * We knit 1 pst/dc in each of the last 5 pst/dc; knit 2 dc/dc together *; repeat *-* on crgr = 48 pt.
20-24 crgr: ch 2; knit 1 dc/dc in each stitch.
25th krgr:
- 2 ch; * We knit 1 pst/dc in each of the next 4 pst/dc; knit 2 dc/dc together *; repeat *-* on crgr = 40 pt.
26-30 crgr: 2 ch; knit 1 dc/dc in each stitch.
We finish the work and make the bottom seam.

Shark upper jaw
We take the upper circle of the knitted body of the shark and attach thread A (gray) to the right corner. For this we use connection/pt. We knit in rows, starting from this row, in the direction opposite to the body.
1st row: 2 ch (does not count as 1 dc/dc); We knit 1 pst/dc in each of the layers. 40 pst/dc; Let's turn it, leaving the remaining points uncovered - they do not enter the upper jaw.
2nd row:

- knit together 2 dc/dc = 38 pt.
3rd row: ch 2; knit 1 dc/dc in each stitch.
Next we knit, repeating the last couple of rows (2nd and 3rd) until 32 stitches remain in the work.

Now we will do the decrease in pt twice as intense.
Second row:
- knit together 2 dc/dc; We knit 1 pst/snt in each of the middle stitches, up to 2 in the remainder;
- knit together 2 dc/dc.
We repeat this row up to 18 points in work, and here we finish knitting the upper jaw.

Shark mandibles
When we started knitting the upper jaw, we left 40 stitches untouched. Let's take them to work and build a lower jaw on them.

Shark gum
Take thread B (red) and attach it to the corner of the upper jaw on the right side. We will knit in circles again.
1st group:
- 1 ch; We knit 1 tbsp/bn (single crochet) in the 1st stb;
- knit 16 stb/bn, going along the top of the upper jaw to 1 pt in the remainder;
- in this last stitch we knit 3 tb/bn;
- we knit 24 stb/bn, walking along the upper jaw along the left bevel;
- we knit 24 stb/bn, walking along the lower jaw along the right bevel;

- we knit 16 stb/bn, going along the top of the upper jaw;
- in the corner stitch we knit 3 tb/bn;
- we knit 24 stb/bn, going along the right side;
- in the last pt we knit 2 dc/bn and join the circle = 140 pt.
2nd crgr: ch 1; We knit 1 stb/bn in each pt; in each corner we knit 3 tb/bn = 148 pt.

Shark teeth
Take thread C (white) and knit further.
1st group:
- 5 ch; knit 1 dc/bn in the 2nd ch from the hook;
- * 1 dc/dc knit in ch; 1 stlb/3n (stlb with 3 yarn overs) we knit in the middle ch;
- skip 3 sled.stlb; knit con/pt in sld.stlb *; repeat *-*, going in a circle, knitting joint/pt in the 1st stitch.
We're done with the teeth, let's finish the job.

Shark eyes
1. The outer part is knitted with white thread C.
1st group:
- 4 ch; we knit 11 dc/2n (dc with 2 crochets) in the 4th ch from the hook, this counts as 12 dc/dc (dc with 1 crochet);
- knit joint/pt in 1-st/dc and finish.

2. Interior, knitted with black thread D.
Cast on 12 dc/dc in the 3rd ch from the hook; knit/pt in the 1st st/dc at the beginning. Let's finish.

We will sew the eyes onto the shark's face, it should turn out as shown in the photo.

shark fin
Take a gray thread (A) and knit a chain of 2 ch.
1st row: knit 2 dc/bn (single crochet) in the 2nd ch from the hook.
2nd row: ch 1; 1 dc/bn in 1st ch; 2 dc/bn into last dc/bn = 3 pt.

4th row: ch 1; we knit 1 tb/bn in each st until the last one; 2 dc/bn in last pt = 5 pt.

We will perform the last 2 rows (3rd and 4th) 9 more times, getting 23 pt.
We are not in a hurry to complete the work; we knit 1 ch; then we perform 1 crgr, consisting of dc/bn, knitted one in each st around the entire fin. At the same time, we knit 5 stb/bn in the corners and top of the fin.
When the circle connects, we'll finish with the fin.

Shark tail, 2 identical parts
Take gray thread A and knit a chain of 2 ch.
1st row: 2 stitches/bn in 2nd ch.
2nd row: ch 1; 1 stb/bn in 1st stb/bn; 2 dc/bn into last dc/bn = 3 pt.
3rd row: ch 1; 2 stb/bn in 1st stb/bn; knit 1 tb/bn in each pt = 4 pt.
4th row: ch 1; knit 1 stb/bn in each pt = 5 pt.
We will perform the last 2 rows (3rd and 4th) 2 more times, we will get 9 pt.

Middle row: ch 1; we knit 1 tb/bn in each stitch.
Middle row: ch 1; we knit 1 stb/bn in each pt until the last, 2 stb/bn in the last pt = 10 pt.
We will perform these 2 rows 7 times, we will get 16 pt.

Middle row: ch 1; we knit 1 stb/bn in each pt until the last, 2 stb/bn in the last pt = 17 pt.
Middle row: ch 1; We knit 2 tbsp/bn together; knit 1 stb/bn in each pt to the end = 16 pt.
Middle row: ch 1; we knit 1 tb/bn in each stitch until the last 2, we knit 2 tb/bn together.
This is all. Let's finish.
When both are ready, sew them together until the last row.

Shark tail tie
We will tie the stlb/bn, going in a circle; in the corner stitches we will knit 5 stitches per stitch.
We will sew the tail and fin to the main part.
