GOST 11373-88 establishes metric shoe sizes and contains a table of approximate correspondence between metric and shoe sizes. 1 line = 2/3 cm = 6.67 mm and to determine the size in the metric system, you need to multiply the size in the line-mass system by 6.67 and subtract 10 mm (the allowance laid down in the line-mass system): Size m = Size w x 6.67 -10 mm.
Or vice versa, knowing the length of the child's foot in mm, you can determine the size of the foot in a more familiar (European) size: Size w = Size m + 10 mm / 6.67. For example, foot length is 145 mm: 145+10/6.67=23.2. The result of these calculations will only approximately correspond to the values \u200b\u200bof the size table for children's shoes given in GOST.

GOST 3927-88 regulates the general technical conditions of shoe lasts, introduces the concept of a minimum allowance and regulates its size - 0.5 or 10 mm (depending on the type and age group of shoes). Each figure has its own characteristics. If for shoes the length of the foot is decisive, then for clothes it is better to rely on your usual sizes of existing clothes. Three sizes are used to measure the size of outerwear:
