5 easy techniques for decorating Easter eggs:

No. 1-ribbons and braid:
One of the simplest techniques with maximum time savings and no expenses at all on purchasing decor. You will need remnants (from 15 cm long) of any ribbons, lace, braid, cord. Materials: glue, tools: scissors.

With ribbon decor, you can make several similar Easter eggs or all different ones. Place it in a box, a “nest” or even make a garland (photo 5). If you have a little more time and want originality, add a flower to one side (photo 4), a pebble from old jewelry, or make a combination of a wide ribbon with a narrow one (photo 1)

No. 2-paper applications:
A little longer in time, but just as simple in technology. You will need colored paper or thick napkins with a pattern or ready-made decor with perforations made of tissue paper, which is used for serving (photo 2). The materials and tools are the same as in the previous technology.

If you have a hole punch, make colorful confetti and paste it over the eggs (photo 1). If you only have scissors, the easiest option is to cut thin strips (5-7 mm) and glue the eggs along the longitudinal side so that you get a closed line (photo 8).

If you have thick “velvet” paper for crafts, the decoration will turn out voluminous (photo 4). If you have colored paper in 2-3 shades of green, make “grass” along the bottom of one of the ends of the egg (photo 5). Cut the napkins into small squares and make a kind of decoupage, alternating patterns (photos 7 and 9).

No. 3 - foil and fabric:
And here are two fundamentally different approaches. If you have packaging foil, just wrap the eggs in multi-colored pieces, do not try to smooth out the foil - the “creases” look even more impressive, glue or wrap the edge (photos 1 and 2).

Photo 3 shows eggs made from fabric stuffed with cotton wool or synthetic padding, if decorativeness is more important to you than “naturalness.” But a similar result can be obtained by gluing ordinary eggs with strips of fabric, carefully tucking the edges, and using PVA glue.

No. 4 - drawings with paints:

In addition to paints, depending on your own skills, you may need different tools.
Easter eggs can have a complex design, similar to a work of art. It is created with a brush, and you can paint whatever you want - from “Khokhloma” and “Gzhel” to “sakura” and “leopard”.

But if the artist in you is “still asleep”, and you still want to play with paints, try the simplest techniques using the back of a pencil (photo-1) or a toothpick (photo-2), the paint should be quite thick .

Using a thinner paint, you can paint flowers or polka dots on a stencil using a sponge. For extra shine, sprinkle some aluminum glitter powder on top while the paint is still wet, or coat with glitter nail polish after the paint has dried (photos 4 and 6).

No. 5-nests:
You can also make nests for Easter eggs with your own hands. in different ways. The material can be tissue or corrugated paper shavings (photos 2 and 4), sisal fibers (photo 5), willow branches (photos 3 and 6) or strips of kraft paper.

But if you make crafts in the European style, then you should take a closer look at the craft ideas that we will offer you in today’s article.

DIY Easter compositions

First of all, it is worth remembering that DIY Easter compositions- This is a type of spring crafts, that is, they must contain flowers in one form or another. Whether it’s live tulips and daffodils, or delicate chrysanthemums made from corrugated paper, in any case, the more of them, the better. However, it is not always necessary to use a wicker basket or similar stands as a base; you can even get ideas from. Let wreaths be made in the spring style to decorate windows and doors, let the compositions decorate the festive table, as well as the space above it, let garlands hang throughout the room, only they will not consist of snowflakes or snowmen, but flowers, chickens, rabbits, etc. Easter paraphernalia.

The beauty of flowers, of course, should be complemented by some small details, by which all the guests of your holiday and your family members will be able to guess what you did. Of course, the main symbol of the great holiday is colored eggshells. Filling your home Easter compositions, master class which involves the use of painted shells, you, in addition, also make a wonderful amulet for your entire family for wealth, health and good luck.

See how immediately different bouquets and arrangements will look if they are complemented by eggs with shells painted the same color. Today, such coloring seems boring to many, but it has much more charm than standard thermal stickers, and you can actually see in the photo how this method gives room for creativity. In addition to the fact that flowers are already perfect as an additional decor, even the container itself in the form of a wooden box will already make it special for this great holiday and should be at the highest level.

Using natural materials for this type is always a good move. As an example, we can present you with a sample of the craft above, in which the basis for the entire composition was a nest woven from flexible vine branches. You can easily cut them in the nearest forest, and at the same time bring the blooming shaggy willow buds and seals into the house, as real harbingers of the real and long-awaited spring. But besides everything else, you will need one more important element - a huge egg made of papier-mâché. For it, use the standard papier-mâché technique, take, for example, a rubber finger or a small balloon as a template, inflate it until required size, and then cover it with paper soaked in PVA. The finished sphere needs to be cut so that it resembles a shell that a chicken has broken.

You can place real flowers inside it (using a floral sponge filled with water) or use paper or satin flowers, as well as artificial flowers purchased in the store.

