For what month does the pension arrive? From appointment to first payment of pension

A pension is a regular (usually monthly) benefit from the state, which is paid to elderly people, people who have lost their breadwinner, and people with disabilities. Every modern country has Pension fund, to which a certain percentage of citizens’ wages is allocated. Pension benefits are paid from these funds.

The size of the pension, which is calculated based on length of service for older people, directly depends on the employee’s length of service and on the type of work (for example, former military personnel receive a larger benefit). There are many nuances associated with receiving this payment. For example, not everyone knows when pensions are paid. Let's look at how the procedure is carried out and what the size of the pension is for the first month and thereafter.

How much salary

According to Labor Code RF, face retirement age has the same right to official employment as middle-aged people, that is old age cannot be the cause of any harassment at work. We remind you that in Russia retirement is possible for men from 63 years of age, and for women from 58.

It is worth noting that old man may not notify his employer in advance of his dismissal, and he is not required to work 14 days.

The amount of salary upon retirement depends on the type of dismissal:

  • If a person leaves his place of work of his own free will, he is entitled to payment for unused vacation + wages for the current period of time;
  • If a pensioner is laid off, in addition to the above payments, he is also entitled to severance pay.

Order

Payment of benefits is carried out by the body that accepted the application from the person for a pension. Usually this is a Pension Fund in a certain region of the country. Financial support from the state is received by the pensioner monthly on a specific date set by the Pension Fund.

Depending on who will receive the pension, there are certain conditions for calculating benefits:

  • If the payment is intended for a child, one of the parents or the child’s guardian can collect it. Starting from the age of 14, a teenager has the right to independently receive funds in a way convenient for him;
  • If the pensioner is in a psychiatric hospital or place of deprivation of liberty, the funds are credited to a special account, the safety of which must be ensured by the administration of the institution;
  • Persons living in a nursing home receive a pension under standard conditions.

The procedure for paying benefits is regulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Bodies making payments

A pensioner has the right to receive a pension in the most convenient way for himself from the following:

  1. Through a banking institution. To receive funds in this way, a person needs to go to the branch of the bank with which he wants to cooperate and apply for a card. Money will be credited to it without commission, since this is a targeted replenishment. In the future, they can be withdrawn from an ATM, or you can pay with a card at retail outlets and stores;
  2. Through Russian Post. Receipt of funds in this way always occurs with a slight delay: a day or two later than when credited to the card. This is because home delivery is not carried out immediately after pension benefits arrive in the mail.

If for some reason a pensioner is not happy with one of these methods of receiving funds, he can always change it. To do this, it is enough to submit an application and attach a certificate of the assigned pension to the Pension Fund of Russia, located in the region of residence.

Delivery schedule

The payment receipt schedule must be further clarified with the territorial division of the Pension Fund of your city, since the payment date may differ.

This point also depends on the method of delivery of funds:

  • If the method of receiving money is a bank card, then the pension is instantly credited to the account immediately after it is received by the bank from the Pension Fund, after which the person can use the finances;
  • When delivering benefits by mail, the payment schedule should be clarified at the institution’s branch. There is usually a fixed day for payment, but there may be delays of up to three days, according to the legislation of the Russian Federation.

It is worth considering that if the day you receive benefits falls on a holiday or weekend, the money may be allocated a day or two earlier than expected.

Power of attorney to receive a pension

A power of attorney is a notarized document that gives the right to a third party to receive payment for a pensioner. As a rule, it is drawn up by a notary for a fee.

The document is necessary if the pensioner who is assigned the benefit cannot receive it for some reason, for example:

  1. Disability;
  2. Serious illness;
  3. Absence on the territory of the Russian Federation;
  4. An elderly person's own desire.

Any citizen of Russia can receive money by proxy: it does not matter whether he is a relative of the pensioner or not.

To prepare the document, you need to contact the notary office at your place of residence. It is necessary that two parties be present: the principal and the trustee.

The document contains the following information:

  • Full name of the trustee and the principal;
  • Series and number of the passport of the trustee and the principal;
  • Validity period of the document;
  • Full name of the bank and account number (if the pension goes to the bank), or the name of the post office.

After registering a power of attorney, you need to contact a bank or post office (depending on the method of receiving funds), after re-issuing the documents, the authorized person will be able to receive finances for the elderly person.

Payment upon change of residence

Each citizen receiving a pension benefit is tied to the territorial division of the Pension Fund in his city. Therefore, if he changes his place of registration, he needs to notify the Pension Fund about this.

