Character: A living berry from the magical Land of Fantasy must certainly be distinguished by its kindness and cheerful character, and therefore it has a lot of friends.

Costume: Our strawberry is dressed in a white elegant blouse, a collar made of leaves and a red skirt with black “seeds”.

Blouse you can easily
Sew the shoulder and side seams of the blouse and overcast them. Along the dotted line indicated in the drawing, stitch the elastic band, previously cut to a length equal to the circumference of the child’s forearm, stitch the bottom seam of the sleeves and overcast. Gather the sleeves to create a “flashlight” effect. Fold the seam allowance at the back of the blouse and iron it. pre-sew the edges. Finish the neckline of the blouse with facings. Sew on a loop and button. Fold the bottom of the blouse and the bottom of the sleeves.

skirt can be made from red fabric. Cut out a rectangle from the fabric, as shown in Fig. 15 “Strawberry Costume Drawing.” Sew “seed” appliques onto the fabric in the form of triangles, base up.

Note: The applique can be stitched using a zigzag stitch or regular machine stitch, and can also be simply hand sewn or glued on.

Fold the fabric crosswise face to face and stitch along the side seam. Overcast the side seam. Fold the top of the skirt at a distance sufficient to thread the elastic through. Fold the bottom of the skirt. Thread the elastic through the top of the skirt.

Collar made from green “grass” colored fabric. Make a collar pattern, as shown in Fig. 15 “Strawberry Costume Drawing.” Transfer to fabric and cut out. If the fabric is fraying along the cuts, you can melt the edges with a lit match or overcast. For greater believability, we recommend stitching an applique of a darker green color onto the collar sheets or drawing the veins with a felt-tip pen or gouache (see Fig. 15). Sew a loop and a traveler to the back of the collar.

Mask: To add mystery, we suggest that the little coquette wear a half mask, that is, a mask that hides half of her face. Cut a mask out of thick paper and paint it green. You can cover the mask with green velvet. Cut out berries from thick paper and paint them. Take thin wires 8-10 cm long, thread one end through small holes at a distance of 1 cm from the top edge of the mask, previously made with a needle, and twist. Attach the berries to the other end in the same way. Place the berries in this way on 6-7 wire rods. Bend the wire back and forth. With every movement the berries will sway.

Hairstyle: Gather your hair at the top of your head in the form of a ponytail and secure with a green elastic band.