Another interesting example It concerns more the design of the container in which the festive bouquet or even growing fresh flowers will be located. You can germinate such cute muscari on your own windowsill, timing their flowering period to coincide with the upcoming Easter dates (these can also be mini-tulips, crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths, primroses). But, in addition, you also need to beautifully decorate the edges of the vessel with them, so that it still looks like a decorative element, and not like a piece of a flower bed on a coffee table. That is why it is worth decorating the container with eggshells and matching ribbons, securing it all with a glue gun.

Easter compositions: photos

Next Easter compositions, photos which you will see below, you can easily do with your children. Although it may not be as sophisticated and elegant as was demonstrated in the previous examples, it will be a very interesting creative task for kids, with an easy material to complete (corrugated paper) and, most importantly, with sweet surprises at the end of the craft.

In the first case, this is an example Easter candy compositions, which is called “Funny Men”. It is proposed to make these very little men using empty quail egg shells, and they do not need to be further decorated; their spotted colors are perfect for the composition. Well, you need to hide chocolates inside the flowers, which the kids will need to find.

And one more example, which is undoubtedly a children's favorite - Easter composition made of corrugated paper. As you can see, here in the basket along with the flowers you also need to plant a cute white rabbit. It is made of thick cardboard and then covered with a soft, pleasant-to-touch material. Children will enjoy playing with this composition even after the holiday is over.

Easter compositions- a great option to create a unique decoration for your home before the holidays. For compositions you can use painted eggs, cardboard trays, spring flowers. Such crafts will not only decorate your home, but will also help fill it with warmth and comfort, and a gentle spring mood. On Easter, it is customary to set a rich table and serve it beautifully.

DIY Easter compositions

You can position DIY Easter compositions in the center festive table, they will definitely become a worthy element of serving. According to old Russian traditions, on Easter it is customary to decorate your home with spring flowers, so you can simply put a bouquet of flowers on the table, but it is better to use our idea and create a bright spring composition.

We will need three dozen eggs, but only the shells from them, so carefully collect them when you are preparing the holiday menu. In particular, baking Easter cakes, cakes and cookies usually takes a lot of eggs, but in order for the shells to be used for this craft, they must be very carefully cleaned of the internal contents.

We need to carefully make a hole at the top, it can be large enough to remove the white and yolk through it. Thus, we need to process all three dozen so that as a result we are left with only empty shells. We definitely need to paint them different colors, you can use three delicate shades: pale pink, lilac and yellow, and it is not at all necessary to use food coloring, use any coloring that will help us achieve desired color. The shells must be boiled in the dye solution for 5 minutes, then carefully removed from the solution and left to dry. In addition, you can find ready-made similar blanks in stores with floral decorations, but only residents of big cities have this opportunity.

We will use a cardboard tray with recesses for each egg as a stand. One stand should hold 10 eggs, so we will need three trays in total.

Now we will perform Easter compositions, master class requires us to cut the edges of the trays so the cardboard doesn't stand out. We will leave our tray a natural color, and for decoration we will also take some hay (you can buy it at a pet store, because it is intended for pets).

We will need spring flowers: field daisies, small chrysanthemums, tulips of two colors, forget-me-nots, hyacinthoides or birdwort, marigold or anemones, muscari, crocuses and irises. We don't need flowers on long stems, because they will take up space in a miniature egg vase. You can buy spring flowers in the store, but it is better to send them to the forest or park and collect beautiful spring inflorescences yourself. Be sure to have scissors ready for working with flowers so that the stems can be trimmed.

Look how charming and delicate the florals look Easter compositions, photos which we used in our master class. You can place it in the center of the table, and spread straw and hay around it.

The painted shells should be dry by this point; they should be placed in the tray with the hole facing up. Each miniature container should be filled with water using a small watering can to prevent moisture from getting onto the cardboard tray.

We're almost ready DIY Easter composition, master class It will also help you decorate them with small flowers: the stems must be trimmed, and large inflorescences must be divided into smaller ones.

Easter compositions: master class

Of course, floral ones cannot be called durable; they will decorate your home only during the holidays, but next year you will have to come up with original ideas for setting the holiday table again. In addition to fresh flowers, you can use paper buds in your decor, which will delight you with their flowering for a long time. For example, you can make bright tulips from corrugated paper and then decorate an Easter basket with them.

To do Easter compositions made of corrugated paper, we also need an egg tray, which will play the role of a basket, which this time we will decorate not only with paints, but also with corrugated flowers. We will make a handle for our basket using fairly thick but flexible aluminum wire. The tray can be cut into sections, leaving 4-6 sections, each of which we will decorate corrugated paper, decorative elements. We also need to decorate the aluminum handle; for this you can use a corrugated strip or two multi-colored strips, which we will use to rewind the handle of our basket and fix it with glue.

The outer part of the basket can be painted in different colors: make stains, draw butterflies and flowers. And the inner one - with corrugated elements; for this, you need to cut circles from the corrugation, and then “put” them into egg containers. Additionally, the basket can be decorated with small flowers and butterflies. will take their place in a decorative basket that even primary school children can make.
