On the one hand, you want to ask what kind of grass its creators smoked, but on the other hand, you are amazed at their imagination and desire to create an unusual, bright world. It is a pity that now all this beauty is abandoned and destroyed.
Watch at deni_spiri in Get into a Fairy Tale

“Fairy Tale” is the nickname of the most extraordinary and unusual pioneer camp I have ever encountered. I have never seen anything similar to it or even closely similar in its incarnation anywhere else. I can’t even imagine how to explain such an architectural solution, in the form of a marine theme, in the design of the entire camp. There was an opinion that this somehow helped in the development of deaf and mute children who spent their pioneer childhood there. We must pay tribute to the creators of this creation that in Soviet times they were able to deviate from the standards and make it so extraordinarily beautiful/terrifying, but it’s definitely rich in imagination, bringing it to life that even after 30 years it looks incredibly cool. Therefore, the name of the camp, I think, was chosen just right; it’s like a fairy tale frozen in time... out of time.

A huge notebook and the sun with rays like fins, peeking out from behind the duty booth (see photo above). The main gate of the pioneer camp immediately and immediately puzzles with its appearance. What will happen inside? Let's see together. The first building is decorated with an unknown miracle fish and a stele with a pioneer starfish.

We move to the next building. Something terrible is happening there...

A huge octopus monster has entangled the entire wall of the dormitory building with its tentacles! O_O!!!

Even lower was a building with fish among the corals. Compared to others, it is designed more simply.

I turn around and go back to the main building, hidden as if in the jungle.

There was a ruler ahead, where the image of V.I. must be present. Lenin.

Lenin is not just depicted, he is embodied in the form of a high relief with the pioneer slogan “Always be prepared.” Gorgeous!

More to come. Let's go to the dining room. There is something to stop here and look at in detail: a raging sea, mountains, a panther and a swordfish, and a huge eagle on the side.

Someone (a boy or a girl), throwing his arms up, swims on the crest of a wave. True, already without legs.

This huge bird carried away the “bad” pioneers in an unknown direction.

Now is the time to look into the inside of the case. Something strange just before the entrance.

And inside in general... The designer's imagination went wild. Pearl sink in main hall.

The walls are like an aquarium. True, with mega-fish.

Glug-glug...

Glug-glug-glug...

And this something with something was in the corner of the hall.

We go up to the second floor. The design of the stairs scared even me. How were the children not afraid to climb such stairs?

Note the "algae" enveloping the railing.

The passage is closed - “restoration” is underway.

On the second floor in the hall there are corals instead of fish.

Medusa attacks!

No less terrifying corridors.

It feels like a little pioneer could be sucked in there!

We look into the room and see an upside-down monster that looks like a huge insect.

And in some chambers there live trees.

Otherwise everything is standard. The restrooms are undecorated.

In the ward one could take a break from the horrors of the corridors and staircases.

There was also a swimming pool in the camp. Only some kind of mini-pool.

Somewhere on the territory.

And the familiar soda machines.

There is a nursery next to the camp. Just like the city ones.

The kindergarten, unlike the pioneer camp, is abandoned. A chamber with a bright pattern. And there is a water theme here.

No one cooks in the kitchen anymore.

And in conclusion, my favorite shot with a view of the camp.

Based on the results of this game, a free ticket to the winter session of the “Light a Star!” camp is drawn at each shift. (author's camp of the Central Children's Educational Institution "Master"). In addition, during the shift, children keep a photo chronicle and a shift diary. Everyone takes part in mass sports activities, relay races and competitions, competitions and show programs, friendly evenings, games and songs around the fire, discos.

All shifts are based on themed role-playing games. A role-playing game is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a world of adventure and play, full of bright colors, costumes, plots and new discoveries. Children of all ages become participants in the games with great pleasure and interest and are captivated by them throughout the entire shift. And most importantly, children are constantly busy with useful, constructive and developmental activities! All children end up in the Scarlet Sails children's republic. And in the summer of 2010, children can expect role-playing games “Inhabited Island or the History of Piracy”, “Robinsonade”, “Scarlet Sails” or a large sea regatta”
All shifts are adventure! Children end up on inhabited and uninhabited islands, become pirates or Indians, travelers or primitive inhabitants. A lot of games, discoveries, and finds await them. An important element of the game is the cognitive block - about everything that children play, they will definitely learn a lot of new things - history, geography, literature. The games are based on famous works, historical facts and events.

