Do not take thick paper for the first attempt; it is better to take soft corrugated paper or a set of colored school paper. Until you learn how to tightly fix the folds of the craft, soft material is best suited for creativity.

- Take green leaves. We repeat steps 1 to 5 inclusive without changes.

- Turn the workpiece, then bend the corner in the same order as in the red workpiece.
- The modules have holes where you need to insert a long corner. First, we assemble 3 modules of the same color, then the second, after which we connect the two halves of the cube.
- To turn a neat little cube into a rose, you need to follow these steps: pull out the short green corners and unfold them. This is how rose petals are made.
- To form a rose bud, pull out the bottom corner from the fold on three sides. The upper corners extended in the same way will add splendor and volume to the rose.
The wonderful kusudama ball made of individual modules also belongs to easy origami models. This craft is made from many simple origami roses fastened together. Many craftswomen love such products for the opportunity to show their imagination, surprise others, and decorate the interior of their home.
To assemble the modules, in addition to paper, you will need glue and 6 paper sheets. Modules can be the same color or can be combined from 2-3 harmonious shades. Proceed step by step:
- Cut uniform long strips (the length of a sheet) about 1 cm wide from plain paper with your improvised tools (a stationery knife, scissors);
- Take one strip and make the initial folds inward on it, according to Fig. 1. You don’t need to carefully observe the angles of the bends, you can fold it by eye - each origami rose will be unique;
- Begin to carefully roll the workpiece along the axis, without running into the free parts of the strip. Reaching an untouched area, bend the strip in the opposite direction from the previous bend and wrap the flower further;
- Continue the “movement” until the end of the strip. Glue the final “tail” to the base of the resulting flower;
- Place the “cap” of the rose on the stem. The latter can be made from green paper (rolling the sheet into a thin tube) or using a wooden skewer (twig, wire - whatever is at hand).
Do you see how you can create beauty without any special tricks - easily and quickly? It remains to repeat the steps with the remaining paper strips in order to quickly fold a whole bouquet of paper roses with your own hands. Similar flowers can be folded.

Lesson 2: folding a figured rose according to a template
Surely you have never seen anywhere how to make a paper rose using a figured graphic template. It’s amazing how easy it is to create a beautiful garden queen. 2. It will work especially well from a double-sided piece of paper, but you can also use starched textiles, for example.

- Cut out the workpiece along the traced contours and carefully cut a serpentine line with scissors to the very center point;
- Make these templates according to the desired number of flowers in the future bouquet - 3-15 pcs. (can be of different sizes);
- Using the “peduncle” as an axial “spindle”, carefully wrap the edge of the curly strip onto it, as shown in Fig. Wrap the entire flower like this, taking your time and focusing on the base of the origami rose;
- Glue the “bundle” at the base, simultaneously fixing it on the peduncle, straighten the petals - you have made luxurious flowers with your own hands.
When making such a rose from colored paper, take its most realistic shades - purple, delicate pink, natural beige or deep scarlet. And if this rose is made from a napkin, the result will be great - it will be almost impossible to distinguish it from a real one from afar.

Lesson 3: Roses from paper spirals
Perhaps one of the most unusual ways to get a small rose out of paper.
No weaving or assembling flowers from blanks, everything is as simple, fast and cheap as possible.

The paper used is the most common one.
You need PVA glue or a special one for needlework; quick-drying glue from a glue gun will not work.
Lesson 4: complex “living” rose using origami technique
We are improving our skills, and our new goal is a large rose using the origami technique, which is as similar as possible to the real queen of greenhouses. By mastering this pattern, you are not folding a simple flower from a piece of paper, but a true work of art. The final result will directly depend on patience and accuracy. So:
- Take a square sheet of paper and fold it diagonally, then in half from bottom to top and from right to left;
- Fold the corners of the “lined” square diagonally located in front of you to the bottom corner, forming a hem of the planes inside the workpiece (exactly as in Fig. 3);
- Next, fold the intricate “pocket”, strictly adhering to the diagram, and then unfold the workpiece, focusing on the control points (carefully see Fig. 3);
- Grasp the resulting “layered” workpiece confidently with one hand to securely fix the package and prevent it from falling apart when wrapping the petals. With your second hand, start tucking the “petals” from the inside, slightly creasing the structure and using the technique of opening the corners;
- Bring the edges of the corners together as shown in Fig. 3 and press the fixing “ribs” of the flower, following the diagram. Using the tip of a ballpoint pen (pin or paperclip), “curl” the upward-protruding petals inside. Similarly, give the outer petals of the flower a twisted shape.
- Using glue, plant the rose on a previously prepared pedicel, decorated with stem petals made of green construction paper.
This is not the easiest origami rose, but it is very interesting to make. Especially for inquisitive natures, focused on results. The elegance of the finished flower will definitely reward you with a sense of pride in your skills in the origami technique and contemplation of the almost real splendor of the owner of the rose garden.
Lesson 5: creating masterpieces. Rose Kawasaki
If you understand how to fold the unique giant Kawasaki rose, you will be able to master the most virtuosic crafts. The hardest thing to learn here is how to make a rosebud from a simple square piece of paper. Therefore, it will not be superfluous to first watch a training video, which shows much more clearly how this is done.
- Make a multi-level folding of the future rose from a square-shaped paper blank, based on the video and figure. 4;
- Bend back the small corners and, lifting the sheet, form a dome with a “cut” upper corner, bring the workpiece into the plane of the required shape (see Fig. 4);
- Now form the core by carefully bending the peculiar upper flaps towards you (opening) and bending the lower edge of the workpiece back (raising the bundle);
- Secure the core with tape or hold it tightly with your fingers so that the workpiece does not fall apart, then turn the product “face down”;
- Along the folds, turn the corners (petals) inward along the axis, clasping the entire bowl of the flower with your hand. Then you will need to open each corner fold, tucking it inward;
- The outer petals, inaccurately sticking out in different directions, need to be folded towards each other and tucked into the body pocket of the adjacent petal;
- Squeezing the bud in your hand, compact it slightly, and then straighten the flower from the inside by inserting a pencil into the cavity hole at the base - the origami Kawasaki rose is ready.
To make the origami Kawasaki rose unfold before you in absolute splendor, shape its petals based on the photo.
