Of course, you can work hard and try to make yarn yourself from old sweaters. But this is only if there are enough of them and enough patience for such labor-intensive work. Therefore, it is better to look for material in specialized stores.
In addition, material for the cover is needed. It is better to make it from thick linen or cotton fabric. The filler is foam rubber, padding polyester, and hallofiber. You can buy them at a hardware store. Can be purchased in showrooms that sell fabrics for upholstered furniture. Our women's ingenuity suggested that they could buy two padding polyester blankets at a second-hand store and gut the contents out of them.
Knitting a round ball

2. Fill the case tightly with filler. We tie the top with a rope. Straighten out the remaining fabric.
3. The product will require knitting needles. A pearl pattern is made, i.e. we alternate knit and purl stitches in a row. 
4. When knitted cover ready, put it on the blank. Using a hook, sew the two halves together. Alternatively, you can join the halves together using decorative buttons. You will get a removable cover.
The product will be more elegant if you use your imagination. For example, sew on pieces of fur, colored buttons, beads or ribbons in the form of bows.

Square products
Do-it-yourself square-shaped knitted poufs are made in the same sequence. They only sew a cover in the shape of a square. Interesting products are made from natural jute rope. For this you will need the same materials as for the round pouf. Recommended dimensions 70*70 cm and height 40 cm.
Subsequence:
1. Cut out two squares of 72*72 cm and 4 canvases of 42*72 cm from fabric. Sew them together, first the sides (42*72), then sew on the top. Add 2 cm to the seams. We do not sew the bottom completely. Turn the seams inside out. Place the filler tightly. We sew the cover by hand.
2. Now we will knit six squares. In order to determine the number of loops, you need to knit a small piece. Count how many loops there are per 1 cm, then multiply by the required dimensions.
3. Connect the squares using a hook, leaving one side to insert the workpiece (case with filling).
4. After putting on the knitted upholstery, crochet the remaining unstitched part.
If you want to emphasize the square geometry of the product, the connecting seams can be made of contrasting yarn.

Magic ring + first three circles = 1 large bobbin 1kg
Circle 3+4+half past 5th= 1 large bobbin 1kg
Second half of the 5th row + 6th row = 1 large bobbin 1kg
In short, for one carpet 1m. It takes 5.5 large bobbins in diameter.
- My product began to “wave” or, conversely, began to “shrink”. What to do?
If your carpet starts to go waves- then you have overkill loops for this hook and thickness of yarn! What if I knit according to the pattern?