At the same time, the method of receiving funds does not matter: even if the money is credited to a bank card, information about the new place of residence must still be transferred to the Pension Fund.

This is done this way:

  1. At the new place of registration, obtain a note about the change of registration from the passport office;
  2. With your passport you will go to the Pension Fund at your new place of registration. There you need to write an application for relocation;
  3. After this, within three working days, the payment case from the old place of residence will be transferred to the Pension Fund at the new place of registration.

It is worth considering that if a person moves abroad, the procedure for receiving a pension changes: a trusted person can receive the money.

When is a pension paid after the death of a pensioner?

If, due to the death of a pensioner, there is uncollected money (for example, for the current month when the death of a citizen occurred), relatives who lived in the same living space with him will be able to receive the funds. If there are several close people, the amount of the unreceived pension is divided into several equal parts among all relatives.

To receive funds, you need to contact the territorial division of the city PF with the following documents:

  • Death certificate of a citizen;
  • Certificate of family composition;
  • Passport or passports of applicants for payment;
  • Documents confirming the family relationship between the deceased and the applicant.

To whom and on what date is the funded part of the pension paid?

A funded pension is part of a labor pension, which is formed on the basis pension savings citizen.

You can receive this payment:

  • A citizen in person, if his age is retirement age (for women - 58 years, for men - 63 years);
  • If a person dies suddenly, his heirs will be able to receive the payment.

To register the pension savings of a deceased relative, you need to contact the Pension Fund with the following documents:

  1. A copy of the applicant's passport;
  2. Documents that confirm family ties(birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.);
  3. Application for transfer of funds with bank account number;
  4. Death certificate of a pensioner.

What affects the size

On January 1, 2015, a pension reform came into force in Russia, according to which the amount of benefits is now affected by:

  1. Work experience;
  2. Salary amount. The average figure is calculated for the last year worked before retirement;
  3. The person’s age at the time of applying for pension savings.

The longer a person’s work experience and salary, the greater the amount of benefits he will receive.

Who pays

The Russian Pension Fund is responsible for the formation of pension savings and the subsequent calculation of pensions. In each city there are territorial divisions of Pension Funds that deal with the settlement of pension payments for citizens registered in the city or locality. If you have any questions or problem situations related to the calculation of benefits, you need to contact the Pension Fund branch in your city.

APPLICATIONS AND CALLS ARE ACCEPTED 24/7 and 7 days a week.

Pension is guaranteed by the state monthly payment disabled citizens who have reached retirement age, citizens with long service, disabled people, persons who have lost their breadwinner and other citizens. From 2013 to 2015, a pension reform was carried out in Russia, aimed at changing the procedure for calculating and paying labor pensions. In December 2013, two Federal laws were adopted “About insurance pensions” And "ABOUT funded pension» , which came into force on January 1, 2015.

As a result of the adoption of these laws, the labor pension was transformed into pensions. They are separate and are paid independently.

In every post office a delivery period and pension delivery schedule have been established according to which the pensioner is given date of receipt of pension.

  • If the day you receive your pension falls on a weekend or holiday, the pension can be delivered earlier than the established date, but in the current month and no earlier than three days before the date of receipt of payment.
  • A pensioner can receive a pension later, but within the delivery period (schedule) established by the post office.

If a pensioner has chosen a credit organization as a delivery authority, then the procedure for paying pensions (schedule) in these organizations is the same as in post offices.

Power of attorney for another person to receive a pension

Various methods of delivering pensions provide the pensioner with the opportunity to choose the most convenient way for him to receive his pension. But there are situations when a pensioner, due to various life circumstances, cannot receive a pension on his own. In this case, the pension can be received another person based on a power of attorney issued by a pensioner.

A power of attorney is a notarized document that the pensioner himself issues to his authorized representative to receive his pension. It can be issued by a notary for a fee, or it can be certified free of charge and it will be equivalent to a notarized document (Clause 2, Part 1, Article 185.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).

In addition, from September 1, 2013, a power of attorney to receive pension payments can be verified free of charge by the organization, in which the pensioner studies, or works, or the administration of the medical institution in which he is undergoing treatment (clause 3 of Article 185.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). Previously, powers of attorney were certified by housing maintenance organizations, but as of September 1, 2013, they lost this right due to amendments to the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. However, powers of attorney confirmed by these organizations before September 1, 2013 remain valid until their expiration.