Since the collapse of the USSR, many objects that were very popular at one time have remained abandoned on the territory of the former huge country. These include some enterprises that have become unprofitable, and farms for which there are no more cows, and hostels, and entire settlements.

Entrance to an abandoned camp

Among them, children's institutions such as schools, kindergartens and camps stand out. One can recall at least the world famous “Artek”, as if reminding with its pitiful appearance that the times when “all the best was for children” are long gone. The Moscow region has its own abandoned children's camp, with such an original appearance that you definitely won't find another one.

“Fairy Tale” is a name that was perfectly suited for this work of art in conjunction with someone’s very wild imagination.

Have you been to this camp?

YESNO

And, probably, longing for childhood. The most surprising thing is that the camp was intended for children with... hearing impairment. It’s amazing that such a miracle of art was created for such children, which both delights and can frighten a fragile child’s body. Moreover, having been here on vacation, it is not surprising if impressionable children (especially girls) began to have trouble sleeping at night. If you dreamed of such monsters!

One of the buildings in the camp

Although, however, there are many who, on the contrary, admire the beauty of local architecture and complain that with the collapse of the Union, the camp ceased to function and in almost three decades turned into an abandoned place. The desire of someone very talented to create a fairy tale for children in reality has remained unclaimed and is gradually being destroyed due to lack of proper care.

Expert opinion

Larisa Antonovna Karelskaya

To be more precise, the main theme of local creations is not just a fairy tale, but, let’s say, a sea fairy tale. A huge octopus, which is located right next to the fire exit of one of the camp buildings, extends its tentacles above the two-story building. On the wall of another there is a flounder “stuck” to the wall.

But the most interesting thing is played out on the walls of the building that served the vacationing pioneers as a canteen. There is a storm at sea, there is a swordfish in it, and next to it is a panther in the mountains and an eagle soaring above it all. Today no one will probably answer why all this was done in such a special style; one of the versions is that this type helped in the development of deaf and mute children.

We invite you to take a walk around the camp!

So, if you are planning to take a walk in former camp, then you should be prepared for the fact that your surroundings will amaze you not only with their bizarre forms, but also with very strong neglect. Also, in an abandoned territory, you can expect to meet not entirely law-abiding citizens who have chosen the territory for their residence. If adjustments for all this have been made, you can hit the road.

Camp building decorated with a monster

A gate with a built-in attendant booth greets guests with sunlight and a huge children's notebook. All these are creations of architectural mastery. What else can we expect? A fish of an unknown species and a separate stele with a star, which is similar to both a sea star and a pioneer one. In the next building there are fish that swim among the corals.

Expert opinion

Larisa Antonovna Karelskaya

Head of department at Moscow GUM for more than 10 years. Salesperson at Children's World on Lubyanka.

If you go inside, in one of the buildings you will find a bizarre sea shell located right in the staircase. Algae that enveloped the stair railings.

The walls are very similar to a huge aquarium, only the fish are more similar in size to marine life. And what about the shell with a pearl, located in the middle of the main hall.

Here you can also see broken cribs with incomprehensible drawings, old children's shoes, broken dolls and other toys. All this reeks of unpleasant neglect and despondency.

Camp buildings

Even now, walking around the abandoned territory of the camp, with deep respect you remember the creators of such a miracle. After all, in order to “pour” such motley confusion into the Soviet monotony, considerable courage was needed, and not just talent.

Here, as if frozen in time, a creatively executed Lenin next to the pioneer slogan and a teenager floating on the crest of a wave. Sometimes it may seem that in this “Fairy Tale” time has stopped or he lives his life, outside of time.

Children's health camp "Fairytale" has long gained its popularity among children and met the expectations of parents. And there are reasons for this. The camp is surrounded by centuries-old pine trees, one of the most beautiful rivers in Russia - the Ob - flows nearby, and the territory for carefree fun is as much as 11 hectares!
