Fold the collar in half on the front side and kettle the open loops along the edge of the neckline. For the placket, along the vertical edge of the front cut and along the edge of half the collar, using knitting needles No. 3.5, cast on 50 sts and knit 1 cm with an elastic band, close the loops. Knit a similar strip on the wrong side. Make the same strips for the second half of the polo cut. Insert a zipper between the strips and sew. Sew side seams and sleeve seams, sew them into armholes.

You will need

Purl rows: alternately 1 knit, 1 purl crossed, finish with 1 knit.

Basic pattern

The number of loops is a multiple of 3.

1st row: purl loops;

2nd row: * purl 3 loops together, while keeping the loops on the left knitting needle, 1 yarn over, then purl the loops again and lower them from the knitting needle, from * constantly repeat.

3rd and 4th rows: stockinette stitch.

Repeat rows 1–4 constantly.

Knitting density

22 p. x 32 r. = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 129 (141) 153 stitches on knitting needles and knit 1 purl row as follows: knit 3, purl 123 (135) 147, knit 3. This series is not taken into account in subsequent calculations.

Then for the placket, knit 1 cm = 4 rows as follows: 2 p. in garter stitch and 1 p. in purl stitch (= placket), 123 (135) 147 p. in rib stitch, 1 p. in purl stitch and 2 p. in garter stitch (= bar), while in the last purl row on the loops of pattern 4, knit purl loops.

Then, on the middle 123 (135) 147 loops, continue working with the main pattern, continue to knit the outer 3 loops with a bar.

For the end of the side vents, after 12.5 cm = 40 rows from the bar, add 1 loop on both sides = 131 (143) 155 p. and knit between the edges with the main pattern.

After 41 cm = 132 rows (43.5 cm = 140 rows) 46 cm = 148 rows from the bar, close for shoulder bevel on both sides 1 x 3 (3) 4 sts, then in every 2nd row 11 x 3 sts . (5 x 3 p. and 6 x 4 p.) 11 x 4 p.

After 48.5 cm = 156 rows (51 cm = 164 rows) 53.5 cm = 172 rows from the bar, knit for a stand-up collar on the remaining 59 stitches. Another 5 cm = 16 rows according to. pattern.

Then knit 2 rows in stockinette stitch and then bind off all stitches as if knit.

Before

Knit like a back.

Sleeves

Cast on 62 (71) 80 sts on the knitting needles for each sleeve and knit 1 purl row.

Then for the strap, knit 1 cm = 3 rows with an elastic band and 1 purl row with purls, while for sizes 1 and 3, finish the elastic with 1 knit crossed.

Then, between the edges, continue working with the main pattern.

For a low sleeve roll, after 37.5 cm = 120 rows from the placket, close off 1 x 3 stitches on both sides, then in every 2nd row 5 x 3 stitches.

After 41 cm = 132 rows from the bar, close off the remaining 26 (35) 44 sts.

Assembly

Sew shoulder seams and side collar seams. Sew in the sleeves, sew side seams and sleeve seams.