  • If in power of attorney no deadline specified, for which it was issued, it is considered that it was issued for one year (Article 186 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation) and the authorized person will be able to receive a pension within a year.
  • If validity period exceeds a year, then the payment of pension benefits is made during the entire period of validity of the power of attorney, but subject to confirmation by the pensioner of the fact of his registration at the place of receipt of pension payments every year.

Pension upon change of residence

If a citizen changes his place of residence, then the pension is paid at his new place of move. In this case, the pensioner must notify the territorial office of the Pension Fund of Russia in order for the pension file to be sent to a new place of residence.

It is necessary to request a payment file in connection with the move even if you receive a pension on a bank card. The fact is that it contains all the necessary information that a pensioner and a Pension Fund employee may need at their new place of residence, for example, for.

The pensioner left Smolensk for permanent residence in St. Petersburg. The pension was transferred to a bank card account opened in Sberbank in Smolensk.

In St. Petersburg, a pensioner must contact territorial body Pension Fund with an application to request a payment (pension) file from the previous place of residence. At the same time, he must present a passport with a mark of registration at the new place of residence. Employees of the Pension Fund of St. Petersburg no later than one working day after the pensioner’s application sends a request to the Pension Fund branch. Smolensk, from where the payment case must be sent no later than three working days from the date of receipt of the request.

After receiving the pension file, within 2 working days an order is issued to register it and extend the payment of the pension.

A pensioner can change the delivery method or delivery provider by written notification to the territorial office of the Pension Fund of St. Petersburg.

If a pensioner travels for permanent residence to another state, then this procedure does not apply. There is a different payment procedure for pensioners traveling abroad.

How to receive a pension after the death of a pensioner?

Payment of uncollected pension amounts after the death of a pensioner are made by the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, which previously paid the pension. The pension amounts due to the pensioner in the current month and remaining uncollected in the specified month due to his death are paid. These amounts are paid to persons (relatives) living together with a citizen on the day of his death . The list of these persons is specified in Part 2 of Article 10 of Law No. 400-FZ dated December 28, 2013 “About insurance pensions”.

If several relatives apply for an unpaid pension at once, then the amounts due to the deceased will be divided between them equally.

To receive the pension of the deceased, you must write an application at the Pension Fund office and also provide following documents:

  1. death certificate;
  2. certificate of family composition;
  3. documents confirming family relations with the deceased pensioner;
  4. applicant's passport.

You must apply for an unreceived pension within six months from the date of death of the pensioner, otherwise these amounts will be included in the inheritance and will be inherited on a general basis.

Conclusion

Citizens are carried out by the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund at their place of residence. The establishment and payment of pensions is declarative nature, therefore, when the right arises, the citizen must independently apply for appointment to the territorial body of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, where he must also choose a convenient delivery method.

  • The pensioner can receive payments personally or through a proxy.
  • To receive pension benefits when changing place of residence, a citizen must apply to the Pension Fund of Russia at his new place of residence (stay).
  • After the death of a pensioner, citizens who lived with the pensioner on the day of his death have the right to receive the accrued pension.

Official text: Article 23. Terms of payment and delivery of labor pension 1. Payment of labor pension, including its delivery, is made for the current month. 2. Accrued amounts of labor pension (part of the old-age labor pension), the payment of which was suspended by the body implementing pension provision, and which were not claimed by the pensioner in a timely manner, are paid to him for the past time, but not more than for three years preceding the moment of applying for the accrued labor pension. A labor pension (part of an old-age labor pension), not received by a pensioner on time due to the fault of the body providing pensions, is paid to him for the past time without any limitation. 3.

Pension: if it comes on the 9th, is it for the past month or the current one?

The accrual and payment of pensions, unlike wages, occurs in the same month for which it is accrued. Wages are paid per month worked. This is explained simply.

The pension is given so that the pensioner can use it during the month for which he received it, since in fact, he has already earned it. The right to a salary still needs to be confirmed, in other words, to work off what is due.
.

With the old-age labor pension, everything is simple. On which day the pensioner received the first benefit will be the day of reference. And if this day does not fall on a weekend, then every day of this month, he will receive a pension.

The day the disability pension is paid becomes a little unclear for those who received a disability group (especially for those who were not given it for life).

The procedure for calculating and paying pensions

The fact that you are dependent on a pensioner is also not required. If several family members apply for the lost pension amount, upon confirmation of the specified family relationships and cohabitation with the deceased, it can be paid to them in equal shares. An application for an unreceived pension must be made within 6 months from the date of death of the pensioner.

If this deadline is missed, payment will not be made. It does not follow from the norm in question that an unpaid pension can be paid only after 6 months.

In the event that it is reliably known that, apart from the family members who applied, there are no other people living together with the pensioner and entitled to receive these amounts, these amounts can be paid immediately after applying for them. Rules of paragraph 3 of Art. 23 do not comply with the norms of Part Three of the Civil Code, which regulates issues of inheritance, including pensions.

Pension - pay forward or backward?

A labor pension (part of a labor pension) not received by a pensioner in a timely manner due to the fault of the body providing pensions is paid to him for the past time without any limitation.3. Accrued amounts of labor pension due to the pensioner in the current month and remaining not received in connection with his death in the specified month are not included in the inheritance and are paid to those members of his family who belong to the persons specified in paragraph 2 of Article 9 of this Federal Law, and lived together with this pensioner on the day of his death, if the application for the unreceived amounts of the specified pension followed no later than six months from the date of death of the pensioner. When several family members apply for the specified amounts of labor pension, the amounts of labor pension due to them are divided equally between them.4.

Payment of pension

Info

In paragraphs 2 and 3 of this article, along with the term “for the current month,” the expression “in the current month” is used, which means the calculation of pension amounts due to the pensioner for delivery for the current calendar month and the past time, in appropriate cases. In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 23, the following cases of payment of pension amounts to a pensioner for the past time are provided: - if the pension amounts were not claimed by the pensioner in a timely manner for personal reasons; - if the pension amounts were not received by the pensioner in a timely manner due to the fault of the territorial body of the Pension Fund.

Depending on the reason for the pensioner’s non-receipt of a pension, the period for which pension amounts are paid for the past period is determined.

How is the pension paid a month in advance or for the past month?

Unlike the previous pension legislation (Law No. 340-1 dated November 20, 1990), the Pension Law does not link the payment to family members of a deceased pensioner of pension amounts remaining unreceived due to death with the condition that family members perform the funeral of the deceased pensioner. In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 23, accrued pension amounts due to the pensioner in the current month and remaining not received by him due to death in the specified month are not included in the inheritance until six months from the date of death of the pensioner. At the same time, according to paragraph 16 of the Rules dated February 16, 2004, before the expiration of the specified period, the territorial body of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation has the right to issue a possible heir a certificate of the amount of pension not paid during the life of the pensioner, which after the expiration of the specified period may become his inherited property.

And on what day of the month the disabled person underwent a medical examination can play a role and on what dates and in what amount he will receive his benefit. In fact, the money didn’t go anywhere, but the plans were a little upset.

How to find out when your pension is due? First of all, in the regional department of the Pension Fund of Russia. But all pensioners know what it’s like to first stand in line with a dispatcher to find out and make an appointment (and an appointment with a specialist may be scheduled for the next week), and then another line with a specialist.

There is a simpler service, which, by the way, works well in the Pension Fund - this is a hotline phone number. This does not mean the telephone number of the Russian Pension Fund, but your regional department.

You can easily find out at the branch itself or on the Pension Fund website on the Internet. There, in the common database of all branches, there are all contact numbers that may be needed.

If this were so, it would mean that a person would need to be left without a livelihood for a whole month. Our state, of course, is not the best in the world, but still it does not care about its citizens to that extent :-) comment In Russia, pensions are paid for the current month.
If the 9th date mentioned in the question is December 9th, then this pension is for December. My mother died on May 5 and I then received my pension for May, several months later, after collecting the necessary certificates and contacting the Pension Fund.

There is an article on pensions 26, which talks about delivery times and payments. Payment of the pension, including its delivery, is carried out in the Russian Federation for the current month.

Delivery of the pension on the 9th is payment for the current month. Such a payment may occur if the pension is delayed, but in any case it is for the current month.

In general, when applying for a pension, Pension Fund specialists ask how the pensioner will receive the pension in person or by transfer to a bank (on a card). And of course they must warn you when this will be done. My parents, for example, receive a pension in their hands. On the 20th of every month, specialists bring it to your home (there is an option that the Russian Post office also handles the distribution of pensions. Just check the date of transfer of the pension in your Pension Fund Administration. I submitted my documents for a pension 1 month before turning 55 years old. The Pension Fund immediately said, that the pension will arrive on the 10th of January (birthday in December) immediately 2 months in advance, I applied for the card later, but apparently, if I had the card right away, the money would have arrived in the same time frame. It’s strange that your mother didn’t. They said when to expect receipt, it is their responsibility.

  • If the payment is intended for a child, one of the parents or the child’s guardian can collect it. Starting from the age of 14, a teenager has the right to independently receive funds in a way convenient for him;
  • If the pensioner is in a psychiatric hospital or place of deprivation of liberty, the funds are credited to a special account, the safety of which must be ensured by the administration of the institution;
  • Persons living in a nursing home receive a pension under standard conditions.

The procedure for paying benefits is regulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Time limits for calculating the old-age pension The law determines from what day the old-age pension is calculated. The accrual occurs on the first day of the month of submitting the application to the territorial office of the Pension Fund, but cannot be scheduled earlier than the agreed date.

Example. The application was submitted on March 15. At the same time, the period for consideration of an application for an old-age pension will extend, subject to the availability of all documents, until March 25.

From appointment to first payment of pension

At the same time, the method of receiving funds does not matter: even if the money is credited to a bank card, information about the new place of residence must still be transferred to the Pension Fund. This is done this way:

  1. At the new place of registration, obtain a note about the change of registration from the passport office;
  2. With your passport you will go to the Pension Fund at your new place of registration.
    There you need to write an application for relocation;
  3. After this, within three working days, the payment case from the old place of residence will be transferred to the Pension Fund at the new place of registration.

It is worth considering that if a person moves abroad, the procedure for receiving a pension changes: a trusted person can receive the money.

The procedure for calculating and paying pensions

  1. Disability;
  2. Serious illness;
  3. Absence on the territory of the Russian Federation;
  4. An elderly person's own desire.

Any citizen of Russia can receive money by proxy: it does not matter whether he is a relative of the pensioner or not. To prepare the document, you need to contact the notary office at your place of residence.

How long after registration of a pension should it arrive on the card?

It is necessary that two parties be present: the principal and the trustee. The document contains the following information:

  • Full name of the trustee and the principal;
  • Series and number of the passport of the trustee and the principal;
  • Validity period of the document;
  • Full name of the bank and account number (if the pension goes to the bank), or the name of the post office.

After registering a power of attorney, you need to contact a bank or post office (depending on the method of receiving funds), after re-issuing the documents, the authorized person will be able to receive finances for the elderly person.

Payment when changing place of residence Each citizen receiving a pension benefit is tied to the territorial division of the Pension Fund in his city. Therefore, if he changes his place of registration, he needs to notify the Pension Fund about this.

A labor pension (part of an old-age labor pension) is assigned from the date of application for the specified pension (for the specified part of an old-age labor pension), except for the cases provided for in paragraphs 4 and 4.1 of this article, but in all cases not earlier than from the date the right to the specified pension (the specified part of the old-age labor pension). 2. The day of application for a labor pension (part of the old-age labor pension) is considered to be the day the body providing pension provision receives the corresponding application with all necessary documents.

If the specified application is sent by mail and all the necessary documents are attached to it, then the day of application for a labor pension (part of the old-age labor pension) is considered to be the date indicated on the postmark of the federal postal service organization at the place of departure of this application. 3.

When is the first old-age pension paid?

Such knowledge is necessary so that the beneficiary can plan his budget and, if necessary, resolve controversial issues regarding payments. How long does it take to consider an application for the first pension? The deadlines established by law for assigning a pension after filing an application should not exceed 10 days from the date the citizen applies to the regional office Pension Fund of the Russian Federation at the place of residence. The day of application for a pension is the day when the application was accepted and registered by the Pension Fund branch. The reason for exceeding the 10-day period for consideration of the application may be the submission of an incomplete package of documents, which the pensioner must provide on the day of submission of the application. In this case, the citizen receives a recommendation from the department for assigning cash payments about the need to supplement the existing package of documents with the missing certificate or certificate.

When should the first pension be paid?

As far as I know, in in this case there can be a variety of situations. For example, even if you arrange your pension payments in advance, you can wait three whole calendar months for them to arrive on your plastic card, or you can receive them already in the next calendar month, as was the case with my parents.
In any case, all legal pension payments will be transferred to a plastic card. I started receiving a pension at a time when there were no bank cards. Therefore, I cannot say about the timing. This partly depends on the efficiency of the Pension Fund employees. It is possible that the pension will not arrive in January. But then in February the amount for two months should arrive. To different people transfer pension to different days month. For example, my pension for the current month arrives on my bank card on the twentieth.

Deadlines for accrual and payment of pensions

What terms for calculating a pension after submitting documents are established by law is a question of interest to those who have reached the legal age and are expecting their first pension payment.

A person who has joined the ranks of pensioners must have a clear idea of the schedule for issuing the first and all subsequent pensions. Such knowledge is necessary so that the beneficiary can plan his budget and, if necessary, resolve controversial issues regarding payments.

How long does it take to process your first pension application?

The deadlines established by law for assigning a pension after filing an application should not exceed 10 days from the date the citizen applies to the regional office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation at the place of residence.

Please note: If the application and documents were submitted by mail, then the day on which the application was submitted will be considered the date on the stamp of the envelope. Just as with a personal application, the package of documents will be reviewed, and if it is incomplete, the pensioner will receive a notification about the need to send the missing papers.

Postponement of consideration of an application for a pension

If the package of documents submitted by the pensioner to the Pension Fund office is incomplete, he must correct the situation no later than after 3 months. Only in this case, the day of filing the application will be recognized as the date of the initial application.

The citizen learns about all decisions made by receiving written notice.

Important! Incorrect submission of documents for payment of the first pension may cause a delay in the consideration of the application for up to 3 months.

After the expiration of the 10-day period for consideration of the application established by law, or if there are objective reasons, an extended period for consideration, the pensioner receives a notification of the need to appear at the department for assigning financial support. During a personal reception, the citizen is informed about the accrual of payments, the date of their receipt is set, and a pension certificate is issued.

Deadlines for calculating old-age pensions

The law determines from what day the old age pension is calculated.

The pension will be accrued for March, but not in full, but for all days from March 15 to March 31. The pensioner should receive the first payment in April. But, if they do not have time to add it to the statement, the payment will be made in May for two months.

The terms for assigning an insurance pension are somewhat different for persons who are disabled and have lost their breadwinner. According to Art. 22 clause 5 of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation on “Insurance pensions”, for this category of citizens, if the application is submitted on time, a pension is assigned earlier than the date of application to the territorial office.

When will the pensioner receive money?

When applying for a monthly cash benefit, the territorial office of the Pension Fund determines the monthly date of its receipt. The pensioner cannot choose the number at his own discretion. The day for issuing money is not established by law, but depends on the decision of local executive bodies.

The only requirement for the accrual day is the condition that funds should not be paid later than the 10th.

Determining the date on which funds will be issued is influenced by:

  • regional features;

How do different methods of receiving a pension affect the timing?

Many people are interested in the dates by which money is paid to pensioners when they receive it in various ways.

The following options for receiving a pension are available:

  1. at the post office: issuance is made directly at the post office or the money is delivered home by the postman.
    The payment schedule is established by Russian Post. The same organization reports changes to the schedule due to holidays;
  2. bank branches: You can receive money any day.
    Payments are received by the 15th of each month. It is possible to use a storage system;
  3. organizations: The payment schedule is similar to Russian Post.

If the pensioner was unable to receive accruals on time, this can be done later.

Answers to frequently asked questions

Can a pension be assigned earlier than the day when a citizen first applied to the Pension Fund? When do you receive the first amount of money in case of loss of a breadwinner?

Yes, this option is provided for by law. This type of appointment is possible in the following cases:

  • when applying for an old-age retirement pension: when applying for payment no later than 30 days from the date of dismissal. The date of accrual will be the date following the date of dismissal;
  • calculation of disability pension payments: after official recognition of the fact of disability, a citizen must contact the Pension Fund office within 12 months in order for the first payment to be assigned to him. In this case, the date of registration of disability will be recognized as the day of accrual.

If a pension payment is assigned due to the loss of a breadwinner, the date of assignment will be the day of death of the breadwinner, provided that the application is made no later than 12 months after the right to this payment arises.

I retired in December, when I will receive my first pension if I quit on December 10, and submitted the application on January 4. What number will be considered the accrual date?

Your documents will be verified by January 14th. Then the data will be entered into an electronic database. You will receive a notice of the need to appear at the Pension Fund, where the date for payment of the money will be agreed upon. The accrual date will be December 11. You can receive money for December depending on the schedule: in February or March. If funds are disbursed in March, you will be able to receive two pensions at once - for December and January.

When applying for a disability pension, which month is considered the first to start accruals?

The first month is considered to be the month of official recognition of a citizen as disabled, regardless of the date of submission of the application to the territorial office of the Pension Fund. In this case, a time limit for submitting documents is set - no more than 1 year.

I started receiving pension payments in November, I was given a receipt date for the 5th. In December I moved to St. Petersburg, and I was told that I would now receive accruals on the 9th. I would like to know why the payment terms have changed.
